( bonus chapter! Okay so as most of you probably noticed, when I'm talking I'll put it in parentheses. Okay, second of all Naru is such an adorable little fluff ball!😳Anywho! The picture up top is the entrance to the cave in Naru's mindscape. Pushing that aside let's get on with the story!)                                  ~•~Naru's POV!

I opened my eyes to see fluffy orangeish reddish fur. I closed my eyes again and cuddled closer the warmth. The warmth began to move so I sat up and I stretched and opened my eyes.

Now that I was sort of awake I opened my eyes only for me to see I was in a beautiful cave and outside was a forest. I looked over to see Mr. Fox awake to.

Kurama's POV

I was starting to wake up when I felt that Naruto would wake up soon. I turned my head and looked at Naruto, who was laying on my fur, and he opened his eyes for a couple of seconds and then closed then again only for him to snuggle into my fur. I blushed for a second and then I began to sit up.

Naruto felt me go away and so he sat up also and stretched his arms out wide, or as wide as he could, and then yawned with his tiny little hand over his mouth. Let me tell you it was adorable! He then opened his eyes and looked outside and I could see that he was amazed because his eyes went a little wide and they shined with anime magic.

His eyes went back to normal and he turned and looked at me. He started to crawl over to me and cuddled back into my fur and he said "so warm." 'Oh my fucking god he's so adorable!' This time I let him cuddle with me since it was obvious that he was still tired.

-30 minutes later-

I was just watching as Naruto slept on one of my tails. I still had a faint blush on my face but it wasn't noticeable unless you were looking for it. I was broke out of my train-of-thought went I felt the hug on my tail tighten. I looked at Naruto and saw him awake.

"Good morning, kit," I said. "G-good morning M-mr. Fox" he said, "u- um w-why did y-you call M-me kit?" "why do you call me 'Mr. Fox'?" I decided to retort back. I looked back over to Naruto only to see him tearing up. "H-hey don't cry!" Why is he crying! Did I say something mean! I don't think I did, did I ?! "Why are you crying?!"

"I-i sorry Mr. Fox" why is he now saying sorry! What did he do?! "I d-didn't know y-you didn't l-like to be c-called 'Mr. F-fox' ." Oh my god! No! I didn't mean it like that! Great! Just great, now I have no idea what to do. God! I need to learn how to deal with children!

"I-its fine!" I decided to tell him that it was fine " Ummmm... how about you just call me Kurama instead?!" He stopped crying and looked at me and said "m-Mr. Kuwama?" At this, I wanted to just bring him into a hug and stay like that forever! I mean yeah he didn't drop the Mr. And he said my name wrong, but it was adorable as all hell!

Since I guess this was the best that I would get I said: "yeah, sure that's fine, I guess." As soon as I said that he ran up to me and jumped up on to my hand, which he had a little trouble with, and sat down. Why he did this I have no Idea. If you asked me if I had a problem with it, I would say I don't.

I just remembered what his life has been like, with the villagers and his parents, and I then and there made my resolve. I will train this little kit to become a strong shinobi! All I need now is to have him let me train him.

"Hey kit?" I right then and there asked him "would you like me to train you?"His eyes lit up and he nodded his head up and down and said: "thank you mister Kurama!" I just nodded and said "Okay how about for a year you stay here and train in your mindscape. If you train here all your abilities will also be outside of your mindscape too, okay?" He nodded yes but then got a look of unsureness and said "b-but what a-about Jiji? He will be worried for a whole year!"

Wait who's Jiji? I don't recall anybody in his memories named Jiji, and if he would be worried about him Naruto should have some good memories of him, right?

"Don't worry little kit?" I tell him "I can make time slow down so ai can make one year in here equal 1 week in the real world." At this Naruto had wide eyes and he said "w-really! Y-you mean i-it!?!" "Yep!"

-summary for what happened during that year-

After that, we began training. We didn't only train the body but we also trained the mind. I also taught the kit about history, not only in Konohagakure but in all the hidden villages, as well as multiple individuals. Naruto and I have become super close, like close enough that we tell each other everything and we never lie to each other... well Naruto never has lied in his life so I guess that that's not really anything special for him.

-Sarutobi's POV - also -summary over-

It has been a whole week since I've learned that Naruto got attacked.

~Flashback ~ 6 days ago

I was sitting at my desk doing... paperwork (while writing this I felt as if Sarutobi had the Excalibur face😂)When I heard a knock on the door. I said "come in" thankful for an excuse to have a break. It was a bear.

He knelt down and said Hokage-same we have just received word that Naruto has been attacked again. He is unconscious and is healed fully, but he has yet to wake up. Also, it looks as though this all happened yesterday." Oh no, I forgot! Yesterday was Naruto's birthday! If only I remembered then I would've sent Anbu to watch him."Bear! Bring me to Naruto!" This is all my fault! "Yes Hokage-same," he said, "but if I may, it seems as though he should've awoken by now."

We began to walk to the hospital that Naruto was in. Once we got there we went in and I asked for Naruto's room number. It was on the 3rd floor. Once we got there we knocked on the door in case a nurse or someone else was in the room before us.

There was no answer so we walked in.When we saw Naruto he was peacefully sleeping in a white room with a white bed. The window was open a little bit so the breeze made his hair move ever so slightly. I walked towards him and sat down next to him. Then I whispered, "Please be okay Naruto."

~flashback over~

It has been a full week since he has been sleeping, a full week of worry. There was no reason for him to still be sleeping, he could wake up any minute now. I am on my way of going to see him again, on my way I noticed that the village was happier than usual and I saw Naruto's parents and his siblings walking down the road.

I decided to pay them a visit since I don't see them all together all to much. I walked over to them and said "Hey Namikazes!" They turned around and Minato said back "oh hi Sarutobi, why are you out here this evening?" What confused me is that it looked like I was more worried about their son then them! It looks as if they don't even know or they don't care!

"Oh I'm just paying a visit to the hospital" I decided to say this instead to see how things played out, because now that I thought about it at their family get-togethers that I was invited to I have never seen Naruto there, I never saw Naruto with them , and in fact I don't even think that he was there on his birthday! I've got to look into this.

Minato now has a look of confusion on his face he said "but why? I mean I can't think of any reason as to why there isn't anybody hurt is there?" Now I was surprised, I mean they should know they are his parents for crying out loud! "Well I am going to see Naruto, unfortunately, he has been attacked," I said in a solemn voice.

Minato's POV (didn't expect that now did ya!)

Wait who's Naruto? I was trying to think if I knew him because it seems as though Sarutobi has strong feelings forwards this person. I decide to say "do you mind if my family and I go with you?" "Yeah sure," Sarutobi said, "you can come with!" My family and I start to walk towards the hospital while I'm still trying to figure out who Naruto is.                               ~•~For information purposes. If you haven't caught on yet, then Sarutobi doesn't know about Naruto's living situation. Sarutobi doesn't spend much time with Naruto since he doesn't have the time to.
