Chapter 6
00:24, 6 September 2023Woodsboro High School
The hallway at Woodsboro High is filled with students as they make their way to their respective classes. Tatum, Sidney and Stacey are by the lockers, waiting for the bell to ring. "This is a mistake." Stacey claims as she closes her locker. "I shouldn't be here."
"I want you to meet me here right after class, okay?" Tatum stares at Stacey and nods.
Billy appears in the swarm of students with Stu right beside him. "Shit, what is he doing here?" Stacey asks as she sees the brown haired boy.
"I bet he's pissed." Sidney states, looking down.
"Just ignore him." Tatum suggests while closing her locker. "You had good reason to think what you did."
Billy and Stu approach the girls and the taller boy kisses Stacey. "Hi, angel!" She wraps her arms around his neck and smiles. "I missed you like crazy." He places a kiss on her neck and she squirms.
"You know I missed you too, right?" Stacey asks and she pecks his nose but he pouts. "My days without you are meaningless." She kisses Stu passionately and Tatum pretends to barf, causing the couple to laugh.
"Hi, Sid. Can we talk a sec?" Billy asks nervously but Sidney is unable to answer, still feeling uneasy around him.
Tatum holds Sidney's arm. "You know if I were accused of carving up two people, I'd take the opportunity to skip school." She looks at Billy dead in the eye.
"Hey, go easy Tatum." Stu steps up. "He didn't do it."
"Talk to me, Sid." Billy pleads to no avail.
Stacey lets go of Stu's embrace and looks at Billy. "Just give her some time, okay Billy?"
Suddenly, someone wearing a Ghostface mask grabs Stacey and she screams like a mad woman while Billy holds her in his arms. "Why are they doing this?" Sidney asks as she looks at her friend.
Stu chuckles. "Are you kidding? This is like Christmas."
Billy punches Stu in the arm and the tall goofy guy complains. "You open your mouth and stupidity pours out."
Stu looks at his scared girlfriend and holds her in his arms. "Sorry, babe." He kisses the top of her head.
"It's okay." Stacey stares at his blue eyes. "I'm used to your stupidity leak." She smiles at him and he pecks her lips. "Thanks, Billy." She turns to the brown haired boy and smiles softly, acknowledging his help.
"No problem, Stace." Billy scratches the back of his head and smiles. Sidney starts to leave and Billy goes after her. "Sid..."
"Stay away from her, Billy." Tatum yells as Stu slams his locker shut and turns to Stacey.
Billy and Sidney were a complicated couple. Their relationship started out strong, but after her mother's death she started to pull away from her boyfriend, causing a rift between them. It didn't help that there were rumors he was cheating on Sidney. Also, there was Stacey. It was no secret she lost her virginity to Billy Loomis, but no one ever talked about it, especially Stu. For a minute, he really hated his friend for deflowering the only girl he ever loved.
...
After the bell rings, Stacey decides to skip and Stu holds her in his arms, kissing the top of her head. "I can't believe you're skipping class. It's not like you, angel." He chuckles.
Stacey looks into his beautiful blue eyes. "I just don't feel like sitting in class while my mind is somewhere else." She sighs. "This situation is too bizarre."
Stu looks around and smirks at his girlfriend. "The chemistry lab is empty." He states.
"So..." Stacey seems confused.
"Come." Stu starts walking while holding Stacey's hand. Once they arrive at the chemistry lab, he looks around to make sure no one is watching and opens the door. He locks the door and closes the blinds, sitting on a desk. "We haven't been alone in a while." He mentions while pulling Stacey closer to him.
The blonde kisses her boyfriend and then stares at him. "So your plan is to hook up right now?" She give him an unconvincing look.
"Do you have a better idea?" Stu questions and she just shrugs. "Good girl." He chuckles and stands up, grabbing Stacey by the waist and sitting her on the desk. "I miss you so much, angel." He places sloppy and warm kisses on her neck.
"Stu..." Stacey moans softly. "What if we get caught?"
Stu silences her with a passionate kiss while touching her ass. She wraps her legs around his waist while her hands travel to the end of his back, taking off his shirt. Stu pulls her black tights down, along with her underwear while unbuckling his belt. "Fuck, you're so damn beautiful." He whispers in her ear, sending shivers down her back.
Stacey nibbles his ear while Stu takes off his boxers and penetrates her, feeling her warmth and getting more excited than he was. She leans back, moaning his name and he starts going faster, watching her green eyes roll in ecstasy. There were no words to describe his feelings for the gorgeous blonde. He knew he hit the jackpot when Stacey took him back after fucking up with her. Not only was she his soulmate, she was his entire world and Stu made sure she knew how much he loved her.
The blonde grabs his neck. "Shit, I'm almost done." Stu kisses Stacey and finishes while getting lost in her eyes.
"Damn!" Stu exclaims after he's done and cleans himself off with a lab coat. "Do you think they'll notice?" He chuckles and sticks his tongue out.
Stacey laughs and pulls her underwear up. "Stu, that's disgusting." She states while punching him lightly on the arm.
Stu sits next to her after getting dressed and puts his arm around her shoulders. "I love you so much, angel. Never doubt that."
"I love you too, Stuey." Stacey leans her head on his shoulder. "I will love you forever, no matter what. You're mine, Stu Macher."
"And you're mine, Stacey Hastings." He kisses her softly and smiles as he admires her soft features. To him, Stacey is the most beautiful girl in the world and nothing could change that. And she only saw the boy she met when she moved to Woodsboro. They've been in love since they were 6 years old and now everything felt like it should be. Stu intended to marry her and have kids and live happily ever after. If only she could look past everything that he had done for her.
...
Stacey is on cloud nine after her steamy moment with Stu. He really was the perfect boyfriend. He would wait for her after class and walk her home. Whenever his parents weren't home, Stu would plan the most perfect dates that always ended up with both naked in his bed. Sure, he could be clueless in some situations and would always say the wrong thing, but he wasn't mean and always meant well. Sometimes she felt like she didn't deserve such a devoted boyfriend.
The blonde girl walked inside the girl's bathroom and got inside a stall. Nothing could ruin her good mood and she owed it all to Stu. "She was never attacked." Stacey hears a girl say. "I think she made it all up."
"Why would she lie about it?" Another girl asks.
"For attention." The first girl replies.
Stacey hears a flush and decides to get on top of the toilet, hiding from the girls. "Why would she need attention? Stacey is the captain of the cheerleading team."
"What if she did it?" The girl asks. "What if Stacey killed Casey and Steve?"
"And why would she do that? Casey was her best friend." The other girl answers.
"Maybe she was hot for Steve and killed them both in a jealous rage." The girl chuckles.
"Why would Stacey want to be with Steve? She has her own hot boyfriend, Stu." The second girl claims. "And Stu is so much hotter than Steve."
Both girls start washing their hands. "Maybe she's a slut like Sidney."
"Why is Sidney a slut?"
"Her mom was one. Maybe that's why Stacey and Sidney are such good friends." The first girl grins.
"You're evil."
"Please, it's common knowledge."
The girls look at the mirror and retouch their makeup. "Cut them some slack. Stacey watched Casey and Steve being gutted while Sidney watched her own mom get butchered."
"What if they're both in on it?" The first girl suggests. "Think about it. It makes perfect sense." She looks at her friend. "Sidney's mom's death leaves her distraught and hostile at a cruel and inhumane world, she's disillusioned, where's God, etc. Completely suicidal. And one day she snaps. She wants to kill herself but realizes teens suicide is out this year. And Stacey tells her that homicide is a much healthier therapeutic expression."
Stacey's green eyes widen in anger and heart is pounding. "Where do you get this shit?"
"Ricki Lake." Both girls laugh and exit the bathroom.
Stacey comes out of the stall and looks in the mirror. "Pathetic." She opens the faucet and throws water on her face. A water leak is heard and the wind whistles outside.
"Staceeeyyy..." The girls hears a voice and spins around in an instant. She checks the stalls, bending down to see if there's someone inside the closed stalls. "Staceeeyyy..." The same whisper is heard, she's not crazy.
The blonde gets up and looks at the stalls through the mirror, waiting to see any movement. "Is someone there?" Stacey questions but no answer comes out. Is she hallucinating?
After a long silence, someone speaks. "It's me, Stacey!"
Suddenly, Ghostface comes out of one of the stalls and stares at Stacey, his knife shining in his hand. "Fuck!" Stacey exclaims as she takes a step closer to the sink.
The masked figure takes one step forward and Stacey tries to run to the door but she slips on the wet floor. She manages to grab onto a sink but the man grabs her shoulder and slams her against the door. Stacey kicks the figure and bolts, screaming bloody murder in the hallway until she bumps into someone. "He's here!" She continues screaming.
Billy looks at Stacey and holds her arms. "What happened, Stace?"
"The killer's here in the bathroom. He attacked me." Stacey looks behind her and then hugs Billy tightly. "I'm not making this up."
Billy tightens the embrace and smells her hair. "I believe you, Stace." He whispers in her ear. "Let me take care of you." Stacey nods and Billy guides her away to the principal's office.
Principal Himbry is scolding two boys who pranked Stacey earlier, when Billy and Stacey burst into the door, the poor girl shaking and crying. "What is this, Mr. Loomis?" He rolls his eyes.
"He's here..." Stacey shouts. "I saw him... he's here."
Himbry rushes to her, his arms outstretched. "Easy, child." Stacey collapses into his arms while Billy watches with a mysterious expression on his face.
Principal Himbry had a soft spot for Stacey, perhaps due to his unrequited love for her mother. Both of them went to high school together and he carried a torch for her then. Of course, Stacey was a model student. She never got in trouble and was very involved in school activities while maintaining a perfect GPA score. His relationship with Billy Loomis was complicated, to say the least. They hated each other.
...
After Principal Himbry's announcement, school starts clearing out. The halls are nearly empty while Tatum and Sidney escort Stacey out the campus. "It was just some sick fuck having a laugh." Sidney states.
"It was him, Sid. I know it." Stacey turns to the skeptical brunette.
"You are not to be alone again." Tatum clears her throat. "Is that clear? If you pee, I pee." The three girls laugh as Stu appears.
Stu drapes his arm around Stacey and grins. "Is this not cool or what?" He asks as the foursome walk along campus. "Hey Stace, what happened?" He asks, somewhat concerned.
"For once, Stu, drop it." Tatum says harshly.
Stacey rolls her eyes at Tatum and turns to her boyfriend. "I'll tell you later."
Stu's eyes light up and he picks a purple flower and hands it to Stacey. "Okay, but whatever you did... the entire student body thanks you." He bows down and then gives his girlfriend a quick kiss. "And to celebrate this impromptu fall break, I propose we have a party. Tonight, my house." He smiles from ear to ear.
"Are you serious?" Stacey raises her eyebrows while placing her arm around Stu's waist.
"My parents are out of town." Stu explains. "It'll be like my hurricane bash last year. Nothing extreme. Just a few of us, hangin'."
Tatum nods her head and links arms with Sidney. "This could be good. What do you think, Sid?"
"I don't know..." Sidney looks down. "Stacey just got attacked."
"Come on, pathos has its perks." Tatum reasons.
Sidney looks at her friends, trying to find a reason not to go. "There's safety in numbers." Stu points out.
"Besides..." Stacey turns to Sidney. "I may be unkillable." She laughs.
Sidney sighs in defeat. "Yeah, okay... whatever."
Stu twirls Stacey around and picks her up to his shoulder. "Cool." He slaps her ass softly. "See you guys tonight. Bring food."
"Put me down!" Stacey complains and he complies. "We should go get some movies and I'll help you set up." She suggests.
"That's an excellent idea." Stu grabs her waist and kisses her cheek. Stu Macher was known for his over the top and super fun parties. Everyone who ever went to one of his bashes can attest to how wild those could get. Stacey always a great time, mostly due to Stu's undivided attention. He never left her alone. She always provided entertainment, thanks to Randy, which is why he was always invited. Randy Meeks was a geek with access to rated R movies, a definite crowd pleaser.
