Part 5

Kiba's POV

As I ran with Akamaru as fast as I could, I worried about Rin. Not that I didn't believe in her abilities, but the thought of one ninja student fighting four jonin was scary.

Bursting in to the hokage's office, the only one standing there was Shikamaru's father, Shikaku. "Where's lord hokage?" I asked hurriedly. Shikaku looked at me kind of weirdly and said, "he's having a conference but you can't-" I dashed our of the room before he could finish his sentence. "Sniff him out boy" I said to Akamaru. He ran down a hallway and paused at a set of doors. I patted Akamaru on the head and shoved the doors open, yelling "lord Hokage it's an emergency!" everyone inside turned to stare at me.

Lord hokage stood up. He knew my mother so he knew me too. "Kiba, what happened?" I managed to get out, "attack, sensei, unconscious, Rin, fight, Jonin, 4."Lord hokage stared at me and said, "Kiba calm down, now repeat, what?" "We got attacked by 4 sound village jonin, and Iruka sensei got knocked out, and I'm coming for help and Rin's trying to hold off the ninja by herself!"I yelled urgently. Lord hokage's eyebrows shot up. He looked at one of the Jonin standing beside him and said, "Asuma, get Guy, Kakashi, Linux, and Yugao, and head to the academy with Kiba."

Asuma's POV

I ran towards the ANBU base, with the kid with the dog running after me. On the way there, I spotted Kakashi and Guy standing at the door of the grocery store and yelled "Kakashi, Guy! Come here! Emergency! I'll explain on the way!"

Kakashi's POV

"What!?!?" I yelled. Completely astounded. I was heading to the academy with Asuma, Gai, Linux, and Yugao. According to what I'd heard, Rin, a ninja academy student was holding off 4 jonin from the village hidden in the sound. I prayed that by the time we got there, she wouldn't get killed. No wonder why we brought a medic...

Rin's POV

I hope Kiba got help, I thought. I had no idea how to undo the jutsu trapping my friends. It was probably being held by the jutsu user, so I had to take him out. My eyes focused on the two remaining ninja. Suddenly a smoke screen enveloped me. My already fuzzy vision got worse, and I coughed, unable to see or sense anything. Out of the smoke, a water dragon jutsu overwhelmed me. I slammed in to a tree and heard a loud crack. Probably 3 or 4 of my ribs were broken, the same number cracked. I groaned, trying to get up, until I realized I was tied to the tree by chakra strings.

As the smoke cleared, I saw the katana wielder running towards me. Since I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything. The katana plunged in to my stomach, and sunk a few centimeters in to the tree. I bent over, coughing up blood. I knew that I was probably going to die. But I knew if I did, so would all my friends. I yanked free of the strings, charging towards him once more.

I grabbed the katana and yanked it out. Slashing the guy down. My eyes fell on the last ninja. Who had stolen my black sword. Immediately, I was filled with rage. I ran towards him, pulling a kunai out of the holster. I threw it at him, and he dodged to the side. I grabbed my sword by the hilt, and pulled it out of his hand. Unfortunately, he grabbed my wrist and snickered.

He thrust my wrist backwards. I heard a loud snap, and the sword fell out of my hand. I clutched my broken wrist, and the ninja said, "can't use your sword anymore huh?" I grinned, I grabbed my sword with my left hand, and thrust it at him, he was fast and dodged my sword strike. "I'm ambidextrous idiot" I said. He tried to feint a blow, I saw right through it. My sword moved, I didn't want to kill him, so smacked him on the head with the flat of my blade, giving him a nasty concussion.

As the ninja fell down with a thump, I swung my sword to get rid of the blood, and sheathed it. The chakra barrier around my friends disappeared, and I undid the one surrounding Sakura, Iruka sensei, and Soul. Glancing at Iruka sensei, I noticed that his breathing had regulated. Making sure that my friends were okay, (even though most of them were staring at me open mouthed) I smiled. I heard footsteps from the other direction, and I turned around. Kiba, Asuma sensei, Guy sensei, Kakashi sensei, and two ANBU black ops were staring at the fight scene, shocked. I smiled, and said, "You're a bit late, you missed the fight." Before anyone could say anything, my legs suddenly gave out, and my vision went black.
