Chapter 11-Yashiro's pov

"Guess what today is!!" I say to Hanako all smiley and excited. He giggles, "what?""It's New Year's Eve! We gotta stay up, eat Chinese food and have fun!!!" New Years is one of my favourite holidays, it gives me an excuse to stay up and do fun stuff all night."Are we going to celebrate with Tsuchigomori and everyone else or just us?" He asked me."I think we should hang out with them! It'll be fun!""Okay! But first we need to invite them!""I'll make invitations!"I found a bunch of paper and started writing invites and told the mokke to go and deliver them. "Next we need to make decorations, where are we going to put them?" Hanako says."Hmm... oh I know let's have our party in drama room with the stage!""Good idea!" We made gold streamers, blew up balloons, put up tables for the food with gold table cloths on top."Here, I'll make a timer." Hanako moved his hand then bam! There was a floating timer until midnight. Hanako went to attempt to make Chinese food while I found a dress to wear.It was a short white dress with a v neck. It had teal butterflies all over the skirt. She loved how it twirled and how it looked on her. She also picked out a grey suit for Hanako and had to go find him to get him to try it on.-skip to about 6-We were at the drama room making the finishing touches as everyone started showing up. We invited the mokke, Tsuchigomori, misaki, shijimia san and that was it. Hanako didn't want to invite Tsukasa for obvious reasons but the party was really fun.We ate Hanako's attempt at Chinese food, the chicken balls and rice weren't bad, just a note to self to never let Hanako make soup again. After we ate we listened to music and danced.Hanako walked up to me as I was sitting on one of the chairs talking to misaki, "Wanna dance with me?" He asked holding out his hand. He looked amazing in the suit like some fancy prince, he looked even better without his hat on. "Sure, I would love to!"I grabbed his hand and we danced together for hours, laughed and fooled around since neither one of us could dance. As it came closer to midnight, everyone calmed things down, we all sat and drank punch. We talked about how's things were going with everyone. I convinced everybody to play twister with me. It was so much fun."Look! It's almost midnight!" Shijimia san said pointing to the timer. The timer read the time 11:55. Everybody got ready to countdown as there were a few seconds until the new year, Hanako and I held hands and everyone started counting."5""4""3""2""1!!!""Happy new year!!!!" We all yelled.I turned to Hanako and we kissed as confetti was being shot and thrown around the room. He held me tight while we were kissing, never wanting to let me go."Hey love birds! Come on, I made cookies!" Misaki said giggling.It was the best New Years ever.
