Icy, col air was the first thing I felt the next morning. It was clear that I was outside but I just didn't know how. I forced my eyes to flutter open and I was met by a dark sky filled with tiny shinning stars. I suddenly realised I was being carried by Niall because his musky-vanilla smell was right next to my face.

"Where are we going?" I asked, my voice croaky from sleep.

"The car is here to take us to the airport princess," Niall explained to me. I heard the doors of a car open and I was placed down carefully onto the cold seats. I was still wearing Niall's hoodie but I still shivered from how cold the seats were mixed with the freezing, morning air of outside.

"No come back," I whined when Niall turned and walked back towards my house. It was clear that he wasn't sleepy at all and I knew he was going to come back but I wanted him to stay next to me and keep me warm.

I saw him walking back to the car wheeling my Louis Vuitton suitcase that Liv had given me on my 18th birthday. She'd only been able to afford it because her parents let her get me anything for my birthday just because they have so much money and because I'm her best friend. I had wanted one for so many years but I would never be able to afford one in a million years so when I opened the huge box on my 18th birthday I had started crying immediately.

I heard a few grunts from the back of the car as Niall and the driver loaded my bags into the boot. It didn't take them long and soon Niall was sat next to me in the back seats letting me lean my head on his shoulder.

"Wait what about your bags?" I said suddenly as we passed a service station on the motorway.

"I don't need any cause I have clothes at home and I'm not like you and need to take endless hair things and makeup and shit," he teased and I scowled even though he couldn't see my face properly because it was still dark.

I thought about arguing back but I didn't have the energy so instead I just said quietly, "I'm tired."

"Go to sleep then," Niall said as if it was the simplest thing in the world.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because this is our first holiday together and I don't want to waste precious time by sleeping," I sighed. My eyes had started staying shut just slightly longer that the time before every time I blinked and I knew very soon I would just fall straight asleep.

Niall chuckled, "I would much rather you spend this car ride and the flight time sleeping and then being happy and awake when we arrive at my parents house than forcing yourself to stay awake this whole time and then being tired and moody when we arrive at my parents house."

"Yeah but-" I began to fight back but he raised a finger to my mouth to silence me and said in a slightly intimidating tone, "Go to sleep."

"I love you," is all I whispered before letting my tiredness take over. I felt myself relax into the now warm seat of the car. My head was no longer resting on Niall's shoulder but pushing just a small amount against his bicep, using it sort of like a pillow. I heard Niall say I love you more so quiet that even if one of us was breathing to loudly I wouldn't have been able to hear it. I longed to have a miny, pretend but also not pretend fight with him about who loved who more but I was just to out of energy to so I figured I would challenge him another time.

I went to sleep with the world's best smelling human right next to me who also happened to be the love of my life.

Our car pulled up at the airport it was around 5:45 in the morning. The sky was still dark when we stepped out and made our way to the plane. It wasn't like when you normally go to the airport and I should've known it wouldn't have been because I was with Niall freaking Horan.

We were escorted to the plane by men in black suites with sunglasses. There were masses amounts of paparazzi even though it was still early in the morning and it made me uncomfortable because I'd never had as much public attention before in my life. It seemed for Niall however that it was normal. He seemed to know exactly where to go so when he reached out behind him to my hand I took it and held it tight because I had no idea what was going on and I was still unbelievably tired.

When we finally reached the steps up to the plane I felt a hint of relief. It seemed like we'd been escorted for miles when in reality it had only been about a 50 meters. When we entered the plane I couldn't stop my eyes from going wide at how luxurious it was. There were white chairs facing opposite each other with a small table in the middle near the doorway. On wall right next to the tables were plug sockets. Past the seats in the centre of the room was a sofa that stretched along the wall. It looked like the seats except it was longer and had black cushions in the corners. Across from the sofa were 2 more chairs. They were angled at a diagonal so they were looking inwards slightly. There was a table in between them, bigger than the ones in between the other chairs but not a full sized table. I put my small handbag that had my phone, purse and sunglasses in. I knew I wouldn't wear the sunglasses because it was winter but for some reason I kept them in there all year round just in case.

"Welcome to one of the many one direction planes," Niall said and I turned back round to face him.

"It's nice," I said as I hooked my arms round his neck, "Very nice."

"I'm glad it fits your standards," he said with a smirk before giving me a short kiss on the lips. I pouted and attempted to kiss him again.

"I love you but the pilot is gonna be coming inside in a few minutes and I don't wanna have to stop kissing you half way through," he told me.

"Good point," I said and he kissed the tip of my nose before we walked over the the sofa and sat down. The pilot entered not long after and it was obvious that Niall knew him. The sky was just beginning to get lighter as we began flying.

About 10 minutes into the flight Niall switched on a laptop that was already in the plane when we arrived and began watching a TV show on Netflix that I'd never seen before. He laughed at a few of the jokes and I laughed at his laugh. I was still a little tired but not nearly as much as earlier that morning so I decided to stay awake during the flight which turned out to be a good idea because Niall's mum had been waiting for us at the airport when we landed and it would've been embarrassing to meet her if I had only just woken up.
