Part 12
03:38, 13 March 2015Rin's POV
As I jogged around, looking for Sakura and Sasuke, I heard a loud, feminine scream. "Sakura..." I muttered. A couple minutes later, I finally found Sasuke. His body was buried in the ground, only his head popping out. I stifled a laugh. "Hi Sasuke." I said. "Shut up and get me out" He growled. I sighed, "Okay, but listen. The key to this exercise is teamwork. He obviously only has two bells to turn us against each other. He wants us to put our selfish feelings aside, and work as a team." I said, matter of factly. "Hn, makes sense." Sasuke grunted. "We'd better go find Sakura." He said, looking around. "Yup, I heard her scream earlier." I said, finally succeeding in pulling him out.
Kakashi sure works fast. By the time we got to Sakura, we found her passed out on the ground, twitching. "Genjutsu." Sasuke said. I nodded in agreement. I placed two fingers on her head, muttering, "release." Sakura sat up, and when she saw Sasuke, started hugging him to death. I saw his eye twitch, as he was trying not to stab her with a kunai. After I got Sasuke to explain the situation and the plan, we sprang in to action.
Sasuke's POV
I took my position in the bush, waiting for the right time. I had to admit, Rin was pretty smart. Sakura's part is coming up. A wave of kunai shot at Kakashi Sensei. As expected, he dodged them, and the next wave from the opposite direction. Of course, being all cocky, he said again, "regular kunai won't work on me!" I smirked, and heard Sakura say, "they aren't normal kunai, sensei." As he looked, his eyes widened.
Sakura was right. They weren't normal kunai. They had strings of paper bombs attached. The string restrained him to a 10m area. Making it a lot easier to fight him. My turn. I thought."Fire style: fireball jutsu!" I yelled, shooting a fire ball. He tried to do a water wall, but he was completely clueless about the fireball coming from the back. Shot by Rin. Sensei saw it at the last minute, just barely dodging it. But fortunately, Rin had already explained that, and she darted in, grabbing the bells, and I grabbed two sticks, and performed a substitution, smiling.
We got you Kakashi, we got you.
