Mullingiar is a small, Irish town where everyone knows everyone. People say hi to neighbours on the streets and beep their horns when they're driving if the want to get someone who is walking's attention.

When Niall, Maura and I arrived at Niall's house after about an hour car journey Niall and I decided to go for a walk before anything so we could stretch our legs from sitting down for the majority of the morning. We didn't go far, just down the road and past a few shops however everyone seemed to recognise Niall. Not in a screaming fans way, in a very different way. Everyone just seemed to say good to see ya Niall or how's it going or hope your well. No one asked for an autograph or a picture with him. He could just simply walk along the street like he wasn't a celebrity because everyone knew him already.

"Greg!" Niall shouted just as we were waiting to cross a road. A brunette man who was on the opposite side of the road to us looked around in confusion to see who had yelled his name. He was carrying 4 bags from Tesco, 2 in each hand, and had stopped walking when Niall had called his name.

"Over here you idiot!" Niall laughed and Greg finally spotted us and smiled.

When a car finally stopped and let me and Niall cross the road Niall lunged towards Greg and pulled him in for a hug. I stood awkwardly next to them as they hugged and patted each others backs.

"Do me a favour and take one of these bags will ya," Greg said when they finally let go of each other. Niall took 2 bags off Greg without arguing. It was clear him and his brother got on well unlike Tyler and me.

"Hiya I'm Greg, Niall's older brother. You must be Lily," Greg said once he'd moved the 2 left over shopping bags into one hand so he could shake mine.

"That's me, it's lovely to meet you," I shook his hand and smiled.

"Niall tells me you'll be joining us for Christmas."

"Yeah, that's the plan," I replied feeling uncomfortable that I was having a one on one conversation with Niall's brother. I looked at Niall who stood beside me to try and tell him I was uncomfortable and he nodded to signal that he understood.

"You know Greg I think Lily and I are gonna head back to mum's and dad's," Niall broke the silence that had taken over the conversation.

"Great! I was just walking there now," Greg said, "We might as all walk together right?"

"Sure why not," I said fast. I didn't want to hurt his feelings by saying we didn't want to walk with him because it was my first time meeting him and I was desperate to get Niall's family to like me.

The three of us walked back to Niall's parents house together. Niall and Greg talked about things I didn't know anything about most of the time but I didn't mind. I wasn't really in the mood for talking because I had started getting tired again so I just walked next to Niall and admired the town until we arrived at his parents house.

"Dad I'm home! And Lily is here so come down," Niall yelled up the stairs when we walked in the front door. His house was warm and made my cheeks go red because it had been cold outside. There was a wonderful smell of a chicken cooking that clearly came from the kitchen and it made my mouth water. I heard Maura talking to Greg in another room about food.

"Lila is it?" Niall's dad said even though Niall had just said my name on his way down the stairs. Despite the hallway not having the best light, it was clear who Niall got his blue eyes from. Niall's dads were just as blue as Niall's, a little lighter even.

"It's Lily," I corrected him.

"Right, sorry," he apologised, "I'm Bobby, Niall's dad."

"Nice to meet you," I said and we shook hands. It wasn't long until Niall was hugging his dad and I was left standing awkwardly waiting for the hug to be over.

"I put your bags in Niall's room so your welcome to go and unpack seeing as though you'll be staying for a while," Bobby told me.

"Tha-" I was cut off by a yawn that I couldn't hold in. I put a finger up to try and tell them that I hadn't finished speaking but the yawn just carried on and wouldn't let me speak.

"I'll leave you to it," Bobby said with a chuckle and walked past us, down the hallway and into a room.

"Thank you," I said quietly when my yawn finally went away but Bobby had gone so he didn't hear.

"Looks like someone is a bit tired," Niall laughed.

I shook my head at him, "No, I am 110% awake."

"Alright whatever you say," he laughed again and so did I, "Let's go unpack your things."

I nodded and followed him up the stairs and into a room. The walls were all painted white. There was a double bed with black covers placed perfectly in the center of the wall that was furthest away from the door. It was perfectly made and it was clear that it hadn't been slept in for a while. In one corner of the room was a light oak wardrobe. It was no where near as large as Niall's walk in one back in his London home but it didn't need to be because Niall didn't stay at his parents for hugely long periods of time. In another corner was a grey love seat. It matched the one Niall had in his living room in London. On the chair was my bag and next to it was my suitcase.

I was about to go and unpack my bags when I felt Niall's arms wrap around my waist and his breath on my neck. I got goosebumps all over my body and couldn't hold in the small smile that came onto my face.

"Whatcha doing?" I said quietly.

"Nothing."

I turned myself around, his arms still wrapped around my waist, to look at him. Our faces were just inches away from each others and when Niall smiled and kissed my cheek I blushed dramatically.

"Why do you always blush?" he said with a smirk.

I blushed again at his mention of my constant turning red, "I don't know I guess it's just how my body works."

"Hmm," Niall smiled, "I think it's cute."

I blushed for the third time in one minute and Niall laughed slightly, "You just can't stop can you."

"Your making me do it," I protested.

"Oh really," he kissed me, "How?"

"I don't know but I always seem to blush the most when I'm around you."

"That's just my natural charm."

"Oh yeah, definitely," I said sarcasticly and kissed him again. He smiled but didn't say anything back.

Niall's arms didn't move to the usual place that they went when we kissed. Instead they lifted my legs off the ground so they were wrapped around his body and he was the only thing keeping me off the floor.

His arms were under my bum so I didn't fall and it felt strange but good. The kiss was more passionate than any other kiss we'd had before. It wasn't so gentle as our previous ones. It was far rougher and in less than 2 minutes of it, my back was pushed against the bedroom door and Niall's lips were moving further down my neck and making my breathing heavier until they couldn't go any further. His hoodie that I had stolen from him a couple of days before forced him to stop kissing me while I tore it off my body, leaving me in a light blue, ribbed, cropped tank top with a low neckline.

"No no no, I have to wear these," I said when Niall lifted my rings off my chest ever so slightly.

"I know princess, I wasn't taking them off. I was just looking at them," he explained softly.

"Oh," I said, embarrassed.

He smiled, "They're really pretty you know."

"I know."

"Just like you," I blushed at his words like always and he kissed me again on the lips. Just as I had hooked my arms around his neck, Maura's voice shouted up to us from downstairs.

"Niall darlin' lunch is ready!"

"Alright!" he yelled back and moved his arms so I could stand back on the floor.

"I'm just gonna change into something a bit nicer," I told him as I walked over to my suitcase.

He nodded, "Ok, I'll be downstairs."

The door shut after him and I unzipped my suitcase to try and find an outfit that was nicer than the blue tank top and joggers I was wearing.
