Arius wanted to reveal to Sophie about his true identity but he can't. It's too risky. His mother sacrificed a lot to get the life they had now.He really really liked her. And she liked him too. Alas, it was forbidden and nearly impossible to be together.

Seraphina Iraine got on the carriage after saying goodbye to her grandmother and cousins. Her uncle will join her on the journey home, being her escort. She looked outside the window as the carriage drove past the town and village, until a certain blonde hair caught her eye. His eyes where gentle as he smiled. She clenched her teeth, biting back a tear.

"Are you alright, Sera?""Of course, uncle. Just can't wait to get back home,"

"Sera.." Marquis Jeremy Hasley, her uncle, called, "you can stay here as long as you want. There is no need to go back to the capital and face such people,"

Sera smiled,"It's okay. It's just a little misunderstanding from a few years ago. People just have a hard time understanding and accepting."

Jeremy knew she was definitely not okay. His niece has been battling a fight for a long time. A fight she shouldn't be facing. Being the center of attention in social gatherings must be tiring since people are always looking her way.

It was just a tiny weeny accident. So what happened?

It was during another tea party among noble children. The host was House Zarvier's second daughter, Daisy Zarvier. She invited all children from noble families in the capital.

The garden was decorated beautifully for the occasion. A round table stood amidst the many flowers planted and a shining lake could be seen from there.

They were normal kids having fun. Everything was normal until Daisy fell into the water. She almost drowned since she can't swim. She was only 12 at the time.

Daisy knew she can't swim, so why did she get too close anyway? Someone said that they saw Seraphina push Daisy into the lake. Of course Sera denied doing such a thing. Why would a 14 year old have a vicious thought like that?

"Seraphina must be jealous of poor Daisy when she saw all the attention go to Daisy and her new necklace!" The witness exclaimed.

Sera's face went sour. She should've known. This witness had always been bitter towards House Irain. Both of them were the same age, but Abigail Ratchford always had the shorter end of the stick. When the chance to bring Sera down came, Abigail gladly took it.

Abigail accused Sera being jealous of Daisy. And thus pushing her down.

Sera tried explaining the truth but nobody believed her. Sera, overwhelmed with anger, 'attacked' Abigail. That made it clear to everyone that Sera was indeed evil. Everyone started to avoid her. Daisy, on the other hand, stuck to Sera for the rest of her life.

Daisy too tried to explain Sera's innocence. Of course everybody brushed it off, saying she was too kind to help the culprit.

And so, that was how Daisy became Sera's dearest friend. And how Sera became hated by society.

Like I said, it was a tiny accident. But Abigail had a talent of twisting words and turning events to her favor.

Daisy never hosted parties since that day. And The Ratchford family never received any invitations of any kind from House Zarvier either.

"Daddy, take me outside." Lucy stared at her father." I'm busy. Go play with you siblings." Lucas waved her off."No you're not! Theia and Ari said the same thing too." She crossed her arms and pouted. "Daddy doesn't like me either. Then I'll just stay bored and die of boredom later.

"Sigh, what do you want?" Lucas finally gave in."Take me out! Take me out!" Lucy exclaimed in excitement.

The father daughter duo went to the market to go sightseeing. Lucy didn't really want anything. She just wanted to go out and relieve herself of boredom. Lucas thinks that it's actually good to spend some time with his daughter. He plans to do this more. And I wish him goodluck, you rejected your daughter, she can reject you too.

"I haven't seen your siblings anywhere. Where did they go?" Lucas asked Lucy.

"There are a few possible scenarios. Arius might be hanging out with his friends. Or he could be surrounded by girls right now. Or he might be somewhere alone comforting himself of a broken heart. Theia is —"" Hold on" her father cut her off. "Heart break?"

"Details later," Lucy continued nonchalantly. "Anyway, Theia is most likely making fun of Ari. She can be with her girlfriends right now. Or Ari's friends are treating her to cake while asking her to spill the tea. Or the other way around. Except Theia threatens not ask. I think that's it,"

Lucas gave his daughter another bar of chocolate. He lifted her up to avoid a puddle, setting her down after."Now details about Arius please. And tell me where you get the info."

"Theia told me. She knows everything. Sometimes her talks are boring but sometimes they're really good. Poor her. She only has me to ramble to."

Lucy handed the wrapper to Lucas.

"Well, about Arius. From what I heard, he got a crush on a girl and the feeling's mutual. Finally he has interest in love. Too bad she was only here for a holiday. They can't meet anymore. The girl said no to long distance relationship. It was too hard she said. He agreed. But they had hope though. Arius is now sad. His first love gone just like that. How heart breaking. Everything was Theia's words, not mine." Lucy explained while eating said bar of chocolate.

"How interesting. Who knew that boy would actually fall in love." Lucas said.

"I know! That's what everyone was saying!" She giggled.

Both of them returned home knowing they had something new to tease Arius with.
