promises

As most of you know (probably) I update every Saturday. I couldn't yesterday because I had to babysit some children and I was (still am) feeling like shit. So this chapter might be short or not be the best. Im so sorry.                                  ~•~Sasuke's POV

I woke up and I couldn't remember anything. I decided to look around to try to spark something, but all I saw was Sakura sleeping about five feet away. That's useless. (More like she is)

I sat up and looked around some more. I saw Kakashi frozen in place, the hokage, a might be dead person, and a deffenetly dead person. Great! This makes perfect sense!

I stood up and was about to make my way towards the statue of kakashi when I remembered.

Team 7 was taking the second exam! I fell asleep and Naruto was taking first watch...wait...where's Naruto?! I scaned my surroundings once more only to see the same things and still no Naruto!

I quickly made my way towards the hokage to try and figure everything out.

Hokage's POV

I felt someone approaching from behind me. I thought it was just Kakashi so I just ignored it, but when the person stopped I turned around to see Sasuke. My brow rosed, and I was about to ask what he was doing when he asked anxiously, "where's Naruto? He was with us just a second ago..."

He looked around to see that it was almost morning. He spoke up again, "crap, I must have slept through the entire night. Hokage-sama, do you know anything about what happened here?" I just shook my head no and said," what's the last thing you remember. Better yet, when was the last time you saw Naruto?"

" well team 7 and I decided that we should rest for energy since we won't be getting a lot soon. So Naruto volunteered to take first watch while we slept. That's all I can remember, sorry."

I nodded and looked back at the small boy. I decided that it would be best if we questioned him before we do anything drastic. I signaled for some ANBU to come. Once they got here I ordered them to take the mysterious young boy to my private office, but to make sure to lock the door. Also to station themselves near him.

They hesitated a second before reluctantly picking him up and quickly leaving Sasuke, Kakashi, a basically useless human being, and I.

I turned to look at Sasuke and told him," don't worry we'll find him no matter what. I think we can both agree that he's our top priority right now." He just nodded and I said, "okay, I suppose so. But...who's the dead guy?"

I glanced at Orochimaru and said, "that doesn't matter."

Sasuke made a weird face, but didnt say anything else.

Even though I put up this strong front, I am literally terrified about what would happen to me if we couldn't ever find him again. I turned and looked at the Hokage Monument as of promising to his village that Naruto will be found.                                ~•~As I said, it was pretty short, but I hope you enjoyed what was there and if that's all then please
