"Did you get that?" Bin's voice camethrough the mic; I shifted in my seat realizing that I haven't moved an inch while I listened to his conversation with Zhan.

"Yes." I said stiffly,

"What are you going to do?" He asked.

"Leave Danny and Zhan to me." I said,

"Yibo don't..."

"Thank you very much Bin." I cut him off

"I owe you." I added sincerely then cut of the wired speaker. I stood up looking outside of my window, not quite believing what I just heard. That's what this was all about? The company?

I knew about Danny's pursuits on my position the moment he started snooping around. Uncle Chen and I are the oneswho ensured he won his fake proxy fight. We wanted to teach him a lesson, and it was one that I was going to teach fair and square but he just had to go and involve Zhan.

I ran my hand through my hair, and because he's too sacrificial and stubborn for his own good he played right into his hand.

I could understand why he felt he couldn'tcome to me but that would've save us both a lot of hurt and heartbreak.

My God, he thinks I hate him! Hell wouldfreeze over before that ever happens; didn't he know that? Then again I didn't try to convince him otherwise. I flinched remembering the hurt in his voice when hetalked about his ring. Saying I was angry and hurt was a lame excuse, because I regretted it the moment I slipped it off hisfinger. I knew in my heart it was wrong but I didn't trust my heart to do anything, I couldn't.

Taking it back though didn't mean I took my heart back as well; he still walked out with it.

I shouldn't have let him go, I didn't want tobut I still did, and God nearly punished me for that mistake by taking his life.

Zhan is the most selfless person I know I remembered Bin's words there's no one else he cares more about than you and your kids.

I always knew that, even as he told me those lies deep down in my heart I knew he loved me and would never do that to me. But the mind does not fathom what the heart feels sometimes.

All this time I thought he was the one whodidn't honor his vows when truly it was I. For crying out loud, I went out with the purpose to taking some random woman to bed out of spite.

I don't blame him he said to Bin; he probably would've overlooked that as well.Bless his pure heart; it was a testament of how much I didn't deserve him.

Danny on the other hand would pay dearly for taking advantage of him.

I pulled out my phone

"Mr. Wang, what can I do for you?"

Kang answered; Kang was the company's top lawyer.

"There's a change of plan." I said

"Have the other papers ready, I want them as soon as tomorrow." I said.

"What?" He bellowed then caught himself

"But they're not ready sir, perhaps another day..."

"Tomorrow Mr. Kang." I said more fiercely

"Of course Mr. Wang, they'll be ready." Hesaid and I hung up and called Danny.

"Well well well, this is a surprise." He saidand I tried not to let him have it right then.

"When can you come to Beijing? We have business to discuss." I said as calmly as I could.

"Is it urgent? Some of us have a life." Hesaid and I slowly breathed in and out.

"Yes, preferably tomorrow." I said.

"Okay, I'll have my jet ready then." He said,"How is Zhan by the way? Oh my bad, you two are not a thing anymore." He added.

"Just get here." I barked and violently outthe receiver down. I pushed the things off my table in frustration knocking the lamp close to it down too.

I'll wipe that smug tone off his voicetomorrow, but right now I had bigger fish to fry.

I grabbed my car keys and my leather jacket, just then Mari came in with wide eyes

"What was...where are you going?" she asked frantically

"I'm going to go drag that man back here,kicking and screaming." I said, I thought I saw her smile as I went passed her.

"See to Zhen Xin and Fan Xing in case I don't come back." I added; I wasn't planning on coming back without him. Like hell he was going back to Chongqing.
