Seven

"Why is Namjoon so thin?!" Yoongi yelled out as he neared their table. Namjoon had been at home, he wasn't feeling well. Yoongi was going to uni and just wanted to say goodbye. He flashed past Namjoon's room and saw the skeleton Namjoon had become. He didn't say anything but rather stormed towards the uni they went to. Looking at Namjoon's body, it was horrifying, somewhat nauseating. "What do you mean Yoongi?" Seokjin asked, face dropping in a slight confusion. "Yoongs chill, what are you on about?" Jimin stood up, not getting why Yoongi was so upset.

"He is a fucking skeleton. Did you not happen notice his face being sunken in? Looking like actual death?" Yoongi was angry. "I was gone for 3 weeks?! What the fuck happened?!"

He knew Namjoon better than anyone and still he hadn't managed to see this. He did not know any better to shout through his guilt. Only now he saw Namjoon's state. Why? And how?

The word thin. Something clicked within Jimin hearing that word. Somehow he'd never payed attention to the way Namjoon's ribs showed though his shirt while he changing for PE. He'd never taken notice to the slight decrease in Namjoon's stamina every single week. But now they came clashing in, just by hearing the word thin.

"Did Namjoon even eat with us during lunch?" Hoseok asked to no one in particular, thinking about how he'd never quite realized Namjoon had been coming to lunch less and less. "He was always studying, I thought he was just stressed" Jungkook said, even if jt had been silent. "He said he ate though? He almost never lies. Why would he lie now?" Hoseok responded to Jungkook. "Do you think he has been doing this on purpose? I mean the starving bit? What if he's just been exercising more? Not being at lunch doesn't persé mean that he's not eating right?" Seokjin tried to make sense of it all, were his worries turning out to be the truth?

"He's too rational to starve himself, it's unlike Namjoon. He's got to have a reason for this." Taehyung tried to argue. Yoongi shook his head. "Being thát thin isn't rational. This isn't Namjoon. Even if he's got something, he did not do that." He said to Taehyung.

"Guys, do you remember that one group that used to pester Namjoon in high school?" Hoseok asked. "Could they be bullying him again? Namjoon I mean. One of those guys recently transferred here. He's taking the same classes as Namjoon." Hoseok added. "That can't be a coincidence right?" "Even if that's the case, even if he's starving himself or if he's just caught a strong stomach bug or if he's just been exercising a lot. Being that thin is not or ever healthy." Yoongi said.

"Namjoon is dying and we didn't notice." Seokjin said. Everyone was silent.
