I wrote a whole chapter and wattpad was just like fuck you Imma waste you're time but here you go: 

"People- they're looking for us. They know we're close."  She warned me

That explains what I saw just a moment ago. Where we were currently staying had a few houses and I suppose they caught us around here somewhere. Just as I was thinking I could hear faint steps. Then three knocks caught my attention. I looked over to Veronica. "Run and grab necessary things." She ran around grabbing stuff while I reached into my pockets grabbing the gun from my pocket.

"Open the door!" Someone shouted from the other side. I told Veronica to leave and I hid behind a corner near the door knowing they'd force it open. I heard a loud crash as the door fell to the floor and three men entered. I quickly shot one successfully and went to shoot the others but they dodged. One grabbed their own gun and aimed at me managing to make the bullet just scrape the side of my face. I was aiming perfectly at them, but as I went to shoot I realised there was no bullets. I had to get out of here. 

I sprinted away towards the other door into the back garden where I found Veronica. Grabbing her hand, we ran into a forest hiding in the many trees surrounding us
