Part 28

Christine's POV

We went home in one line with their arms wrapped around my shoulder as I held onto their waist. We were walking like that on the way home, avoiding the feet of those beside us. We'd stumble but we'll catch eachother. And it's comforting knowing that this idiots, no matter what happens, will always catch everyone when they fall.

"We're hoooooome" I sang as we got inside.

"Anyone hungry?" Jin asked then everyone held their stomachs as if they were feeling if they were.

"Mhm. Mine's grumbling." V said

"I'll prepare dinner" Jin said

"I'll help!" I beamed. I'm in a good mood.

"Me too!" J-Hope volunteered.

"I wanna help too!" Jimin said and in the end everyone was in the kitchen with their own business.

..

"Yaaah!" Jungkook said followed by V and Jimin's uncontrollable laughter. We found Jungkook with soy sauce on his shirt with scrunched up nose, not liking the smell of what's on him.

"Pa..pabo!" V said inbetween his laughter

"Aiiiiish! Kids if you're gonna play then just set up the table and leave the kitchen!" Jin said. The maknae line became quiet and gathered the plates to fix the table.

"I'll go shower. I stink." Jungkook said sounding upset.

"Yeah you do." Jimin choked a laugh.

"Yah!" Jungkook warned him but Jimin just smiled sweetly before Jungkook walked away.

...

"So are you sure?" Suga oppa said again for the nth time trying to make me go with them.

"I'll be fine oppa." I said for the nth time as well.

"I remember when Hannah came with us, it was a riot when the fans knew Jimin was dating her." RM reminisced.

"Although she was around everyone." J-Hope chuckled.

"She's like the mom of the group. She takes care of us, gives us lunch and makes sure everyone ate properly." Jungkook commented

"She was everyone's friend. She's lively." Suga oppa said

"Why don't you ask her to join you?" I asked them

"We did." V said

"But she couldn't. She has some business here too." Jimin finished.

"But I want to be with Christiinee" Jin whined.

"Next time. I promised already" I smiled at him.

Hannah unnie was really pretty friendly. It's in her nature. Jimin did tell me about her being kind and thoughtful which made him fall for her. I noticed V smiling as the members reminisced about her.. Jimin was right. He liked her... I should hang out with unnie when they're gone.

My phone vibrated and I found a text.

Please tell me you're on your way.

"OH SH-" I said suddenly standing up and rushing to my room. I changed into my black skinny jeans and white hoodie. I went out hurriedly as the boys stared at me.

"Omo mianhe... I forgot I have to meet someone by the park." I told them

"Oppa I'll be back" I said as I wore my doll shoes and ran to the park with just my phone in my pocket.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING?!" Suga oppa shouted for me to hear by the door.

"MIANHE. FETCH ME BY THE PARK IF YOU WANT. I'LL TEXT YOU WHAT TIME. I'LL JUST CATCH UP WITH JAEBUM ALRIGHT? I LOVE YOU GUYS!" I shouted as I ran.

I can imagine Suga oppa shaking his head 'aish this kid.' He thought.

...

I got to the park by 9:10pm but didn't see Jaebum anywhere? Oh come on. I was just 10 minutes late. Or was he late too? But he texted me. -.- Aish this kid!

I sat by the bench and found a note.

Roam around the park and see what you find (:

I roamed the park where we first met when he was being bullied.. I went to the sand box and saw a picture of us three, me crying in between them when the castles infront of us, mine was the only one broken. I giggled at the memory..

~flashback~

"Aww don't cryyy" Jaebum said teasingly as Kai just laughed his butt off.

"I..its unfair!!!!!" I whined as I cried some more

~end of flashback~

I looked at the swing and the sand below it said

To infinity and beyond!

~flashback~

"Push me up!" I said excitedly

"Jaebum, push her" Kai said

"But why only me??" Jaebum whined

"Hey hey both of you are the guys right? Help the girl here pleaseeeee" I said and they did as I pleaded.

"Yiipiee! Higher!" I said excitedly as their pushes were getting stronger.

"To infinityy-" Jaebum said as he pushed me

"And beyond!!" Kai finished after pushing me as hard as he can and I did feel like I was flying. Best swing ride ever!

~end flashback~

Suddenly I heard someone screamed.

"Help!" A voice of a guy echoed. I looked back to see Jaebum all curled up as if he was terrified of something infront of him although nothing was seen.

"Hey, ride along with my acting." He pouted and then continued acting scared. I shook my head and went towards him and bent over.

"Are you hurt?" I asked him, replaying the moment when we met.

"A..ani." He said stupidly which made me laugh.

"Yah stop this." I said as I hand over my hand for him to hold and pull him up.

"I missed you, Min Christine" he smiled at me as he towered over me.

"You really grew." I said ruffling his hair.

"I missed you too." I smiled

He smiled as he enclosed me in his arms. After awhile, we sat on the bench and talked about the past two years he was in US. He studied there and his family fixed their issue already. He now debuted here which gave him an excuse to stay in Korea and be with me and Kai.

I told him now about my complicated life ever since my mom died. He was surprised about the turn of events how I had a brother. He hugged me as he silently cried.

"What? Is my story worth entering the film festival?" I joked.

"Don't be sad. I've gotten stronger through the past events. And no matter what, I know I won't be alone anymore." I smiled at him comfortingly and he returned it.

"You've always been a tough and strong girl Christine noona." He smiled at me.

"Have I?" I chuckled

"The day I fell for you was the day you protected me." He stated and I was surprised.

"You thought I was kidding? I meant it when I said I'll marry you when we're in our legal age." He chuckled.

~flashback~

"So this is it?" I said crying in Kai's arms

"Don't cry. I'll be back. I promise." Jaebum said as he stepped forward to wipe my tears. We were in the airport sending him off with Kai's parents.

"Why do you have to gooo!!!?!?!" I cried louder holding onto his shirt. Kai's hand supported me as I threw my tantrums.

"Yah Christine.. Don't make this hard for Jaebum" Kai whispered.

"Hey, I'll be back. And when I get back, I'll marry you arrasso?!" Jaebum exclaimed.

"PABO! I just want you back I don't want marriage!!" I shouted as I cry

"Aish this kid! What are you saying yah!" Kai said

"Just you wait!" Jaebum said running after his mom who was about to board.

"Bye Christine, bye Jongin!! See youuu!" He waved happily before disappearing from our view.

~end of flashback~

"Ahaha what are you saying" I laughed awkwardly brushing off whatever he just said.

"What's wrong? Do you have someone you like already? Am I perhaps.. Too late?" He asked

I remained quiet, avoiding his gaze.

"Look at me." He said

"No." I refused. But he cupped my face and made me face him. His eyes softened as my eyes were tearing up.

"Hey what's wrong?" He asked

"I.. You.. Dont leave.. Sorry.." I muttered holding my tears back. He suddenly hugged me.

"I love you even if it hurts. I won't leave your side. Even if you can't return my feelings, I still won't leave. Don't worry about stupid things, arrasso?" He said rocking me slightly as he comforted me.

"I'm sorry.." I whispered.

"Don't be. It just happens that if you love someone, you'll want them happy.. Even if it means that you'll be hurting.." He said as he looked up the skies.

...

"Well it was nice hanging out with you again little noona" he said as we stopped infront of my house.

"Mm. Thanks for tonight" I smiled at him

"Don't give me a sad smile you punk." He said messing with my face, squishing it like it was a stuff toy.

"Yah!" I screamed as I hit his hand off of me as I laughed.

"That's better" he smiled at me.

"Take care alright?" I said

"Mm. Go in.. I'll go as soon as you're inside." He said

"Okay. Goodnight." I said as I skipped off to the door. I waved one last time before going inside.

Everyone's already asleep in the living room so I crept up to my room quietly but was surprised to see Suga oppa sitting on my bed fiddling with his phone.

"Oh. You're home" he said looking at me.

"Mm I'm home" I said

"What time is it?" He asked as I looked at my watch.

"Uhmm. 11:55" I said

"This is the last time you're going out this late without us. Arrasso?" He said strictly.

"Ne. Chosohamnida." I bowed my head. Soon enough he patted my head and I looked up at him.

"Get some rest. Let's bond tomorrow after your class before we leave." He smiled slightly

"Arrasso. I love you oppa." I said. He was surprised and I noticed him blush alittle before messing with my hair.

"Go to bed kiddo." He said and he left.

He's still shy. I chuckled. But as I remove my socks, I lie on my bed as I thought about everything and anything.

I remember my childhood memories as I spent my time with Jaebum. When he said he'll marry me when we were kids.. I thought it was a childish joke.. I never thought he liked me all this time..omona....

Somehow my worries over Hannah unnie lessened. I mean, she never did anything but to be kind to me. Oh and tomorrow they'll leave.. I'll surely be lonely having this house quiet again.. But they'll be back soon. I hope time flies quick.

Suddenly my phone alarmed with my message alert tone.

Goodnight~ sweet dreams my jagiya~

I replied with a smile.

"Yah! Since when did you call me Jagiya? XD go rest now. We still have classes tomorrow."

In the end, I ended up texting Jungkook til 4am even if he was just outside. We talked until we couldn't reply as our eye lids were heavy. Too heavy to keep open.

I woke up to his last text for me before he went to sleep

You must be sleeping now since it's really late.. I'm sorry for keeping you up but you just really make me want to be with you always. I'll miss you when we leave. I'll see you later~ goodnight Jagi. Saranghae.

My heart fluttred everytime he said Saranghae. He says it once in a blue moon.. But when he does.. My heart never fails to explode.
