1:37am

The gang of seven had traveled back to their home to get Hoseok's wounds treated from the sudden accident. The six boys wanted to know what happened but respected that Hoseok needed his rest and that they'd ask when he was treated first. They reached a large house that had seemed to belong to Namjoon's family as that's where he suggested to go. Jimin and Seokjin helped Hoseok onto Jungkook's back as Jungkook carried him over to the house entrance. Namjoon led the way, all the maids and servants quickly moving over while some showed them to an empty room. Yoongi and Taehyung followed after them as they placed Hoseok in the large room and laid him on the bed. He grunted as his back made contact with the mattress and he felt his skin burn when Seokjin tried to remove his shirt. "Where's the doctor I called for?!" Namjoon yelled as he looked around at all the maids and servants who couldn't make eye contact with him. They were told not to meet the boy's eyes since he was young as he had a high place in the house, yet they would admit that they were a bit terrified to meet his eyes as well. Suddenly, the doctor came rushing through the door out of breath and sweat rolling down his forehead as if he just ran a marathon. Namjoon quickly dragged him over to the bed where Hoseok laid, weak and limb. Namjoon gestured for the rest of the boys to leave which they couldn't do anything but comply. The five boys left to stand in the room across from them whereas they began to reflect on the hectic night. "So," Jimin spoke. "Did they..." he trailed off while looking at Taehyung, not wanting to continue his sentence since he knew it would be crucial. Taehyung felt all eyes on him— he felt irritated that he had all of the attention but he knew that he was the reason for their concerned gazes. Taehyung knew that the others knew about his feelings and he hated that they knew him so well but he was thankful at the same time since they didn't pry anymore questions onto him in that moment. He was still confused and still hurt as his mind wasn't in the right place at all. He didn't know what to think right now, his thoughts were only filled up with his concern over you. He wondered if you were okay and wondered if you were still alive. He didn't want to think of the worse case scenario; he wanted to have a little bit of hope that he would find you and hold you in his arms again. After a few minutes of waiting, Namjoon finally brought the boys back into the room that revealed Hoseok's body covered in bandages and wraps. The doctor and servants then left the room which left the gang of seven alone together inside. Only silence was heard until Taehyung spoke, "Are you okay?" Hoseok looked up and slowly nodded his head but his gaze suddenly shifted into sadness and despair, such expression was not familiar to his usual bright smiles. "Yeah, but are you...?" Hoseok asked Taehyung which caught the younger one off guard. As much as he wanted to question his older friend, he knew what he had to say first. "I'm not angry, Hoseok. I promise I'm okay." He watched as Hoseok's worried eyes slowly turned soft as his shoulders slumped, showing his relief. "What happened last night?" Yoongi asked, bringing up the topic they've all been dying to know. Hoseok's eyes shifted and he looked down to his bandaged wrist on his left arm, playing with the fabric to cope with his overwhelming feelings. "There were so many of them but..." he said. "Without her, I'd probably be dead." Taehyung looked away when they began to talk about you— he knew that he had to be strong but he couldn't help but feel his heart break when thinking of you. "Tell us everything that happened," Namjoon said. "We need as much information as we can get." Hoseok sighed and shifted in the bed slightly before speaking, "It all just went by so fast..."

(Flashback)

Hoseok froze when he saw a gun pointing at him while he quickly hid you behind his back. He gripped onto your wrist as five more men came in with their guns loaded and huge bottles in hand. Hoseok glanced to the bottles and sniffed gasoline, not getting a good feeling as he held you closer to him. With his other free hand, Hoseok grabbed the gun that was strapped around his thigh and continuously began to shoot at the six men who surprisingly didn't shoot back. Hoseok knew he wounded some of them but he jerked back when flames blew up in his face. He heard you scream behind him which made him turn to see if you were okay but he let out a painful scream as well when he felt his body being hit from behind. Hoseok had no choice but to let you go and turn to fight off the guys who attacked him; they tried stabbing him and shot him a few times but Hoseok wasn't fazed. At least he tried not to be. As much pain he felt, he refused to stop fighting. As he inhaled, he began to choke and cough uncontrollably giving a chance for the strangers to push him and shove him into the bubbling pits of fire. Hoseok screamed and rolled over to the dry part of the floor, continuing to cough and wince at the painful wounds he had received. Just as he was about to force himself to stand, he saw a tiny body figure crouched in front of him. "Please stop!" He heard you scream. "Please, let him live. If you want me, then take me! Just please let him go." Shocked at your words, Hoseok grabbed your arm. "Don't be stupid, you're not going with them—" "You should watch your mouth," one of the strangers said. "Or shall I kill you right now?" Hoseok saw you vigorously shake your head in refusal with tears streaming down your smoke stained cheeks. "No, no, please let him live! I'll do anything, just don't kill him." You begged which caused the six mysterious men to smirk. Two dragged you up to stand and quickly shoved you out from the room. "Go ahead and escape," one of them said with a smirk. "If you even can." The rest quickly left the burning cabin, leaving Hoseok to fend for himself. He called for your name to see if you were still in the house and he didn't realize that tears were also running down his cheeks. The air was only getting thicker and it was getting harder to breathe; Hoseok knew that it was time to leave. He slowly made his way out of the cabin and stumbled his way out of the door, looking up to see Taehyung by his side to help him walk. "What happened?" He managed to hear him speak over the ringing in his ears. "T-they..." Hoseok mumbled, tears streaming down his cheeks. "They took her..."

The six boys were silent as Hoseok finished telling the story. They were all in shock yet they didn't know how else to react. They felt angry and frustrated that they had you but they also felt disappointment that they themselves couldn't protect you as they had promised. It was a huge mixture of emotions that The Seven had felt. "I'm sorry guys. I failed my mission..." Hoseok apologized but Jungkook was quick to speak. "Don't apologize. You did all the best you could and I'm sure y/n appreciates all you've done." The others nodded their heads in agreement but they could tell that as Hoseok tried to smile, he was still disappointed with himself. "It'll be okay," Jimin tried to reassure him. He sat down on the bed next to Hoseok and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "We'll find her. Don't blame yourself for this, okay?" Hoseok glanced to his friends and slowly nodded, trying to push the feeling of guilt away in his heart. Namjoon sighed, "Let's rest up for the night and figure out a plan tomorrow. Hoseok needs his rest and we all need to sleep too." The seven agreed and one by one left the room but a certain male was held back. "Taehyung," Hoseok called before he could walk out of the room. Taehyung turned his head and looked over, concerned as he saw Hoseok's serious expression. "What's wrong?" He asked. Hoseok sighed and gestured him to walk back to the bed where he was and Taehyung did so; he walked back to the bed and sat down at the edge as where Hoseok's feet were. "We need to talk about something," Hoseok said which made Taehyung confused. He didn't understand why they need to talk; they agreed to talk about the plan tomorrow and they were already debriefed on the situation. He couldn't figure out what else there was a need to talk about, but that was until Hoseok said,

"It's about y/n."
