5. Sad news

HA NA POV

Jimin had landed us with a detention so now we're all here, standing outside the detention room, waiting for the teacher who takes detention to actually show up so we can enter the room.

The teacher finally decided to show his face and let us into the classroom,

"Ha Na?""Here,""Jungkook?""Here,""Namjoon?""Here,""Jimin?""Here,""Taehyung?""Here,""Min Yoongi?""Here,""Hoseok?""Here,""Jin?""Here,""Ji Hee?""Here,"

We were all standing at the front of the classroom waiting to be put into seats. Everyone got paired and it was Jin and V, Jungkook and Suga, J-Hope and RapMonster, Jimin and Ji Hee, and me by myself.

I didn't really care because atleast I wouldn't have any distractions from an annoying human being beside me. The teacher then told us to get on with any HomeWork we had and I began to do the maths.

"I have to quickly run to the staff room for 2 minutes, please behave and I expect silence when I get back," The teacher announced and with that he dashed out of the classroom, 'Wtf," I mumbled, confused as to why he ran out.

"Mr Roo is going to get SoME!" Jimin shouted.

I have to admit, it was pretty funny the way he made his voice at the end. Everyone stopped laughing and was having a quiet conversation with the person beside them, but I couldn't help but take my eyes off of Jimin. He was at the desk beside me and every once in a while he would turn and we would make eye contact for a split second, then blush like mad and turn away.

Jimin is pretty nice looking, I'm not lying, but he's not the best,

Detention finally ended and I went straight home to sleep. I didn't have any home work to worry about so that was a plus.

I woke up and got ready. When I went downstairs I found a note stuck to the fridge, it was from my mum and dad.

We've been called overseas for work purposes, there is food in the cupboards but we will be away for a little over 3 months so there is money and a credit card under the plant pot beside the tv. Don't spend the money on stupid things but rather stuff for you and your brother to eat,

Remember we love you and call us if anything happens,

I just sighed, this isn't the first time they've done something like this so I know what to do. I made breakfast as it was early and I woke up my brother, he's 13 so he knows how to take care of himself well enough.

"JIN SOO! BREAKFAST!" I shouted,

"COMING!" And he came running down the stairs, when he came and sat down at the table I gave him the spare key, "Mum and Dad have went overseas again, so, here's the spare key, I have to go to school now so make sure you lock the door when you leave," I then hugged him and left.

Even though he's my younger brother and we fight like cats and dogs, I still love him and I know that he hates when Mum and Dad leave like that just as much as I do.

I finally got to school just in time. As soon as I sat down, the teacher came in,

"Ok class, we will be having a group project," Everyone started to pick groups,

"I will be picking the groups!" He announced, everyone just groaned and sat back down.

"First group is Ha Na, Jimin, Jungkook, Hoseok and Namjoon," He said, Ji Hee and I looked at each other and began to fake cry and try to reach each other, the boys just started to chuckle.

"Next group is Ji Hee, Min Yoongi, Jin and Taehyung," She just smiled at Jin and they all went and sat at a table getting ready to see what the project was about.

My group and I went and got a free table and sat down, they teacher assigned the other groups and wrote the topics on a piece of paper and ushered for the group leader, which was me, to come and pick a piece of paper.

I walked up and lazily put my hand into the bag the pieces of mixed up paper was in, I picked out a piece of paper and my eyes lit up as I read what was on the paper, "Well, Ha Na, what's yours?" The teacher asked me, "K-Pop groups and backgrounds," I told my history teacher.

I heard a few luckies and a few 'I wanted that one,' but I happily walked back to the table and sat down with a smile.

"You look happy," Rap Monster smiled at me, "I am," I smiled again,

JIMIN POV

She looks so cute when she smiles. No Jimin! I can't start to like her,

"So who's house are we working at?" I asked while leaning back and putting my feet up on the desk, "We can work at mine, my parents left for 3 months early this morning so it's only my brother and I," Ha Na said,

"Sure," I said,

"So it's settled, let's all work at Ha Na's" J-Hope said and we all began to discuss what groups to do it on,

"Let's do it on Big Bang, Black Pink and Got7!" Ha Na offered, "Yeah!" Jungkook started, "I love Big Bang!" He finished, "No way!" Ha Na looked at him with wide eyes and the biggest smile,

"Yes!" Jungkook took her hands and they started to silent scream while shaking each other's hand.

We all just laughed at them then got back to work discussing and in no time it was time to leave that class. The day went on like usual and it was time to go back to Ha Na's to work on this project,

We decided to do a booklet and power point rather than just a boring poster, we all got assigned different jobs while walking to Ha Na's, it would be Jungkook working on the power point, J-Hope and I working on the booklet, Rap Monster doing the poster and Ha Na cooking food, she told us when she was finished making the food she was going to help Jungkook.

When we finally reached her house she unlocked the door and let us in. She didn't have a big house but she didn't have a small house either, it was just an average house. The boys and I had Rich families so we weren't used to such small spaces, her living room and Kitchen put together would probably be about half of my Living room.

We decided to work in the living room, "I'm just going to check if my brother is in the games room," She told us and walked off.

"Her house is so small," Jungkook said while looking around, "It's not small, we just have big houses," I told him, "Yeah, you're right," J-Hope said and we all ended up going over to the cabinet and looking at all of the family photos her family had.

It wasn't in a creepy way, rather just us wanting to see what her family was like. I seen a photo from when Ha Na was around 5 or 6 and her brother was a baby, she was happily holding him, but as the photos grew to recent years the smiles on her and her brothers faces started to fade smaller and smaller until, in some photos, the smiles were non existent.

The boys and I looked at them confused, "Why did they stop smiling?" Jungkook asked us, "As if we know," I told him and looked away, "Let's stop looking at these," I told them and dragged them away, we went and sat on the floor when Jungkook spotted something on top of the coffe table,

It was crumbled up letters. And lots of them. We just grabbed a few and opened them to as flat as we could get them, when I read what was in the inside I started to understand why her brother and her stopped smiling,

It was lots of letters and notes from her Mum and Dad saying they were leaving for a few weeks and sometimes, like this time, months at a time.

"What the hell?" Rap Monster asked, but as he said that Ha Na came back in, "Sorry about those," She said as she saw us looking at what we were reading, she gathered up all of the notes and letter and threw them out,

"Is your Mum and Dad always away?" Jungkook asked, "Most of the time," She told us, "But less about me, let's get started, I'll go make the food," She clapped her hands and smiled at us and made her way into the kitchen,

"Weird child," J-Hope muttered and giggled while shaking his head and got to work,

Around half an hour had past and Ha Na came in with Pizza and chips, "Food is served," She set 5 out of 6 of the plates down, "I'm just going to give my brother his dinner, 2 seconds," And she made her way up the stairs.

"I feel really bad for her," J-Hope said while eating his pizza, "I think we all do," I told him,

"Huh? Jimin feels bad? For a girl?" Jungkook nudged me, "Shut up," I told him and punched his arm lightly.

Ha Na came back down and we sat and ate our food, when we finished Ha Na brought our plates into the kitchen then came back and started to help Jungkook with the power point.

About 3 hours had passed and we all decided to head home.

"Thanks for having us," We all said and as we were leaving J-Hope, Rap Monster and Jungkook gave her separate hugs, I just nodded at her and she bowed at us, "Thanks for coming over," She then closed the door.

"What a nice girl," Jungkook said, "Her future husband will be very lucky," Rap Monster said as we walked down the street, 'I know I'll be lucky,' I thought to myself,

"What was that?" Jungkook asked me, I must have mumbled it, "Oh, Nothing," I told him and we all walked out separate ways back to our houses.

HA NA POV

As soon as the boys left I got a phone call, "Hello, is this Miss Ha Na?" The man on the other side of the phone asked, "Yes, it is," I told him.

"Miss, I'm very sorry to have to give you this news over phone," He's starting to scare me, "I'm very sorry but your Mum and Dad have sadly lost their lives in a plane crash,"

I froze, this can't be happening, it can't be, "Miss? Miss? Are you still there?" The man asked, "Yes, um thank you, bye," I ended the call and fell onto my knees.

"No!" I screamed and started to sob, "Ha Na?" Jin Soo came down and sat beside me, "They're gone," That was all I could say to him, "Who is?" Jin Soo asked me worried, "Mum and Dad," I told him, "Oh Ha Na," He then started to cry aswell,

I held him in my arms and we both just sat on the floor crying. I started to get up,

"Let's go to bed," I told him after a while, "Ok," He rubbed his eyes and sniffled.

"Let's not go to school tomorrow," I told him and he finally managed a small smile, "Thank you," He hugged me and made his way into his room.

'I need to take care of him now, this is going to be so hard with no help,'
