Chapter 14

Han was excited to see Lee Know. Not because of the homework and assignments, but because he loved doing them with Lee Know. They'd been doing this for two weeks now and Han didn't want it to end. The doctor did say a month's bed rest so he was ok for now.

"Maybe I should get into a car accident again after my bed rest is over." Han pondered. "Or maybe, break a leg! Wait, did I just make a pun?" Han thought deeply. He even had to scratch his head!

There was a soft knock at the door and a voice said, "Jisung! I'm here." Han chuckled and told Lee Know to come in. Lee Know walked inside looking tired and threw his bag on the floor. Han sat up a little in his bed seeing how worn out and stressed Lee Know looked. Han frowned, "Can we eat ice-cream?"

Lee Know blinked and Han internally cringed thinking, "Just because ice-cream helps me when I am stressed, doesn't mean it will help him too!"

Lee Know smiled a little and nodded. Before Lee Know could walk out, Han asked quickly, "What happened today? Are you ok?"

Lee Know paused and turned around. He slowly walked to Han's bed and climbed on top of him. Lee Know hovered over Han, who had laid down again. Han gulped as he felt his face heating up. Lee Know said in a low voice, "Just a small argument."

Han gulped again and stuttered, "W-what ab-about?"

Lee Know smirked and Han felt his blood rush to his cheeks. Lee Know suddenly sat up, still on top of Han's body and shouted, "Ice-cream!" Han scoffed feeling Lee Know get up from him as Lee Know ran to get the ice-cream bucket.

Right... Ice-cream first.

Meanwhile,

Sunflower:

Hey Felix

Sunshine:

What is it?

Sunflower:

I wanted to apologise for today

Sunshine:

You didn't even do anything wrong

Lee Know's the one I am mad at

Sunflower:

Sunshine:

Sunflower:

I guess being mad is a younger brother thing then

Sunflower:

But I like talking to you

Sunshine:

Sunflower:

Good, because I will ruin your eyes instead

Why is texting easier than talking?

Sunflower:

Sunshine:

No, you are my flower

I am the Sun's flower, not yours

Sadly, the Sun is already taken

Lee Know walked in with a tub of ice-cream and two spoons, making Han smile. Lee Know got in bed with Han, snuggling up with him in the blanket. Both of them started eating silently, when the silence was broken by Lee Know, "Hyunjin."

Han paused mid bite and asked, "What?"

"I had an argument with Hyunjin."

Han frowned, "Why?"

"Him and Felix were talking..."

"Minho..."

"I know they're free to do whatever, but what about your dad?! Why does it feel like I am the only one fighting!" Lee Know said, his breathing quick.

Han kept a hand on Lee Know's shoulder and pulled him back, "You aren't alone, I am here. See?"

Lee Know let out a breath, and Han said, "We'll protect them. Together."

Han looked into Lee Know's eyes with a soft smile. Lee Know looked conflicted for a moment, but Han made him feel so comforted. Lee Know smiled and took Han's hands in his. Han smiled widely and Lee Know nodded a little.

Meanwhile also,

Chan was nervous. No, he was panicking. What was he supposed to wear for the date? What did Seungmin like? Where was Chan even taking Seungmin?!

Chan panicked more. He'd asked Seungmin out in a hurry. He hadn't gotten time to plan things out first. Suddenly, his phone rang, making him jump off the couch. He rolled over the table onto the floor. Groaning, Chan picked up his call, it was Seungmin.

"Hey Bang Chan, where are you taking me today?" Seungmin asked.

"Uh, it's uh... surprise?" Chan said.

"Oooh nice. Anyways, should I wear formal, casual, or just comfortable clothes?"

"Just, wear anything you are comfortable with. I want to see you for you today."

Seungmin smiled from his side of the call, knowing Chan couldn't see it, "Ok."

Chan let out a relieved breath that he didn't sound like an idiot who didn't know what he was doing. Chan decided to wear something casual as well, but he still couldn't figure out where to take Seungmin. He just hoped Seungmin won't be picky.
