I ended up falling asleep in Niall's car after all. I couldn't stop myself. It was the perfect temperature, it smelt like heaven, the seats were unbelievably comfy and the only noise was the soft hum of the engine that was barely noticeable. I didn't want to fall asleep but I did.

I was woken up when the car came to a stop. The engine switched off and the lights came on which made me wince and scowl and hide my face in the seat until they were turned off.

"Where am I?" I asked no one inpeticualr. My voice sounded disgusting.

"Outside your dad's house," Niall said from the drivers seat next to me and I jumped because I'd forgotten he was there.

"Wait... what?" I rubbed my eyes and squinted out the window to find us parked next to the pavement by the dad's old house.

"What? Oh don't tell me he moved house," Niall said, clearly pissed off.

"He moved house," I laughed, "This is some old womans house now. I think her name is Pauline or something like that."

"Are you joking?" Niall asked me.

I shook my head and laughed more even though it wasn't funny. Except, I found it hilarious and I have no idea why.

"Where's your flat, I'll take you there," Niall said to me, starting the engine again with a sigh. I knew he was trying so hard to be nice by taking me anywhere that wasn't his house but it wasn't working on making me forgive him.

I laughed, "Nice try, I'm not telling you where I live."

"Fine, I guess you'll have to come back to mine then," he said with a smirk and drove away in the opposite direction to my flat.

"Seriously?" I said, no longer laughing, "Why are you such a dick?"

"Hey! Your the one who is refusing to tell me where your house is. I only wanna know so I can drop you off and then get out of your hair."

I groaned, "Broadwick Street. I live on Broadwick Street."

"See, it wasn't that hard," Niall said as he pulled the car over and typed the name of my street into his satnav which then began saying a list of tedious instructions on where to go and where to turn. The satnav was a man and even worse, American which almost made me go mad because his accent was so strong.

"How's your cheek?" Niall asked as turned a corner, getting closer to Broadwick Street.

"Fine," I said sharply because I didn't want to tell him how much it was actually hurting.

"I'm sorry about that happened back there with that dude," he said quietly. I could tell it was bothering him just to think about it, "Did you get hurt anywhere else?"

"No, just my cheek."

"You know I would never hurt you like that right?"

"OH MY GOD!" I shouted suddenly and I saw him flinch at my sudden loud voice, "Niall that man was saying horrible things and was touching me all over and was tryna get me to take my clothes off for fuck's sake! Do you have any idea what it's like to be in that position?"

"No," he said almost silently.

"Exactly! You have no idea how it felt when he covered my mouth and I couldn't shout. I was more scared than I've ever been in my entire life because I thought I was going to be raped right there on a wall and now your trying to use this situation to get on my good side by saying you would never hurt me. God! Your so fucking self centered!"

Suddenly the car stopped, making me bang my head on my seat because the stop was so sudden. We were on the corner just before Broadwick Street so I could quite easily jump out the car and run to my flat but the doors were still locked. Niall turned in his seat to look at me full on. He took a drop breath and rubbed his eyes.

"I'm sorry," I immediately scoffed but he put his hand up to silence me, "No wait just hear me out, please," I sighed and nodded and he carried on, "I'm not very good at speeches, ok? I like to write things down even if it's just into letters but mostly I like to write my feelings and thoughts into songs and you know, make a bit of money by doing it."

"What is your point Niall," I pushed because I was angry and my cheek hurt and I wanted to go home.

"I'm getting there, ok?" he said and took a deep breath, "I don't want you to hate me, more than anything I want you to love me again. So expect me to do everything in my power to make you forgive me. Expect me to bring myself up in situations about you. Expect to hear my song that I wrote about you playing constantly on the radio. Expect me to carry on asking Liv if you've broken up with that stupid Jack guy yet so maybe you'd give us another go," Niall's face dropped when he'd realized what he'd said and he sat in complete silence waiting for my reaction.

"What," my voice broke.

"It's not what it sounds like," he tried to assure me, "If your happy with Jack then-"

"Niall," my voice was quiet but when he heard it he stopped talking immediately, "What has Liv been telling you?"

"Nothing really," he lied.

"What has she been telling you?" I asked again. My jaw was clenched now even though it hurt my cheek like crazy.

"She... anything that you tell her about you and Jack she tells me," the guilt in his voice was clearer than anything ever before.

"Your joking," I said trying to force out a chuckle but it didn't work, "Niall tell me your joking."

He looked down and shook his head and my entire body filled with anger.

"Let me out of this car!" I shouted when the door wouldn't open.

"Lily she-"

"Let me out now or I swear to fucking god I'll break the window and climb out!" I shouted again and Niall reluctantly pressed the button that unlocked the doors.

My door flew open when I finally opened it and climbed out. I slammed it shut causing it to make a loud thud. My legs walked fast around the corner and to the front door of the block of flats Liv and I lived in. The lights inside were off because it was late but the front door was still open like always.

"Lily stop!" Niall yelled from behind me and I marched up the stairs to the 4th floor, waiting for the lift would've taken to long. I didn't know he'd been following me although I seemed glad that he was.

I didn't stop when Niall told me to. I marched all the way to my front door and pulled my keys from my pocket. I found my flat key quickly and shoved it into the lock. The lock was stiff but it didn't take me long to slam open the door and walk into the living room that was dimly lit by a standing lamp. Liv was sat on the sofa eating popcorn with a huge fluffy blanket wrapped around her. Love Island was playing on the TV because it was one of her favourite shows but she paused it when I entered the flat.

"Hey your back late," Liv said when I walked over to her. I could tell Niall came in just seconds after me because Liv's eyes looked behind me and widened.

"You got anything to tell me, huh?" I snapped at her. She put her popcorn down next to her on the sofa and sat up straight.

"No I don't think so," she shrugged but I knew she was nervous.

"Really?" I tilted my head to the side, "I'll ask again. You got anything to tell me?"

"Lily I don't know what's gotten into you but I think you need to get some rest," she tried to pull me to my bedroom but I smacked her hand off me.

"Olivia!" I said loudly.

"What?" she said in a voice as loud as mine. I pointed to Niall and she acted confused, "Babe I don't know what your talking about."

"Liv c'mon just tell her already," Niall said. He was still stood by the door with his hands in his pockets but he looked exceptionally awkward just stood in my flat.

"She seems to already know!" Liv hissed at him, "You weren't meant to tell her!"

"Excuse me, I am here!" I said and pointed to myself because it seemed like they'd just completely forgotten I was in the room with them.

Liv sighed, "Sit down."

I clenched my jaw again and sat down in the corner of the sofa, picking up Liv's popcorn and eating it myself. She clearly wasn't hungry because I knew if she was she would've snatched it out my hand and shouted at me for eating her food.

Liv signaled for Niall to sit down as well. He walked forward and sat down awkwardly in our beanbag armchair. His eyes watched me the entire time Liv was explaining. He didn't even try to hide it.
