Chapter 12

Hailey's Pov

"So, let me guess. Your corpsicle thought that by taking you up the mountains this high wouldn't affect you??" I asked as I walked into Bella and Edward's tent.

Im dressed up in a pair of white shorts and a white tank crop shirt. Yeah, Im immune to the cold.

"Why arent you cold??" Edward asked and then I went inside his head. "Why isn't she cold?? Is she trying to act tough?? "Youre actually pathetic Edmund. Im immune to the cold and heat if you dont remember." I said and then made Jake come here.

He still hasn't talk except for saying short sentences, like hi or ok. He even hardly talk to Bella even though they're together. I then hand made a small bulb that contains heat and place it in Bella's hand.

"That'll help with the cold. Lets go Jake" Jake then followed me and we both got into our tents and sleep.

When morning comes, I got out of bed and made sure to check on Jake incase if he doesn't wanna be here but he insisted.

To be honest, I like all the Cullens, all except Edward himself. I then changed into my fairy form, purple wings appear and then I flew down to where the others are.

"Hows Jacob??" Sam asked as I got to their hiding spot. "Hes doing ok. But are you sure to leave Seth with him??" I asked as I hugged him. "You said that you put a protection shield around those two idiots but not on Bella. Why??" He asked.

"Babe, seriously??. We're talking about the girl who's fault that made Annie died. I dont care if she's human or not and also she's not gonna be human soon. Why would I protect her, she has her corpsicle with her." I said with a shrug.

"Ok, maybe you got a point." I gave him a 'really?' look and he just gave me a cheeky smile.

"Lilly, its about to start"x I heard Rosalie said from the clearing. "Welp, as much I love to sit here and stay with you. We have some vampire's butt to kick." Sam just smile and gave me a peck on the lips and then he and the boys all phased while I made my wings appear again and then I got into the pack's telepathic conversation.

'Seth are you ok??'

"Yeah, still no sign of Victoria's boyfriend."

"Ok guys, remember, try not to get yourselves hurt."

I was flying up high in case someone gets hurt. I then saw Alice struggling with three vampires. I speed down there and touched each of their skins, burning them in process. "Thanks" I nodded then helped out with the rest by simple just touching them, making them feel pain.

We all grabbed the body pieces of all the vampires, put them in a pile and then burn them. "What happened with Riley??" I asked Jake as I see him. "Hes dead along with his new girl toy, something Viola. I dont know." I just nodded and then we all stand around.

"Thank you Sam and Hailey for your help" Carlisle said, me and Sam both nodded. "What happened to her??" I heard Embry asked as he points at a unfamiliar girl who looks like shes 13 or so.

"We spared her since she gave up" Esme said and I walked closer to the girl. "Hi, Im Hailey. Whats your name??" I asked as I stood in front of her, getting down to her height.

"Im Brie. I didn't ask for any of this. I just wanna be human again." She said as she dry sobbed. "Well, why dont you come with me and I'll help you??" She then perked up as I said to help her.

"Really??" I nodded and then stood up to my full height and held out my hand. "We'll take care of her." Esme nodded and we all turn to Alice who gasped. "The Volturis. They're coming. You guys must go. They wont allow a truce with the pack" She said rapidly.

"Lets go." I then snapped my fingers and all of us appeared back at the house. "What are you gonna do with her??" Embry asked as I gave her a cup of animal blood.

"Change her of course. She's gonna be like Catherine but this time, she's gonna be half mermaid." I gave another cup of animal blood to Brie. She mustve been starving.

I then felt the presence of my mum and my other older brother Francis and I rushed outside. "Aww, I thought the baby's here" I said with a pout as I see my mum's big stomach.

"Aww, don't be so sad darling. She'll be here soon." I then turn to my brother who has focused on his phone. Ohh dear. I knew it was a bad idea for him to have a phone. He stays with my dad on land but sometimes stays underwater with mum.

"Well where is she??" Mum asked and I turned around and pulled Brie who had a nervous look on her face. "Ma, this is Brie. Brie, this is my mum Queen Atlanta." I said with a smirk since my mum hates it if I say that out loud to others.

The four of us then walked to the basement, making sure to lock the door and we made Brie settle down on the table.

"What's gonna happen??" She asked with nervousness. "You said you don't want to be a vampire. We're making you one of us. Except that maybe you'll be half vampire, half mermaid." My mum explained.

"That's that really work??" We all chuckled and nodded. "Its gonna hurt really bad. Worse than when you change from human to a vampire. After that, it'll be like you felt nothing." Francine said.

"What will you do??" Brie asked again. "My brother and I will be carving a tattoo around your waist. It'll be a tattoo of two bands. Which represents the part where your tail will be tranformed. From your waist to your feet. My mum will be carving another tattoo onto your shoulder, it'll be a sea lion fish. That's where it'll help you breathe underwater." I explained which she nodded.

"Ok children. Lets begin" Me and Francis both nodded and took our place.

-----------------------Jacob's Pov

How will I ever be normal again?? I mean I havent been myself since the day Annie died. The pack and everyone that knows of Annie's death never forgive me for all the things I've said to her.

I didn't wanna have anything to do with Bella anymore. I don't even wanna talk to her. After when I watched all those videos that Charlie returned to Hailey. I know see Bella's dark side. I've seen why Annie didn't like Bella. I've seen all the letters and diaries that belong to Annie. And I've read them all.

I wanted to wait until after dad's wedding. Yes, hes gonna get married. I suppose Lilly/Hailey never mentioned it.

One of Sue's bestfriends who moved from Australia to here is our neighbour. My dad asked her out on dates like two years ago. They'll be married tomorrow. Also, my dad's all healed up. He can move again thanks to Lilly. She said that he was a father figure to her.

I was waiting until after their marriage. I'll be joining Annie wherever she is. We all sat in silence while that Brie girl was screaming from the basement. Its the same when Catherine was like that also Rosalie, Emmet, Jasper and Alice are gonna change as well.

After what seems like forever, we heard footsteps coming from the basement and we all turned our heads to where Hailey's mum and brother are coming.

"Sam dear. This is a gift from my husband. For appreciation." Mrs Dawn said as she handed him a small chest. "In case you guys wanna come down to Oceana maybe you can tell Lilly pod there and maybe she'll help you out." Lilly's brother said as he bro hug with Sam.

"Thank you Mrs Dawn.". "Ohh shucks! Dont call me that. It makes me feel old. Which I am" We all chuckled and then the two of them walked out of the house and disappeared.

We all turn and see Hailey with a big smile on her face and then we all gasped at the sight of Brie. She has a bit of tan on her skin, her eyes are gold like that Cullens and her hair is up to her waist, she has a tattoo of a sea lion fish on her neck and two bands around her stomach. She looks different almost as if she looks like she's 20 something.

--------------------------Edward's Pov

In a few days time, Bella and I will be getting married. Alice is still around but Rosalie, Emmet and Jasper. Not so much. I dont know why they always spend time with the mutts and their fairy. "Whats wrong Edward??" Carlisle asked as he stop beside me.

"Emmet, Rosalie and Jasper are getting weird. They hardly spend time with us anymore." I said as I looked through the window and saw Catherine with her new husband playing with each other on the grass.

"And she's always here when Rosalie's here." I said bitterly, eyeing the couple. "Edward, you have to come to the terms that it was your own fault that she left. You picked your blood singer over your mate. Catherine's finally happy. She's married and also expecting a child of her own soon." Esme said.

"If she's so happy why doesnt she just stay in La Push then." I muttered. "She came here to spend some time with her sister and brother in law. Along with Jasper, Alice, me and Esme." Carlisle said.

"We all know why she's ignoring you but that isnt our problem. Esme, lets go." Carlisle said as he and Esme left.

"Any names you picked yet??" Rosalie asked her sister as she rubs her huge belly. I heard from Jasper that the baby is a hybrid, her husband is a brother of Hailey's and is the same as her, a fairy.

"So we thought about Rosè Annie Alison Dawn if its a girl and if its a boy then maybe Joshua Seth Dawn." Catherine said with a smile as she stroke her belly.

"Hey! I thought we agreed that the boy's name will be EJ or Emmet Jr or maybe Jasper Jr!" Emmet whine as he sit down with them.

"Anyways, Hailey said for you two to be there. Along with Jasper of course. She said that she has something for you guys" Hmm, whats going on.

"Oooohhh, you mean that" Catherine's husband nodded. "Well, I have someone to feed. I hope to see you three there. Maybe meet our mother as well. She's so hyper on seeing my wife's sister and other family members." In a blink of an eye, the couple disappeared.

I wonder whats gonna happen. I then received a call from Bella. "Hello Bella. Whats wrong??" I asked as I sit down on my couch.

"Can you come over for a moment. Please." I sighed and then replied yes.I put my phone in my pocket and then vampire speed to her house and got in through her window.

"Whats wrong??" I asked, concerned. "What is Hailey?? What kind of supernatural being is she??" She asked. I sighed and then sit down on her bed.

"We've been through this Bella. I cant tell you. If I tell you without a reason then some of her kind will kill you. We have the same law. Her kind and mine. Never expose our secret to humans or else they die. But as for them,  if only theres a reason for it then they're ok." I explained.

"I mean, she's really weird." Bella commented. "Why do you wanna know??" I asked, curiously.

"She just seem to be something. I mean, she doesn't die during the army or something. Whats with the tattoo on her back anyways??" She said and then went through her laptop.

"Bella just let it go. No need to know about her." I reasoned as I tried to take her laptop.

"I need to know what she is. Then I'll expose her." I slightly tense at what she said. She's a magnet for trouble. "She's a fairy!!" Bella exclaimed and if my dead heart is still beating, it'll be beating like crazy.

"She's a fairy isn't she??" I stayed quiet as she asked. "Why didn't you say anything." She said with disbelief.

"That's because it wasnt my secret to tell and also you'll be killed by them." She just scoffed.

-----------------------Hailey's Pov

Me and the pack along with the newly wedded couple my brother Vincent and Catherine are all in the living room, playing games and eating snacks.

I am currently in the kitchen, getting some ice cream then I was being dragged into a vision.

"I need to know what she is. Then I'll expose her." Edward slightly tensed at what she said. 'She's like a magnet for trouble' Edward thought.

"She's a fairy!!" Bella exclaimed. "She's a fairy isn't she??" Bella asked Edward who is still.

"Why didn't you say anything??" Bella asked with disbelief.

"That's because it wasnt my secret to tell and also you'll be killed by them." Edward said. 'I did warn her. Now she's in danger again.' Edward thought.

I then came back into reality and noticed Sam holding onto me. A worried look on his face. Along with the others.

"Babe. What did you see??" He asked and I stand up slowly. "Im not gonna get included to this mess Bella put herself into." I muttered and they all gave me a confused look.

We all sit down on all the couches in the living and they all wait for me to say something. "Something terrible is about to happen." I paused with a sigh. "Afew fairies will be coming for Bella."

"Why??" Sky asked. "She found out about my secret." I said. "Is that a bad thing or a good thing?? Coz when you told us you were a fairy, nothing bad happened only good." Embry said.

"We have a certain rule within all fairy kindness from the north, east south and west. We shouldn't tell a mortal about us being fairies or else they die. Our kind have been hunted for our wings. Especially men. That's why my grandmother Maleficent made that rule." I explained.

"What happened with your grandma that she had to make that rule??" Seth asked as he bounced a sleeping Crystal with a pacifier in her mouth and is currently in his arms.

"My grandma fell in love on her 16th birthday. She thought that he was her true love. Afew years later, her lover came back and betrayed her by cutting off her wings with metal. Silver metal or any metals are fairies weaknesses. He took her wings since shes a fae and brought them to the king."

"Later on her former lover became the king and my grandma herself became evil. She cast a spell on the king's daughter: Aurora. She didn't that later when the baby was older, she took a liking in Aurora. After realizing that the princess has made my grandma's heart soft again. My grandma herself received her wings back while fighting the king. It was Aurora herself that broke the chest where my grandma's wings were hidden."

"So you're the granddaughter of the Maleficent from Sleeping beauty!" Nicki exclaimed and I chuckled. "She wasn't all evil, until the day her wings were being taken. That's when she changed but later on, she became good again."

"So whats gonna happen now??" Jared asked. We all turned our heads towards the door as we heard someone knock.

I got up and opened the door. Ohh right on time. Four male fairies who seem to be guards of my father's palace. "Hello M'lady" They all said as they kneel.

"Please dont kneel. Im like the youngest one in the family. So what can I do for you??" I asked.

"We were being strucked into a vision of a human by the name if Isabella Swan. She found out our secret and is willing to expose us." One of them said.

I then turn towards Sam and the others. "Look after Crystal. I'll be back" They all nodded , Sam gave me a kiss on my cheeks and then they all walked back inside the house.

I made my wings appear and then we all head to where Bella stays.

"Wait! They'll be here now??" I heard Bella asked Edward as he was driving fast to his house. "They're looking for you right now."

As they both reached their house and got out of the car. Me and the guards all stayed in the air, in the woods and waited.

"What do you mean she found out?!" Rosalie shouted. "You told her??" Alice asked slightly disappointed. "She's stubborn! You know her. She said that she's gonna expose them if she finds out. She searched the internet." Edward reasoned.

"Didnt you warn her??" Jasper asked. "I did! She didn't listen. Please Carlisle, you have to help me stop them." Edward begged Carlisle. "I told you, Hailey's kind are unstoppable. They cant be killed. This is your problem. Deal with it."

"Lets go!" I said out loud and then we all fluttered our wings towards their house. "Too late for that now, they're here." I heard Esme said.

We all landed on the ground, my sword in my left hand, Im in my fairy form, hair changed to purple, eyes glowing, my tattoos glowing, Im dressed in my purple leather shorts with my sleeveless crop top.

"Hailey, let me explain." Edward said with fear in his tone. His eyes widen at the sight of me and the guards.

"We did spread the rule within the earth. No supernatural should tell a mortal about our kind or they will pay the price." The guard with red glowings said.

"She didn't mean to find it out" Edward said again. I can hear Bella's heart beating like crazy. "So Bella" I paused abit as I was playing with the sword in arm.

"If we're not gonna kill you then maybe I'll be taking your power." I said as I look her right in the eye.

"What do you mean??" Edward asked confused. "Your dear Bella here is a shield. Theres a shield around her mind that'll be still there even though she's one of you. She's gonna be a shield once she's a vampire. So I guess I'll just take that away from you." I stated then snapped my fingers.

Two of the guards grab onto her and then brought her towards me, while the other two were holding onto Edward.

"This power I seek is mine. She shall not be gaining other power but none." I whispered in Latin then Bella starts screaming. "Stop!!" Edward shouted.

"I warned you what'll happen." I muttered and then Bella fell unconscious. "If this happens again and it's someone who's related to her finds out. I dont care who, I'll kill that person." I warned Edward as he picks up Bella.
