"Todomomo!"

16:31, 11 May 2022

~Momo~

Todoroki and I have fallen back into the swing of things. We hang out like we used to and talk like we used to...

The only difference is that we kiss now.

A lot.

"Todoroki-kun, leave me alone. I'm trying to study." I push Todoroki away from me with a grin as I continue to answer math questions.

"Whyyyy?" He whines. He intertwines my fingers with his and then kisses me again.

"I mean it. Leave me alone until I can get my work done." I laugh.

"Alright then," he gets up from the table and goes to the fridge, grabbing a bag of chips and sitting on my couch. He's done his work already and I'm just finishing up now.

"Yaoyorozu, how long does it take?" He asks after a few minutes.

"You miss me far too much, Todoroki. I'm on my last question. You can survive for that long."

"Don't be so sure," I hear in response.

Ever since Todoroki told me about his problems, we've become more comfortable with each other and I learned that Todoroki actually does have a sense of humor.

"'Kay, I'm done."

~Shoto~

I'm going to ask Yaoyorozu to be my girlfriend.

I enjoy her company now more than I ever have before. And there's a new feeling when I'm with her...  I don't really understand it.

I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I am. I just have to give myself a pep talk first.

Yaoyorozu stretches with a yawn, walking over to me.

She sits beside me, resting her head on my shoulder. I grin and wrap my arms around her waist. "I don't want to go to school tomorrow."

"Me neither," I sigh.

Yaoyorozu yawns again. She's been really tired since she's been catching up on a lot of homework. I'm glad she's finally done with it.

"Why don't we make the most out of Sunday?" Yaoyorozu asks me with a smirk.

"Sounds great to me," I chuckle.

"Good. You get out of my house, I'm going to take a nap."

"What?!" I grab a pillow off the couch and slam her in the face with it.

"Calm down, I'm just kidding. I'd rather be here with you anyways." She leans over and kisses me, I kiss her back.

"For a guy who was so scared that he didn't know how to kiss, you sure are doing a good job," she laughs.

It's both embarrassing, amusing and endearing when she teases me the way she does.

~Momo~

My spirits are up today, I just wish I didn't have to go to school.

"So?????" Uraraka runs right up to me with nosiness taking place of a greeting.

"Yeah, give us the details," Jiro pops up out of nowhere.

All I want is to get to my locker...

"Yao-Momo! What happened, what happened, what happened?!!! Did he ever apologize? I want tea, and lots of it!!!"

And... Ashido's here too.

"Well, basically... hecameovertomyhouseandtoldmesomestuffabouthisfatherandthenwekissed."

"You kissed him?! For real?" Jiro asks.

"Mhm." Then with a sly grin, I add, "That was the first kiss, but not the last, if you know what I mean."

"We know what you mean, girl!" Ashido's literally jumping up and down.

"I'll tell you guys some more stuff at lunch."

--

When it's lunch, all the girls want is to hear me talk about Todoroki, but I don't mind because I want to talk about him, too.

"So? So? Are you guys dating yet?" Uraraka asks me.

"Well not yet, but I think we will soon."

"You're kissing this guy and you're still friends? Come on, girl." Jiro rolls her eyes.

"Well, I don't know how to ask him yet."

"It's not hard," Tsu speaks up. "Just tell him how you feel about him and then... just ask."

Everyone stares at Tsu with bewildered looks on our faces.

"Have you done this before? Have you confessed to someone, Tsu?" Uraraka asks softly.

"Oh.. yeah," she blushes, "Tokoyami and I have been going out for a while now.. almost a month I think..."

Our mouths are hanging open. Ashido drops her chopsticks and they fall onto her plate along with the rice. "Are you kidding me?"

"Yeah... he's my boyfriend."

Hagakure, who's sitting next to Tsu, throws her arms around Tsu and squeals, "I'm so happy for you!!!"

"Why did you keep this from usss," Jiro hisses.

"I don't know... I don't know, I think Tokoyami-kun wanted to keep it quiet for a while. He's kinda shy..."

"Could tell," Uraraka laughs.

"More like rude," Hagakure whispers. Tsu rolls her eyes.

Kinda grateful that the conversation has shifted from me and Todoroki, I dig back into my noodles and eat silently.

~Shoto~

I stare at Yaoyorozu while I eat.

I don't mean to be strange or creepy, but I can't take my eyes off of her. She's just so beautiful.

"Looking at her again, huh, Todoroki?" Midoriya grins.

"Yeah, it's grossing me out, goddamit!" Bakugo hisses while he chomps on his food.

"Are you two dating yet?" Kaminari asks.

"No, but I want to ask her today," I say.

Howling noises erupt from the table. My forehead meets the table and I cover my eyes with my hands.

"I don't understand why you are so intent on harassing me when some of you could be dating, as well."

Silence. Thank goodness.

"Name one couple that you ship, Todoroki-kun," Midoriya says.

I don't know what ship means but I figure he's asking who I think should be a couple so I say "Kaminari and Jiro Kyoka."

"I don't even like her," he protests.

"You're lying, simp," Bakugo smirks.

"Leave me alone, Bakugo! You're just mad because women don' t like you!"

"You take that back, you punka--!"

And chaos. Honestly, I don't expect much else. I steal another glance at Yaoyorozu, talking with her friends until I catch myself staring at her lips.

Oh my God, just ask her.

~Momo~

Todoroki's ghosting me.

I haven't seen him in three days.

...

Well, that's not really true. I see him every day because he sits beside me in class but besides that, we don't hang out or walk home together like usual.

I wonder why.

Sometimes Todoroki is so mysterious that I can't tell his true reasons for doing the things that he does. I hope he's not avoiding me like he has before.

But then again, each time he avoided me, the end result was wonderful. So I might just wait to see what happens.

But I miss his company already.

--

I think it's great that Tsu's with Tokoyami. It makes me want to be Todoroki's girlfriend more but I'm happy for her. If I had it my way, Jiro would have already asked Kaminari out, same with Uraraka and Midoriya.

But I'll let them be stubborn. I once was.

I sit under a tree with some mints that I had in my pocket. I chew them in silence as I stare at the clouds, making shapes out of them.

It's been a while since I've felt peace like this. I smile brightly.

"Yaoyorozu?"

I snap my head up, someone's calling my name. And it sounds a lot like...

Todoroki.

"Yaoyorozu-chan? Oh, there you are." He brought me pink roses this time. I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of roses in the near future.

"These are beautiful, Todoroki. How do you know I love roses?"

"Roses remind me of you, I figured you'd like them," he grins.

"Well you're right."

"Yaoyorozu... I really enjoy your company and it makes me happy to spend time with you. You understand me and you're open with me and I like that we have that in each other. Um... and..."

What is he doing?

"...I like it when you kiss me, Yaoyorozu."

Is he going to ask me to be his girlfriend?!

"Until lately, I didn't understand the meaning of this word, but now that I do understand, that's what I want you to be to me."

Oh my God.

"Yaoyorozu-chan, I want you to be my girlfriend."

~Shoto~

I wonder what she'll say. There are tears in her eyes and a smile is stretching across her face.

I'm shocked, overjoyed, and relieved when she says "YEESSS!"

She throws her arms around me with so much force that we both topple to the ground. Yaoyorozu is on top of me.

We both blush, but neither one of us move.

"I love you, Todoroki-kun."

"I love you too, Yaoyorozu-chan."

She lowers her face to mine. Our noses touch, and shortly after that our lips touch, as well.

Yaoyorozu is the first and only girl I've ever kissed, and I don't want to kiss anyone else.

The moment our lips separate, I give it one second before I just lift my face back towards hers for another kiss.

She brings her hands to my head and runs her fingers through my hair. I do the same to her. Her hair is long and silky. I wonder how she manages to take care of it.

But then again, this is Yaoyorozu we're talking about, and she can do anything.

She gets off of me and blushes, grinning. "You think we should go now?"

"No, I don't think we should," I smirk. I place my hands on her sides and push her into the tree behind her. Then I kiss her for what feels like forever.
