Chapter 14

JAYJAY POV

Today was Saturday so I didn't have work. Until Ella told me to go get her pregnancy craving. And did I let her boss me at 5 in the morning? Yes. Hey, no one wants to should with pregnant women. This advice comes from a woman who was pregnant twice before she turned 18. Her craving, mashed roasted potatoes and chocolate sauce. And ofcourse she wanted to get a specific type of roasted potato. So I drove their at 5 in the morning when I could have been sleeping with my kids. Percy had gone to go get some people that were going to visit us.  And Aries was fussing over Ella walking around.

I went to her favourite restaurant and bought some roasted potatoes. I also bought coffee for me and lemonades for my kids. I knew they had plenty at home but I wanted to be the fun, chill mum who was always there for you. I grew up with grandma and I didn't have Aries so I was often alone and missed my parents. I wouldn't be that type of parent for my kids. I picked up everything and headed home. It was now 8 because of the London traffic and because Papa's mansion was in a secluded area. Papa never liked drawing attention to himself so the Mariano Group was only known to incredibly wealthy.

I walked into the house. There was some chatter but that didn't stop me from yelling.

"MY DEAREST SISTER IN LAW! I HAVE BROUGHT THE GOODS!"I yelled as I walked into the living room. 

There seated was all of Section E. Mica, Grace, Freya and Rakki were there too with three kids. Yuri sat with my friend Reyna, whom I haven't seen since she was an intern at the hospital where I had my OBGYN appointments. She was a friend but we haven't been close since I gave birth to Kiara. She told me that she had become a pediatrician. Her eyes widened when she saw me and she gave a smile. On the other side of Yuri sat Keifer, whose face was shocked. He looked hurt and upset while I tried to keep my composure.

 I stared at him and then at Percy, Aries and Ella. They were the guests?! I put the food on a nearby table. This was bad in so many ways. One, I had no idea how to start a conversation with them. Second, how was I going to explain anything? Third, I probably looked hideous. Ella woke me up while I was sleeping so I wore a red compression shirt, black sweat pants and sneakers. My hair was in a bun. I had no reason to be meeting someone like this.

"You could have just told me."I said. My hands formed into fists, preventing me from trembling badly.

"Jay, calm down."Ella said. Ella was a therapist and she became my therapist after I gave birth to Kiara. I wanted to prevent my blood phobia from affecting my kids so I agreed.

"I am calm. I just didn't want to be greeted with people so early in the morning."I snapped back. I didn't mean to but I felt like they were invading my privacy.

"MUMMY!" A yell came upstairs. I looked at the staircase and there were my two hurricanes of a kid coming down. They ran straight into me causing me to the fall on the ground.

"OW!"I yelped. My back hit the floor with a loud thump. What did I do to deserve this?

KEIFER POV

When Percy walked through the doors of the hotel, I knew this was not going to be a normal day. He walked in with that crazy smile of his and greeted us.

"YO!"He said.

"Brother?"Felix answered.

"Baby brother! How are you?"He asked Felix, while giving him a hug.

"You were here?"Yuri asked.

"No I was in New York with my siblings. Let's go. Sis in law is waiting!"Percy said,  putting an arm around Felix.

He was living with Jay, all this time?! And Aries?! He led us out to two large vans. We could have been mistaken as celebrities.

"In these?"Edrix asked. He was trying to balance Ezra who was laughing. 

"What do you think?"Percy said. 

"All aboard. Next stop, Mariano house."Percy yelled when we all finally got in the vans. He had connected his phone to both vans so we had to drive listening to his awful music taste. He got yelled at when Freya was trying to calm Ezra down and soon Grace and Mica also joined in. The yelling ended as the kids lost it and the mothers went back to making them sleep.

Yuri and Reyna were sitting behind me, giggling watching Percy get scolded.

"That's going to be you soon, Yuri."I said. Yuri immediately flipped me off with a smile and Reyna turned red.

I laughed it off but my mind was filled with anything but laughter. What if Jay doesn't want to see me? What if my child doesn't care about me? What if she won't accept my apologies?

"We have arrived."Percy said. It had been awhile since I heard his voice so it startled me. We got out of the vans and saw the mansion. The Marianos were nothing like I imagined. I knew about the Marianos because of their seclusive and private companies. They were the companies funding a lot of new tech and development. They funded a lot of important public facilities across the world and I was planning to do a project with them. I just didn't know Jay would be the daughter of the chairman. So I thought the mansion would be simple but the mansion was built on a large amount of land. It was far away from London city but it still was accessible.

Percy opened the large doors which revealed a open hallway. We walked inside. This house looked like it would belong on pinterest. The hallway was large and had many famous paintings. The furniture was simple but it screamed rich. And when we got to the living room, a large family painting was there.

"It's our family. Jay's parents in the middle, Me and Aries on Uncle Jaspher's side, Ella and Jay on Auntie Jenna's side. And sitting on their laps, is my niece and nephew, Gabriel Fernandez Mariano and Kiara Mariano Watson."Percy said.

"WATSON?!"The rest of them yelled.

"Yeah? Didn't Keifer tell you that?"Percy said, looking confused. They all looked at me.

"She told me five years ago, on my birthday."I explained. I wasn't looking at them. I looked at the painting. It could be how the painter painted it but I was for certain that little girl, sitting on Jaspher Mariano's lap was indeed my daughter. She looked like my carbon copy but as a girl and younger.

"Sit down."Ella said. She was pregnant and behind her stood Aries, strong and protective. He was a legit guard for his wife. Ella sat down and Aries stood behind her. Percy then sat down next to her. If they were guards for Ella, I wonder what they are like with Jay.
