Part 61

Christine's POV

I woke up from a good dream. It was peaceful and calm and it soothed me. I later then realized I was in his arms which is why I had a good sleep. Jungkook's arm became my pillow as I rested my arm around him. He was lying sidewards facing me. He smiled as he brushed some stray hair away from my face.

"Goodmorning sunshine" He said softly, looking straight into my eyes, making my heart melt.

"Why are you up so early?" I smiled at him

"Nothing.." he said half smiling

"Did you even sleep?" I asked now curious. His eyes grew wide for a second before nodding with his eyes closed.

"Ofcourse I did. I slept peacefully."

I was about to protest when we heard a knock from outside my door.

"Yah, are you guys clothed? Can I come in?" Oppa asked from outside.

"What the hell hyung. Ofcourse we are." Jungkook hissed and Oppa came in smiling.

"I'm kidding. Even if you didn't answer, I'd go in and if I see my sister unclothed, I swear you won't see the next sunrise" He told Jungkook.

"Hey.. How are you feeling Tinnie ah?" Oppa said as he sat on my side of the bed.

"I'm good.. Oppa.. Are you still mad for what I did yesterday?" I asked looking down as I played with my fingers.

"The slapping incident?" he asked and I flinched. I didn't really want to remember it. I feel so shameful right now.

"Tinnie ah..." oppa said softly, taking my hand in his.

"Slapping someone is never right no matter what reason you had. Even if she was my umma or not, I'd be mad." he said and I nodded biting my lip.

"But hyung she just-" Jungkook tried to protest when oppa raised his hand to stop him from saying any more.

"Jungkook can you leave us first?" Oppa asked. I looked at Jungkook and he looked at me.

"I'll just have a talk with her. You go eat your breakfast. Jin prepared it for today."

Jungkook then looked at oppa who looked back at him. Jungkook looked at me then sighed as he went outside.

"I'm sorry oppa.." I said bowed down

"Ani.. I'm sorry Tinnie ah.. I sent money to umma and said that if that's all they want, they shouldn't contact me ever again. I wanted to be proven wrong.. I want to prove you wrong.. I was waiting for a call from her but nothing came.. You were telling the truth but my better judgment got clouded.. Maybe I just missed umma that much and Oppa's really sorry. Ever since appa left.. She never became the umma I once knew.. I lost her the same time I lost appa." He said in tears. I wiped his tears as mine flew freely. He took me in his embrace and I hugged him back.

"You're all I have Tinnie ah.. Promise me that we'll get through this.. You'll be okay.. Okay?" he whispered as he cried.

"Shh. I won't leave without a fight. I'll get better oppa. You won't be alone okay? You're all I have too." I whispered shakily as I hug him tight.

We let go and smiled at eachother before we went out to have our breakfast.

"Goodmorning!" Jin came towards me to hug me and I returned it. "I prepared the breakfast this morning. It's better. After all. Teacher's more experienced than my student. Right?" He said nudging oppa who just glared at him

"Lets eat lets eat." I said dragging both of them to the table as I sat in between them. The others were still sound asleep. Jungkook sat opposite to Oppa and I just gave him a smile. He looks tired. Omona. Ottuke?

-Lunch-

Jungkook's been sleeping in class and has been caught thrice already. Why is he so sleepy?

I walked up to his desk and got the normal glares I usually get. Well as long as they don't lay their fingers on me..

"Kookie yah" I said as I shook him softly.

"Hmmm?" He asked sleepily.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Hmmm..." He answered.

"Hey are you going?" Jaebum asked me, waiting for me to leave with him to the rooftop.

I looked at the tired Jungkook then back to Jaebum.

"I'm staying." I smiled at him. He understood and gave me a nod and a smile before leaving.

I took the empty chair beside Jungkook and placed it on the side of his table. I sat and played with my phone. I felt my stomach grumble alittle which startled me.

"Hey, Jagi" I leaned in to whisper in his ears as he sleeps. "I'll just buy a drink and I'll be back okay?" I said softly and he nodded with a smile before snoring softly.

I giggled and stood up to walk to the vending machine near the canteen.

"Hmm. Mt Dew or Mango juice?" I asked myself outloud.

"How bout some hate juice? We'll be glad to give you a taste of it." I turned around and saw Jungkook's fangirls with the girl who grabbed my collar leading them. They were 5 and they had smug look on their face.

"Happy that I'm alone?" I asked as my hand balled into fist.

"Maybe?" She chuckled. "Who are you without our oppa now huh?"

Our oppa? Who's is Jungkook again? Last time I checked, he's mine. I was about to open my mouth to talk back when someone did it before me.

"Min Christine's with us. Back off bitches." I heard someone say behind me. I looked back and saw Yuri with her group stepping up putting me behind them.

"But we're on your side Yuri nim! We don't want her with Jungkook oppa too!" She whined.

"Touch her, you'll be facing me. You understand?" She said having atleast a centimeter away from the face of the girl.

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" She shouted which made the other girls flinch.

"N.ne." They said as they walked away briskly.

What was happening? I got startled when they all faced me. I held the end of my skirt as they took a step towards me. I didn't take a step back but I let go of my skirt and faced them with my chin held high.

"You shooed them away so you could have my by yourselves?" I asked

"No. We're here to apologize.." She said bowed down.

What?

"Yah." She hissed over her shoulder

"M.mianhamnida Christine ssi" they all said in sync.

"What?" I asked. "Okay no offense but I'm really lost here." I said

"I saw you in the hospital." Yuri said and I froze.

"Look. I've been through the same case as you. Maybe not exactly but I know what it feels like to fight it alone." She said as she took a step towards me.

"Please don't tell Jungkook.. Please let me be the one.." I said shaking. She looked pained but she nodded anyways.

"Alright.." she said as she took my hand and squeezed it. She whispered something which sounded like a sorry? Then she smiled weakly before walking away.

I looked to the way where they were walking ahead. She looked back and smiled. I smiled back as a tear fall out of my eye.

We went our separate ways and I found Jungkook who was stretching and yawning like he just woke up.

"So you're up now?" I asked sitting on the chair I placed near him.

"Mm." He smiled resting his chin on his folded arms that were resting on his table, looking at me with his child-like eyes.

"What?" I asked suddenly getting self conscious with him staring at me.

"Why are you so beautiful? Ahhhh I have such a great taste with girls." He said complimenting himself.

"Bwoh?" I said laughing and he just laughed a little as he smiled, showing off his perfectly white teeth.

"You don't wanna eat?" I asked

"Come on. Let's get something to eat." He stood up as he took my hand and we were walking to the canteen.

As soon as we got there, I felt all eyes on us. Was it because we were holding hands or was it because it's Jungkook?

"Hey! Haven't seen you in the canteen for awhile!" Jinki walked up to us smiling.

"Annyeong dongsaengie!" He said ruffling Jungkook's hair.

"Annyeong Jinki Sunbae" he bowed and smiled politely.

"Forgot my lunch." I said heading off to the food lane.

"Ahh. Well where do you plan to eat? There's always space for guys." Jinki offered and I smiled.

"Thank-you, Jinki but we're eating where there's less people.." I said bowing.

"It's alright. Still scared of people I see" he chuckled as he ruffled my bangs. "Well see you around guys!" He cheered before he walked to his table. Still the cheerful Lee Jinki I know. I smiled and we paid for our food before walking up to the rooftop where the others were.

"Why were you late? We're almost doneeeeeee" Jongin whined.

"Mian. It's fine. It's just sandwich and we have half an hour left." I said shrugging, sitting down beside Jongin as Jungkook sat beside Jaebum.

We laughed and chitchat. They were all smiling and I couldn't even bring up my condition. They have to know either way but I can't break their smiles. It's breaking me right now. How do I tell them?

"Yeah, something wrong?" Jongin said nudging me softly

"Oh?"

"Don't you dare hide something from me, Min Christine. Fool everyone but you can't fool me. I grew up with you." He said now facing me. Shit Jongin. Not now please.

"Want some sandwich?" I said stuffing my sandwich in his mouth.

"Yahgafkagfehfe" he said something but it's not understandable since his mouth is full.

Jaebum and Jungkook laughed as I stood up, running away from Jongin who was already on his feet to chase me around.

"Let's go home.." I said tiredly to Jungkook as we were walking down the hallway

"Jungkook please take care of her." Sungmi said worried.

"Hey. Stop worrying yourself. I'm alright. Just tired.." I said relaxing her.

"Text her if something's wrong alright?" Sungmi said referring to Jiyoon umma.

"I'll take care of her." Jungkook said placing his hand on my lower back. "Give me your bag" he said.

"I'm good." I said refusing his command.

"Give me-"

"No."

"Give-"

"No."

"Aish! Stop it guys. It's just the bag." Sungmi said smiling at us.

"Stupid couple." Jongin said behind us with Jaebum beside him.

"Shut up ahjussi!" I hissed and they chuckled.

We all walked home since we're all going the same way anyways. Everyone was having a good chit chat.

"So you're living with Christine now?" Jaebum said after a few random topic passed by

"Technically. The whole bangtan crashed in their house." he shrugged.

"What?! Can EXO crash in too?" Jongin asked

"How bout Got7?!" Jaebum perked up.

"26 guys in one small house against one poor girl? Come on. Give me a break. Not all at the same time please." I said with my hands up in defeat as if I'm being taken away by the police.

"Are we that much to handle?" Jongin pouted.

"Trust me. All of you? I've seen enough off stage videos of everyone. Even this 7 idiots are 10 times more livelier in the house than in their bangtan bombs and rookie king episodes."

"Hey are we that bad?" Jungkook then defended his group

"Ofcourse you are." I joked.

"Yaaahhh" He whined and I smiled.

"What am I to do? That's your group and my brother's. Ofcourse I gotta love em. Beside it's not that hard to do." I smiled at him and pinched his nose.

"Aww baby kookie's being pinched by Christine ah" Jongin teased as Jaebum elbowed me smiling

They all teased the poor Jungkook when I decided to be blunt about something I never thought I'd say.

"Hey what would you guys do if I tell you I have cancer?" I asked plainly as we walked but everyone froze in their places. I continued walking when I noticed I was walking alone now. I looked back and everyone looked at me surprised, frozen and speechless. The happiness and laughter they had awhile ago faded in a blink of an eye.

"Y.y.you.." Jaebum started

"You say what?!" Jongin asked wide eyed.

Okay, I take it back. I don't want to tell them yet.
