forest of death

Okay, so I don't really want to have Sasugay get all power hungry and stuff. So I'm gonna do something different. What that is, I don't know. Yes, it will be in this chapter (hopefully) and yes, I am making this up as I go. One thing that I could use a lot of help on is what you want the ending of the story to be like. For an example: 1) everybody dies2) it's a dream3) gonna keep this list going so that you don't choose 1 or 24) any other ideas you have will be better then the ones I have.

Sorry for this being long, I'll just get on with the story.                                   ~•~Naru's POV

When I got to the ,supposed, meeting place everybody was shouting in rage, confusion, or fearfulness. When I got a closer look I could see the lady who bursted though the window earlier. I found my teammates and poked Sasuke on the shoulder. He turned around and was about to say something, that I'm guessing was rude. Instead he gave me a look of surprise.

"What's goin' on?" I whispered. He rolled his eyes and quietly said back, "Anko is just telling us how we could die in this exam." I made a 'oh' face and nodded my head as if saying, 'that makes sense.'

When Anko was finished with her 'little' speech, on how only half of us will pass.

I've already decided which competitors will pass this exam, and which won't. I know that Gaara's team will pass, rookie 11, and maybe those sound-nin.

After Anko stopped talking everybody, who was gonna participate, walked to the nearby tables. We retrieved our scroll and signed the papers. I could tell Sakura was hesitant to sign, but after a little motivational talk from Sasuke and I, she said yes.

We are now standing infront of our assigned gate. We got the heavens scroll. I decided to secretly seal it in my arm. Over the years I've decided to keep my sealing abilities to myself. Not even Kurama knows exactly how diverse I am in fuunjutsu. (The art of sealing, in case ya didn't know)

When the timer began we all ran forward and began looking for shelter, our prey, and of course food and water.

Since I basically know this entire forest like the back of my hand ,and I can sense everything in this entire forest, we found some pretty quickly. We also saw some other poeple there. I don't know the them, but they were fairly strong.

Sakura ended up with a kunai in her calve. Thankfully I knew a bit of medical ninjutsu, so it wasn't much of a problem. They were surprised when I healed her, but who wouldn't be? I'm like 7, almost 8!

I began to search one of the guys for their scroll. When I found it in the dudes pocket I found myself face to face with the wrong scroll. I took it anyways just in case ours gets stolen. This one I left out of my seal.

We set up camp and I began fishing while Sasuke looks for fruit and Sakura guards, meaning her just standing there. When I get enough fish I began making a fire. It was a little hard , but since I had a magnesium stick it was easier than it would've been.

By the time the fire was started Sasuke was back. He brought back a ton of fruit, but sadly only a little bit of it was edible ,while still tasting good.

When our food was done we ate and I quickly put out the fire. I know that making a fire is a little risky since it could attract enemies, but since we are looking for them it would be better if they came to us. It does make the chances of a sneak attack higher, but that's what Kurama's good for. He'll let me know if anyone is trying to sneak up on us. I probably will sense them too, but just on case.

It was getting dark and Sakura was already asleep. I was taking first watch and Sasuke was pretending to be asleep, but his breathing a heartbeat gave it away. I turned towards him and asked him what was on his mind.

" It's just that ever since we entered the forest I've felt as if someone was watching us" He spoke up.

At first I thought that he was just being paranoid, but once I looked back on it I could also slightly feel the eyes of a creep. It slightly unnerved me that someone was strong enough to get passed me and Kurama's radar!

Even if I didnt show it, I was getting a little paranoid myself. I decided to ask Kurama about it.

"Does it feel as if someone is following us?" It took him awhile to answer, but when he did he said, "yes, I think we should leave it alone. I don't think that we can come out unscathed this time, if we engage."

I nodded and asked him, "What should we do in the mean time?"

"Wait till he attacks, it would be bad if we attack, because we don't know exactly where he is." He said, "I also smell snake on him, so I'm guessing it's the infamous Orochimaru."

This didn't do anything to help me, except knowing a little bit what to expect.

I know that Orochimaru has been studying forbidden jutsus, and that he probably is trying to become immortal. Which leads me to believe that he is trying to get a new body.

He's probably after Sasuke, since it would be bad to steel the body of a jinchuuriki, for obvious reasons. This leaves Sakura and Sasuke. Do I even have to explain why he wouldn't choose Sakura?

When Sasuke finally fell asleep from exhaustion, the man himself decided to attack. I'm guessing that he thinks he can take a little genin on and come out victorious easily, but he hasn't met me yet!

I put up a barrier around them so that they can't hear the fight that's gonna take place and can't get involved. I got into stance and got ready for anything.

Orochimaru's POV

When I moved to level ground the kid who was on first watch immediately made a barrier around his friends. I'm guessing that he knew I was there the entire time. So much for a sneak attack. Oh well, I'll still kill him.

"I'm here for the Uchiha brat, get out of my way!" I hissed, "this has nothing to do with you."

He gave me a look that pretty much said that he thought I was stupid. He's the stupid one! Acting as if he has a chance against me, he probably doesn't even know who I am! (Well you don't know who he is)Plus the kid looked to be around six or seven. Meaning no experience what-so-ever!

Althoug, one thing was troubling me. I was a little worried about was the chakra that was flowing off him. It was as if it was three different chakra types! The first one being a thick, red, demonic, chakra. The second being a calm, light blue with flecks of yellow, chakra. The last one being one of a seemingly experience, old, wise, man. But it was a young chakra. This meaning that someone who already has seen the 'beauty' of this world and has been in the face of death.

A child his age shouldn't even have any of these chakras! Most children, even Uchihas when they're his age, have dark blue, energetic, chakra. Plus he has three chakras in him!

I've already came to the conclusion that he is most likely the jinchuuriki of the nine tails, which is the demonic chakra that I felt. One of them belongs to him. And the other belongs to who knows who! Who ever this person is I need to be careful.                                   ~•~I couldn't fit it all in one chapter. Well... I could've, but I was getting sleepy and I need to go to bed. So,  Goodnight!~
