chapter 36

Hehehe. I think you might like this one... ~•~Sasuke's POV

I was having the best dream, that may or may not be about Naruto, when a loud beeping noise just had to wake me up. I grudgingly got out of bed and trudged my way to the bathroom. I began brushing my teeth until I choked on my toothpaste after remembering about Naruto's gift.

I quickly finished getting ready and rushed out of the house, almost forgetting the present. I made my way down to the hokage's office.

Once I got there I rushed past the receptionist and speedily made my way upstairs. Once I got in front of his office I knocked three times. After hearing the normal 'come in' I made my way inside.

Nothing was out of place, the only thing different was the stacks of files on his desk. I looked over to an open one, only to find that it was on Naru. I guess the hokage noticed my confusion since he answered my unasked question.

"I was trying to figure out how he got his third chakra."

Wait whats the second chakra?! As to not keep him waiting I answered with a hum.

I'll have to look more into that.

"So, is Naru here?"

I could see the amusement in the hokage's eyes, "No, but I know where he is." I gave a questioning glare. If he doesn't tell me just to agrivate me then I'll make sure to make his life hell. "He should be at home resting," he laughed nervously.

I deemed this answer acceptable and bowed in apprrestiation and went on my way. I already knew where his house was so I had no need for directions.

The thought of naru's apartment brought back the memory of yesterday. I wonder who was in his apartment, and what they were doing in his room. It could've been a burgurlar or someone I don't know.  wWho lives with him... wait... he lives alone.

I guess this was something I always knew about him, but I guess I just havn't realised it yet. It seems so obvious so why couldn't I see it until now?

Naruto is all alone. Sure he has us, but at the end of the day he falls asleep alone and wakes up alone. I've always had a caring family. Yeah, my mother died, but the ones who are still here love me and stay with me. He... he has a family. They just don't care about him. They don't love him. They don't give two shits about him! If they were given a choice between a random villager, who has probably beat naru, and him they'd probably choose the villager!

Thinking about his family has really got me mad! I got so mad I punched a nearby wall, startling a shop owner. I countinued walking until I reached I familiar building of naru's house.

I lightly knocked on the door. After a couple of momentes of silence I was about to knock again until I heard someone's feet shuffling. I could hear the raddling of the lock. A second later the door opened revealing the now white haired angel.

It looked like he was sleeping a few moments ago. He was in a light blue pajama shirt with shorts that were grey. His hair was disheveled, more than usual. His eyes were half open, but when he saw me his eyes shot open wide.

A small smile washed over his face and he welcomed me inside. "Tea?" He asked.

"Sure."

He went into the other room, probably the kitchen, and I sat down on the sofa. I took a closer look at everything. Last time I was here all the lights were off, and I couldn't see very well. Now I can see every little detail like the books on the shelf that look as if they've never been used, the old table, and the variety of plants that are scattered around the house.

After a moment of waiting he came back with some tea in hand. He sat in the chair next to me. We sipped tea together until he asked, "so, why did you come here Sasuke?"

"Oh, ummm, I wanted to give you a gift. I guess it's like a 'happy your okay' gift..." stupid. Stupid. Stupid! That doesn't make any sense at ALL!

He tilted his head cutely, "Oh, okay!"

Why does he have to be so darn cute? It's so hard to resist him!

I pushed down my feelings and pulled out the gift. It was in neatly wrapped box. He gently took the box and began opening it. Once it was fully opened his eyes lit up with joy.

He looked up at me and gave me the most dazzling smile I've ever seen. He jumped up on me, pushing me down into the couch, and hugged me tight. I could feel my body heat up from being so close to him.

"Thank you Sasu!"

I could feel my self burning now. Did he just call me Sasu? I looked over and I could see a slight blush on his face too.

I couldn't help it. He was just so cute. I've pushed back my feelings for long enough. If I didn't do it now, then I'd never do it at all!

I flipped Naruto over onto his back and kissed him hard. I was done holding back. My burning passion blurred away all conscious thought, and all I could focus on was his soft lips on mine. ~•~So I thought that this would be a nice place to stop. Your welcome. Hehe
