Chapter 6

Zoey's povI wake up in Spencer's warm arms. I looks over at him and he was still asleep. I kiss his cheek to wake him up. "Good morning Zoey," He mumbled "Good morning Spence," I smile "What time is it?" He asked rubbing  his eyes. "Six, we have a little time before we have to get up," I say nuzzling my head in the crook of his neck. "We should get up," he said starting to get out of bed. "No stay, we have time," I said pulling his arm back in bed. "Okay fine, but if we're late it's your fault," he laughs. "Are you ready to tell the team?" I said crawling back in his arms. "Yeah, but we shouldn't tell them that I stayed with you last night. They'll get the wrong impression of that," "Especially Morgan," we both laugh.

A couple minutes later we decide to get up. Spencer gets in the shower first while I make breakfast. As I flipped a pancake I feel a warm but damp arm wrap around me. "Smells good," he whispers. "And tastes good," I say taking a bite of a pancake. "You tease, give me one" he pouts. "Here," I laugh handing him one. I turn around to see his hair a little wet and in his eyes. He looks so hot like that.

Once I get out of the shower I get dressed in a tight black shirt and a black skirt. I put my hair in a pony tail and apply a little bit of makeup. "You look amazing Zoey," Spencer said looking me up and down. "Thank you Spencer," I say grabbing his hand and we head out the door to work."You seem tense, you okay?" He asked me looking worried. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. I'm just kinda nervous to tell everyone," I admit."Everything will be fine Zo," he reassured me as we get in the car. "I know, thank you" I said putting my hand on his knee. "For what?" He said confused. "I don't know just everything," "But I didn't do much," he said still confused. "Oh my god, just take the compliment Spence," I playfully punch his shoulder and laugh. "Thank you for staying with me last night," I look into his eyes. "Of course Zoey," he grabbed my hand that was resting on the consul. "I had such great time last night and I didn't want it to end even though we would be sleeping. Just you being with me made me happy," I smile at him and he smiles back. "I had a wonderful time too Zo,"

As we pull up to the BAU my heart starts to race. I'm not sure why but I'm so nervous to tell the team about me and Spencer. "Hey, you okay?" He said tightening his grip on my hand. "Yeah, just nervous." I admit. "Zoey, trust me. They are going to be happy that we're together. On Friday all we talking about was you and me and how they thought we should get together." "Really, on Friday that's all the girls could talk about," "See, they want us together. Everything will be fine," he reassured me.

We walk into the BAU and into the elevator. I turn to Spencer and give him a quick peck on the cheek. "What was that for?" He said blushing. "I don't know, because I wanted to," I said in a flirty tone.

When the doors open we go out separate ways. Spencer is getting all the guys and I'm getting all the girls together. "Hey JJ, Emily, Penny could you guys come here for a second?" They all come rushing towards me"What is it?" Emily asked confused.  "Just follow me," I smile When we get to the round table everyone is there. "What's going on guys?" Morgan asked annoyed. "We have to tell you guys something," I announced"We?" JJ asked "Yeah, we," I said happily. "Well who's we?" Rossi asked looking around. "Me and..." I get cut off by Spencer. "Me," he jumps in. "What the hell is going on guys?" Derek is getting really annoyed, it's kinda funny. "Okay well I'm not sure how to say it so I'm just going to say it. Me and Spencer are dating," I finally spit out. All of the teams mouths drop. "What, w-when?!" Emily stutters. "Well when he took me home Saturday night," I looked up at Spencer and smiled. "Finally I can talk about you guys being together!" Penny squeals. "Wait she knew?" JJ asked looking hurt. "We wanted to tell you all at the same time, but on Sunday we went to go get coffee together we were holding hands and she caught us." I explained. "I'm so happy for you!" JJ squeals pulling me in for a hug. "Me too!" Emily said joining the hug. "Well finally you asked her out pretty boy," Derek said slapping Spencer on the back. "I knew you could do it kid," Rossi smiled at him. "I'm happy for you guys, but I don't want this to interfere with your work," Hotch said giving us a stern look. "Oh it won't sir, promise," I said quickly. "Good, I was hoping you guys would get together eventually," he smiled and patted me on the back. I feel a strong arm warp around my waist and pull me closer.  I look up to see Spencer's light brown eyes looking into mine. He places a gentle kiss on my head and everyone 'awed'  "Okay guy, sorry to break up the cute fest but we have a new case," Garcia said rushing back into the room with files. Okay time to get serious I think to myself as I take a seat next to Spencer. "Okay my sexy crime fighters, there was 3 bodies found on the side of the road in California in the past 3 weeks." Pictures of the bodies appear on the bored. "Cameron Ball, Ellie Myer and Timothy Taylor. They are all in their 30's," "Did they find any sings of sexual assault on the girl?" Rossi asked. "No, but Ellie was missing... her heart," She hesitates to say. We all cringe when she said that. "Okay we'll talk more on the plane, Wheels up in thirty," Hotch says his famous quote and walks out of the room.

~plane~ I walk on the plane and take a seat beside Spencer. "Hey I was just about to get some coffee, you want some?" He asked getting up. "Yeah I could use some," I say yawning. He hands me the warm coffee and sits back down beside me. "Thanks Spence," I smile and give him a peck on the cheek. "You guys are too cute," JJ said taking a seat across from us with Emily. I blush and grab Spencer's hand that was resting on his leg. "Okay so when we land I want Morgan and Reid got to the morgue, JJ, Hanson and Prentisse go talk to the victims spouses, Rossi and I'll go to where the body was dumped." Hotch Announced to the team. "Awe man I wanted to go with you," Spencer pouted. I just giggle at him acting like a 4 year old. I keep yawning even after the coffee. "What's wrong Zo, didn't you sleep well last night. Where you uncomfortable last night?" He asked forgetting that JJ and Emily was sitting right across from us. They look up from what they were doing and I widen my eyes at him.

"But not like I would know if you were uncomfortable last night or if I had anything to do with that," He stutters trying to cover up what he just said. I try not to laugh at him, he's so cute.

"I slept fine, I don't know why I'm so tired," I said laying my head on his chest. "You can take a nap Zo, I'll wake you up when we get there," he said giving me a kiss on my head. I hear a faint 'awe' coming from Emily and JJ. It didn't take me long at all to fall asleep in Spencer's arms again. I love laying in his arms and having him hold me. I feel so safe in his arms and so warm I love it so much. "Hey Zoey wake up, we're about to land," Spencer says gently shaking my shoulder.

Me, Emily and JJ make our way to the SUV. Right when we get in they start asking about me and Spence. "Zoey you have to tell us everything!" JJ says emphasizing 'everything' "All the details too!" Emily squealed. "Okay well you saw what happened Saturday night so I'll just start when he brought me home. Not much happened then. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes by kissing him," I smirked a little. "OOHH," the girls said synchronize. "Then he left but he didn't really leave so I pulled him in for another kiss that was longer and then he actually left.  On Sunday he came over and we went to Starbucks. Then we went back to my apartment and watched movies, kissed a little and ate pizza. Then I fell asleep in his arms, he carried me to my bed and he left.""AWEE, that's so cute," JJ squealed. "Wait he left, are you sure he left?" Emily gives me a suspicious look. "What, yeah he just left." Oh god am I going to have to tell them, they are my best friends so it's okay that I tell them. "You're lying, something else happened last night," they smirked at me "Okay fine, I should've know by now not to lie to a profiler," I give in "So what happened," JJ looked at me through the rearview mirror. "Nothing really, he just stayed with me. But nothing happened at all, I just didn't want him to leave so he stayed at my apartment last night." "Ooh," "Nothing like that I swear," I said rolling my eyes. "Okay we believe you," Emily winked at me."Oh looks like we're here," JJ turned off the car and we all get out first at Cameron's house to talk to his wife. "All the victims were married, maybe that's what triggered the unsub," I suggest as we walk up to the house. "Very possible," Emily said.

We talk to each of the spouses for a about an hour each and asked them about their past live, any enemies or people that was jealous of them. Of course they all didn't know and I don't blame them, they are probably still in shock about what just happened. But we did find something interesting.

We head back to the station that the team is set up in. Emily, JJ and I was the last to show up. "What did you find out girls?" Hotch asked walking up to us. "Well we didn't get much but, all of the victims went to the same high school," Emily replied. "Great, what was the name of the high school?" Hotch asked quickly. "West Grant," I answer. "Thank you girls, we will pick this up tomorrow," Hotch said to us. "Everyone drive to this hotel and we will figure out the rooms when we get there," he announced to the team.

I walk over to Spencer and his back was turned to me. I wrap my arms around him from behind and he jumped a little. "Did I scare you?" I asked giggling. "Oh shut up," he laughs turning around. "I missed you today," he said hugging me. "We weren't apart that long," I giggle looking up to him. "I know, we should get going," he grabs my hand and we walk to the car. The ride was pretty quiet and uneventful. We were the 3rd and 4th people to get there. Once everyone was there Hotch announced, "okay so we are going to have to double up on rooms. JJ and Prentisse in one, Morgan and Rossi in another, I'll take a single rooms and the two love birds in another," he said referring to me and Spencer. Everyone giggles and walked to their room. Spencer goes up to the desk and gets the key. He grabs my hand and leads me to the room.It was a nice room, two beds, a nice bathroom with a large shower and even a coffee machine. Thank god I can't live without coffee."Dibs on this beds!" I shout jumping on the bed closest to the wall."Man I wanted that one," he pouted. "Ha," I boast. I get up from the bed and walk over to Spence. "You know what," he said grabbing my waist. "What?" I asked looking deep into his beautiful brown eyes. "I've been waiting to do this all day," he said smirking"Do wha," I get cut off by his lips crashing into mine. He pulls me in closing the space between us. I move my hands up to his neck and gently place one of my hands on his cheek. He pushes me up against the hotel wall never breaking the kiss.  "I love you," he mumbled "You what?" I asked surprised pulling away from the kiss. We've only been dating for a couple days and he already said he loves me!"Oh god I'm sorry, I shouldn't of said that. I probably just ruined everything and," he says frantically trying to fix it. "Spencer," I cut him off. "What?" He said looking down at the floor ashamed. I take two fingers and pull his chin up so he would look at me. "I love you too," "You do?" A smile grows on his face. "Yeah, I do.  I don't care if we've only been dating for a couple day, I love you Spencer Reid!" I said proudly. "I love you Zoey Hanson," he smiled one of the biggest smile I've ever seen. "We should get some sleep," I said "Yeah, we have a big case we need to focus on," he said walking away.

I get changed on in an oversized T-shirt and a pair of shorts and crawl in the bed I called dips on. "Good night Zo," Spencer calls from the other bed. "Good night Spence,"

I was all alone in a dark room, but the door was open. I slowly walk out of the room to see a long dark hallway. I heard a faint scream coming from the end of the hallway. The voice sound familiar, It can't be him. I run to the end of the hallway to find Spencer tide to a wall covered in blood. I tried to run to him but I couldn't . There was a glass wall separating us. A man dressed in all black starts to hit him."No, stop it!" I yell but it's no use."Spencer!" I yell to him. "Zoey!" I hear him yell back. "Spencer no!" I scream as loud as I can, "stop it!" "Zoey, Zoey,"

"Zoey, wake up, Zoey!" I hear him yell and I feel him shaking me. I snap out of my dream to see Spencer sitting beside me shaking me. I sit up as quickly as I can and warp my arms around his neck. "Spencer, you're okay!" I shout. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. What's wrong are you okay?" He asked hugging me tightly. "I'm fine now, I had bad dream," I said into the crook of his neck. "Sounded more than a bad dream," he rubbed my back comforting me. "I was in a dark room when I heard you scream, but I couldn't get to you. He was beating you and I couldn't get to you." I start to cry. "Hey Zo listen, I'm fine you're fine everything fine." He kisses my head and whips always my tears.  "It was so real, and you," he cut me off. "Baby listen it was just a nightmare, everything's okay." "Spence?" I said looking up at him. "Yeah Zo?" He looked into my eyes. "Will you stay with me?" "Of course I will," he got in the bed with me and I crawled into his arms. "Good night Zoey," "Good night," I sniffed. I fell asleep in his arms right away with no more nightmares. ------------------------------------A/NSorry this chapter was so long, I had a lot of ideas for this one.
