Song: Aurora - runaway

'We can not go to Jotenheim Thor, your father will banish you for that and you know it...' Sydney sternly states.

'We can't let them get away with this lady Sydney...' Thor replies.

'First if all, just call me Sydney...second of all, why would you risk it..you might start a war...'

'No I think he should go there, just to talk...' Loki butts in and Sydney turns around, a scowl on her face.

'Are you out of your mind, I need to protect you but you're making it very hard at the moment...' she seethes.

'Please Sydney...just to talk and you can come with us...' Thor begs and she stays silent for a few seconds. 'If this is going to -'

'It won't...' Thor interjects.

'Let's move...' Sif orders.

'I can't believe I'm actually going with this...' Sydney mutters to herself as she follows the group.

The cold air slices Sydney's cheeks even more than it's supposed to, she shivers as her eyes scan the environment.

'We're a bit underdressed...' she grits through chattering teeth. She uses her powers to put on her cloak.

It's silent around them, Too silent for Sydney's liking. It's almost unnatural.

'Come out wherever you are!' Thor yells.

'Thor don't make them angry...' Sydney hisses at Thor.

'Odinson...I should've known...what are you here for?' Laufey's form lurks over the group.

'You send those frost giants, you send them after that box...' Thor immediately turns to his aggressive self and Sydney tries to stop him.

'I didn't do anything...maybe there was a backdoor, maybe not all your guards are loyal to you and your father...' Laufeys low chuckle echoes through the mountains.

'Asgardians are all loyal to me and my father...I've come to set it right...lets settle this like men...' Thor swings his hammer and Sydney slaps her hand against her head.

Laufey lifts his hand and the frozen giants attack.'You promised you wouldn't start a war!' Sydney shouts as she starts to fight them off one by one. She has a tough time keeping herself on her feet against the frost giants.

'Don't let them touch you!' Volgstagg yells.

Loki looses focus for a moment and one hand wraps around his arm, a frost giants arm. It turns blue and Loki gasps before looking to see if anyone saw.

His eyes lock with Sydney after he fights off the giant, it's sure she saw something. She doesn't get to wonder about it though, before she can even register it, she gets grabbed as well.

Her anger however serves her well, the heat radiating off of her burns the giant, it melts him like an icicle in the sun.   She falls down. But seeing that the frost giant has taken her up the mountain. It's quite the fall.

Everyone drops their weapons to try and catch her, but it doesn't matter, she hits the ground. Her body laying lifeless in the snow. 'Sydney...no...it's going to be alright...we will take you with us and I will use my magic...' Loki scoops her into his arms.

They minute they get back to Asgard, Loki rushes to his room with Sydney still in his arms. She's so cold. He lays her on the bed and runs his thumb down her cheek. 'Come on...is saw you turn into a torch on that field...'

'Bring back the fire...or give it your own...' Loki speaks, the first setting over her body to further protect her from harm. To freeze the process.

Loki feels sorrow washing over him, he distracted her, it's his fault she's laying there. But how could that thing grab her without her getting frostbite? and why did it suddenly melt?

'What's your secret Sydney?' Loki whispers looking at the now completely frozen body. Why did she suddenly turn into a torch?.

But before he tries to answer those questions about Sydney, he remembers the one huge question he has for Odin, why didn't he get burned?

Loki lets go of her hand and quickly rushes to the throne room to find his father. 'What am I?' He busts in.

'What do you mean son?' Odins nonchalant reply delights a fire within him, a fire formed with rage.

'Don't call me that!, what am I!' He commands.

'You're Laufey's boy...I found you...'

'So that's what I am... another stole relic? Saved for a rainy day?'

'I found you, abandoned...I couldn't leave you...so I saw an opportunity...to keep the peace...'

'Why didn't you tell me from the beginning! All these years I wondered why you would favour Thor over me!' Loki yells and Odin falls on the ground clutching his heart.

Loki's rage falters, he rushes to the man he used to call father. 'Someone help!' Loki shouts and the guards rush in at the commotion.
