21. When all hope is gone

'Sydney....' a soft voice whispers.

'Who's there!' She yells and she can hear her voice echo.

'Sydney...' the voice whispers again.

She follows the sound and she walks to some kind of light.

She looks around her and she's in a room on a spaceship.

She looks around and sees a man sitting on the bed. She walks to him and sits next to him.

'Heimdall, What's going on?' She asks and he seems very tense, he jumps at the sound of her voice and he looks at her.

'Something is coming, something bad...' he says.

'What is coming?, where am I?'

'You're on the spaceship...the whole crowd is on this spaceship, we saved as many as we could...we are heading to Midgard..'

'That's good, this is good isn't it?' Sydney asks.

'Someone Dark is coming, death follows him like a shadow...you may have read about him in one of your books...'

'Who is coming, Heimdall...answer me...' She says.

'Thanos...he will come to Midgard for the final infinity stones...the glove you saw in the vault, it was fake but he has the real one, he wants to rule over the galaxy...you have to warm them Sydney...' he says.

'How can I warm them if I'm here...'

'You're not here Sydney...you're on Midgard..' Heimdall says and suddenly she remembers everything that happened.

Her getting blasted away into space by the explosion, her falling to Midgard. People rushing to her to help her. Two men and one female taking care of her.

She looks at her hands, they're covered in blood and she feels a sharp pain in her chest.

'Warn them Sydney!' Heimdall says before everything fades away.

She is left in the cold again and she looks around. Everything is dark, until she sees someone in the distance.

'Hey!, Wait!, you need to help me!, Wait!' She says running to the person.

'I want you to see, what's going to happen if you don't warn them...' the person says and she can only see a hand reaching for her head.

It touches her head and suddenly she's in the middle of a field.

The wind blows through her hair and it covers up her face. She clears her face and she looks around.

There are millions of people laying on the ground.

Some have suits, other just have regular clothing. She looks further and sees buildings falling apart, and she sees a large man above it all. Watching with a smirk on his face.

'You can't stop it Sydney...everyone you love, will go down...'

'Not if I warn everyone about you!' She says.

'Look around you, everyone you love, dead!' He says.

She looks around and sees Thor, Nadia, Valkyrie and Loki laying with every other person from Asgard.

She rushes to them and she looks at Loki.

'It's sad isn't it?, seeing everyone you love turn to dust!' He says.

Sydney sees a spear laying around and she grabs it.

'That's not going to do the trick...'

'I might as well try it...' she says and throws it at the large man.

He just laughs at her and he walks right to her.

'I'm not the type for joy, but this...this sure brings a smile to my face...'

'You're Nothing But a big angry grape asking for attention, I will make sure you won't cause this, even if it's the last thing I do...' she says.

The big man picks up the spear and aims it at her.

'I'd like to see you try...' he says and throws it.

As it hits her chest she gasps.

The monitor starts to beep violently and Sydney gasps.

She coughs and sees all kinds of equipment.

She coughs and gets up.

'Hurry, patient number 204 is awake!' A female voice says and four nurses rush in.

'Honey I need you to lie down for me Okay, take it easy...' the nurse says as she gently pushes her back into the bed.

Sydney pushes the nurse against the wall and she cuts herself lose from all the wires.

She rushes through the hallways and she sees a big room.

'All agents to level 7!' She hears someone yell behind her and she starts running.

She pushes the doors open and she stumbles in.

'Our Jane Doe escapes!' The nurse says rushing after her.

'You have to listen to me, please!, something bad is about to happen!' Sydney says looking at the man with the eyepatch.

'She's crazy Nick, don't listen to her...' one of the other men says.

'No!, leave me alone!, please You have to listen to me!'

The nurse tries to pull her away but Sydney is too strong.

'Who are you?' The man with the eyepatch asks her.

'I'm Sydney, I'm from..Asgard, you need to believe me, I saw what happens when I don't warn you...a lot of people will die if you don't listen to me..'
