Chapter 4: Invitations

I walked into the kitchen and noticed Stoner cooking something. I think I got a little more exited then I should've. Because for some reason, Stoner is a great chef.

"Hey man, what're you cooking?"

He started to look and sound nervous. "Oh! Uh, hey Veteran! You asked what I'm cooking? It's uh... It's a surprise!"

I was confused as heck wondering what "surprise" was in that pot. Though I had just assumed it was something illegal. 

"Stoner, be honest, is it something illegal?"

You know that face a dog makes when it realizes it's been caught doing something it shouldn't? That is the exact face Stoner made. He was definitely eager to change the subject. When he did say something, he asked if Player and I were going to go to his party tonight.

"Dude, you and me both know what happened at your last party with us. I do not want a repeat of that incident." 

"I promise I won't spike the punch this time if you come."

Ok, to be fair, that's a really good offer. Especially from Stoner. Not having spiked punch at a party? Yes please! Only because of Player's really low alcohol tolerance, though. And trust me, you do not want to see Player drunk or high. Let's just say he gets a little... clingy.

Anyways, I just accepted Stoner's invite and went to go get ready. Something tells me he's still going to hand out drinks and drugs and all that. Classic Stoner.
