part 7
01:44, 21 June 2021Your POV.
After many hours of chatting and listening to hilarious stories, you finally decided to head to bed. The conversation with the boys had lasted almost six hours and you nor did the boys notice that the time had flew by. It was around 9pm and you tucked yourself into your bed, feeling more comfortable than you had ever been these past few days. You sighed happily as you lied down and stared up at the ceiling. The day had suddenly ran through your mind as where you realized that it had been quite a while since you laughed so hard. It had been a while since you had fun and felt happy, and you were glad to had felt the excitement and joy all over again. Just as you were about to close your eyes to sleep, you heard your phone buzz and light up the dark room with the screen. You reached over and saw a message.
Stalker Taehyung:Hey, you asleep yet?
Y/N:Not yet. What's up?
Taehyung:Nothing much. I just thought I'd check up on you. Everything okay?
Y/N:Yeah everything is fine. It's great, actually.
Taehyung:Great, huh? Seems like something had a good day.
Y/N:I'm not going to lie, today was a pretty good day.
Taehyung:I'm happy if your highness is happy. :)
Y/N:.... I'm going to puke
Taehyung:Oh really, Princess?
Y/N:*casually vomits on the floor*
Taehyung:Haha you're cute
Y/N:Mm thanks, I guess.
Taehyung: You seem to not like the special treatment I give you.
Taehyung:You know, being your bodyguard and all.
Y/N:I never asked for this "special treatment"
Taehyung:Don't worry, you'll love it soon enough.
Taehyung:But I heard you laughing your ass off earlier. Was seokjin that funny?
Y/N:It was hilarious! The stories he told me about you guys were completely weird and stupid LMAO
Taehyung:He was probably exaggerating everything
Y/N:It was still fucking funny
Taehyung:Yeahhhh
Taehyung:I'm glad you had a good time
Taehyung:It's good to finally see you smile
Y/N:So you're stalking me again?
Taehyung:No I—
Taehyung:I'm not stalking you!
Y/N:Then why were you watching me?
Taehyung:Cause your loud ass wouldn't shut up
Y/N:Are you glad or are you salty now?
Taehyung:Whatever, just keep that smile and I'll try not to get on your nerves. Deal?
Y/N:Why does it seem like you're so concerned about me?
Taehyung:Probably because I am.
Taehyung:We all know how it feels to lose family members, especially in accidents like the one your parents were involved in.
Taehyung:We somehow found comfort when we needed it most and we're all just trying to give it back to you.
Y/N:That's... really sweet of you guys. Thank you.
Taehyung: We're just glad you're beginning to feel happier.
Taehyung:Well, that's all I wanted to say. I'll let you rest up. See you tomorrow. Goodnight.
Y/N:Yeah, goodnight.
10:27am
You yawned and stretched yourself across the bed, groaning at how tired you were. You surprisingly lifted yourself up easier than anticipated and your body wasn't as sore as before. As you sat up on the bed, you tilted your head from side to side and felt your neck crack slightly. You looked down to your arms and legs that were still bandaged and covered in wraps which slightly came loose. You reached down to unwrap the bandages and sighed in relief when your cuts were no longer blood red but faded into a light shade of brown that would probably leave some scars upon your skin for some time. You decided to leave the bandage on your arm there since you were sure it was still bleeding but slipped off the other wraps around your body. "Hey y/n— um, what are you doing?" Taehyung spoke as he walked into your room, watching you gather the pile of wraps on the bed. "These wraps were getting loose but my wounds are starting to look better," You replied and looked up to him. "So I figured that I didn't need them anymore." He nodded slightly and crouched down on one knee, staring carefully at the faded cuts and burns on your legs. "Are you sure you don't need more rest, though?" You shook your head and strongly stood up on your own, hopping from side to side which made Taehyung confused. "See, I'm perfectly fine!" You smiled and looked at him with wide, innocent eyes. You felt genuine happiness that you regained your strength and you could see that Taehyung felt glad when a smile appeared on his face as well. "I'm glad, Princess." He said and before you could protest, he continued to speak. "But the guys and I are planning to go out and buy some food and supplies. Is there anything you want or need?" You blinked and shook your head, but as he was about to head out to leave you said, "I want to come too!" Taehyung stopped and looked over at you with furrowed eyebrows and frowning lips. "No, you can't come." "Why not?" You asked and crossed your arms over your chest. "I'll be with you guys so I'll be perfectly fine!" He sighed and shook his head while crossing his arms over his chest, trying to replicate how stubborn you were being. "That's not the point y/n," he said. "People think you're dead. We already discussed that you need to be kept hidden and that also includes going to the store." You gave him a pout and groaned, releasing your arms from their hold. "That's true but-" "No buts y/n. That's final." Taehyung said which caused you to frown deeply. You understood why you were to be kept hidden but you were desperate to get out of the cabin. You've spent all your time there and you were beginning to feel bored lying in bed all day, not even able to do much on your phone since you deleted most of your apps. It felt like you were restricted to everything and anything and you hated it; it sucked to be dead. You scoffed before sitting back on the bed and looking away, obviously acting childish but you couldn't care less. You felt like Taehyung was treating you as a kid. "Hey, you ready to go?" Yoongi said as he poked his head into the room. Hoseok followed after him and looked into the room and stared at you, noticing your scrunched expression. "What's wrong?" Hoseok asked but Taehyung shrugged, "She's just upset because she wants to come with us to get supplies but I won't let her." Hoseok noticed you roll your eyes behind Taehyung's back and fought back a chuckle. "So what do we do?" Yoongi spoke up as he looked down to his younger friend, who seemed to be deep in thought. Suddenly, Taehyung's face lit up with a smirk. "I'll stay here with her." You looked up and raised an eyebrow. "What?"
11:49am
"I hate you." You said as you looked up at the ceiling, laying your back down on your mattress as Taehyung was situated on the ground. The back of his head was facing you and he scrolled through his phone and often sent some messages here and there. "This is so boring..." you whined while rolling back and forth on the bed. For the past hour, you have only been staring and scanning the room with your eyes while Taehyung completely ignored your presence. This time, however, he turned off his phone and turned to look your way. "You seem to be dying of boredom, Princess." He teased as you scoffed at the nickname once again. "I am dying. There's absolutely nothing to do." You exclaimed and saw Taehyung chuckle besides you. He rested his chin on his palm as he propped his arm on the edge of the bed, continuing to stare directly as you. "Well, how about we play a game?" Taehyung suggested which immediately caught your attention. "Anything to get rid of the boredom," you sighed. "What kind of game is it?" Taehyung smiled, his cheekbones rising in excitement. "You get to ask me however many questions you'd like," he said which you nodded. "Sounds easy enough-" as you spoke he quickly cut you off. "But I get to ask you the same amount of questions that you asked me." He finished which caused you to fall silent. You knew then that you couldn't ask so much questions or else he would bombard you with just as many, and just imagining it was extremely annoying. You became irate just thinking about it. "Fine," you agreed. He smiled and nodded his head. "Ask anything you'd like, Princess." You blinked and thought about what question to ask him; it was then you realized that you didn't know anything about each other, and maybe that was why he suddenly suggested the game. "Where were you born?" You asked him. "Daegu," he replied. "Favorite color?" You asked. "Purple," he replied. "Favorite sport?" "I don't play sports." "Favorite brand?" "Gucci." This continued going on and on for a few minutes before Taehyung stopped you before you could ask another unnecessary question. "Okay, those aren't very good questions." He criticized which made you pout and sigh. "Come on Princess, you can come up with something way better than those questions," Taehyung said which made you go deep in thought. You simply just didn't know what to ask him and whenever you had a question, you were scared that maybe he wouldn't feel comfortable answering it. Finally, you just decided to go for it. "Why did you help my dad?" Taehyung smiled and raised a brow. "That question again?" You nodded and looked over to him, shifting to your side to stare attentively at him. "Yeah, I've been curious ever since I asked you that." He smirked slightly as his eyes stared deeply into yours, not breaking the eye contact as he spoke. "Well," He said. "I guess I helped him because I was scared for you." As you listened to him, you blinked at how short his response was. Taehyung noticed and continued to speak. "When he said that he needed to save his daughter, it made me feel bad for him and made me feel bad for his daughter, who was you." He gestured to you and you nodded. He continued, "When I thought about the daughter not having parents or anyone there with her, it made me feel sorry. And..." he paused. "It reminded me of myself." Your eyes softened as he finished his sentences and when you thought he was going to continue, he didn't. "Any more questions?" He asked and you had hundreds of more questions to ask him, but you held yourself back. "Seokjin said that you all have your own stories at how you found each other and ended up as The Seven," you said. "So what's your story?" Taehyung stared at you with a soft yet conflicted expression, seeming like he had troubling finding the right words to say. "We have one thing in common," he looked away and glanced to the side. "My parents died in an explosion, just like your parents did." Your mouth slowly opened and you almost felt your heart break at the cracks in his voice. Although you didn't know Taehyung, you knew how hurt he must've been to experience such a traumatic situation at such a young age. "I'm sorry," you whispered. Taehyung shook his head and mumbled, "It's okay. You don't need to feel sorry." He suddenly turned his head back to you and his eyes were no longer gloomy. "Any more questions?" He smiled when he saw you shake your head, which indicated that it was now his turn to ask you questions. "What's your story?" He asked you and he chuckled at how you flinched when he asked you your question. "Hey, I didn't say that I couldn't use the same questions as you." You chuckled and thought for a brief moment before answering, "I don't have a story yet." Your eyes met with Taehyung's as you both stared at each other, for what felt like eternity. They way he stared at you and the way that he smiled made your stomach flip and run over and over again that you wanted to punch yourself in the gut for the weird feeling. "Well, we can change that." He said and smiled and you couldn't help but smile with him. That weird feeling you felt— maybe it wasn't as bad as you thought it was.
