4th chapter of the day

Naru's POV

I woke up and I saw the familiar forest of my mindscape. "It's been a while" I heard a familiar, deep, voice echo around the forest. My head was down so you couldn't see my face. "Ya" was my only response.

Kurama's demeanor changed from confidence to worry. "What's wrong?"

Kurama POV

He's acting strange. Where did my cute kit go? He looked up and all I could see was helplessness. A look of need. A look that was silently begging for help.

All I wanted to do was help! "What's wrong kit?" I cautiously asked. He responded quietly "i-i can't do it anymore." "What can't you do?!" "I can't keep on going acting as if the villagers glares don't hurt me. I can't go on with my parents, my parents Kurama! My own p-parents neglect me. I can go on pretending that I'm not hurt." By this point he was crying his eyes out.

Unlike all the times before I was ready for this, I was already in my human for making my way towards him. I made it just in time to catch him from falling.

I soothed him by rubbing circles on his back and telling him that it would all be alright. It would be, right? I can only hope so. He's been put through enough.

I noticed that it was about time for him to wake up and since he's calmed down some I think he can hold out for just a little longer.

Kakashi's POV

It's been a couple of days since... then. And Naruto hasn't woken up yet. I'm starting to get really worried. I mean what if he doesn't ever wake up ever again?! Kakashi, think about this rationally! Blood loss can't cause you to go into a coma, or at least for forever.

I walked into his room to see how he was doing only to find him sitting up with his bangs covering his face shielding it so that I couldn't see it.

Is he okay? I walk over to him and knelt by his side. When I touched his shoulder he flinched and looked up. Once he took in his surroundings he turned and looked at me. "Y-you doin' alright naru" he blushed at the nickname but nodded. I nodded back and told him I'd be right back.

I went down stairs and saw everybody sitting at the table waiting for my return. "How is he kakashi-sensei? Is he alri-" Sasuke said getting interrupted by Sakura "is he dead?" I sweatdropped at this. "No Sakura he's not dead. He has finally woken up." When I said this I could see out of the corner of my eyes Minato glancing towards the stairs.

"If he's feeling good enough then he can eat at the table woth the rest of us." I said and went back up to go get Naruto.

Once I got to his room I asked him if he wanted to eat downstairs. He said yes and I helped him down the stairs.

Once we made it I set him down carefully in one of the chairs.

We have been eating for a while now when that kid Inari came into the room and asked/mumbled "why are you even trying?" Now all our focus is on him and he looks up at us with hate in his eyes. "Why are you even trying, you'll  die in the end anyways. Just give up and go to your safe homes while you still can."

"Inari!" His mother shouted at him. I looked over just in time to see Naruto clenching his fist to where his knuckles were turning white. For the first time since he has walked down stairs he unshielded his eyes and looked strait at Inari. "Why?"

"Huh?" Inari said.

"Why, why do you have to be so mean?! I did nothing to you so why do you have to be so mean. You don't even know me so who are you to judge whether I have it easy or not?" By he time he finished his voice was no longer a whisper like before.

"Well, even if you did have a hard life it's not as painful as mine!"

This made Naruto snap, he pointed to the shrine of his father "What? Your father died and now you have a hard life? How about having a family who neglects you ever since you were 2 years old and getting hateful stares from everyone in a village 10 times this size. Getting beat every night only trying to stay alive for as long as possible? All this for something I didn't even do! Is your life that hard? I didn't think so! So how about you think of other people's feelings for once and not just about your own damn self?!"

By the time Naruto was finished we were all silent.

Does Naruto really have this hard of a life? How much has he suffered? I didn't even know.

Who is this family of his? He said they were still alive so that means that he is still being neglected. Who ever his parents are then they are going to be spoken to in the near future.

In the sidelines you could see a angry Minato in the background.

"You filthy demon!" I turned around to see Minato with a scowl on his face. "How dare you! You don't appreciate all that I've done for you?! All the times you ate dinner with us. Or all the times we gave you love! All the times that we-" he was soon interrupted by Naruto yelling "What, should I appreciate all the time that you slapped me? Or the times you would kick me out, all the times you would forget about me?! Hell you didn't even recognize me until a few days ago! Your the true demon. Not me! "

By now I put the pieces together and realized that Minato was Naruto father.

Soon after this Minato stomped towards Naruto and slapped him across the face saying "you ungrateful brat!"

I would've guessed that Naruto would fall down but he didn't he just stood there. Holding his cheek. He glared at Minato and said in the most chilling voice I've ever heard "your the one that's truly ungrateful, for the past 7 years I've showed you nothing but respect, kindness, and politeness. And what do you do you call me a demon and neglect me. Oh and thanks for the birthday present Minato."

He then turned around and walked out the door only saying these words "have a nice day Minato" he then shut the door and left. We all turned to the former hokage in disgust. Even Minato's children were shocked. They probably didn't even know they had another brother.

After that I sent all the genins to bed while I tried to get some sleep myself, but without success.I decided that I would just read.                                  ~•~Ahhhh~ last chapter of the day! Finally! Well hope you have a nice day/night please
