"What are you doing?" I asked Arthur.

"Just moving around some of the furniture," Arthur answer to d.

"Okay, why?" I asked.

"It's just to make the living room more spacious," Arthur explained.

I rolled my eyes.

"It was already spacious," I said.

Arthur frowned.

"What?" I asked.

"Where's your engagement ring?" He replied.

I looked down at my hand and groaned.

"I left it in the bathroom," I said as I walked back up the stairs to grab my ring before Arthur has a fit about me not wearing the ring.

Arthur followed me into the bathroom as I grabbed my ring off the bathroom counter and put it on.

"You've been very forgetful lately," Arthur said.

I sigh.

"I know, I've been working on so many projects then all those princess lessons have been so harsh, but I have to do them to be your wife," I said.

Arthur wraps his arms around me and kisses my cheek.

"I know, and I love you for putting up with all of my family's demands," Arthur said.

I close my eyes and let out a deep breath.

"I have to go. I have a photoshoot for my lingerie launch," I said.

"I hope it's nothing too revealing," Arthur said.

"Don't worry," I said.

His Royal Highness Prince Arthur of Wales and Miss Sinderella Blackwood are engaged to be married

The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Arthur to Miss Sinderella Blackwood.

The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2016, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.

Prince Arthur and Miss Blackwood became engaged in August during a private holiday in Scotland. Prince Arthur has informed The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Arthur has also sought the permission of Miss Blackwood's father.

Following the marriage, the couple will live in York House, St James's Palace.

"You'll do great," Catherine said as she touched up my makeup.

William took a quick photo of us as Arthur greeted Tom Bradby.

"You two must be very close," Tom said as he looked over at us.

Catherine and I smiled at each other before looking at him.

"It's been lovely having Sinderella around; it's nice to have another sister," Catherine said.

"Yes, it's nice to have an older sister; I always wanted one," I said.

"I bet you two love that these ladies are so close?" Tom asked.

William laughs as Arthur chuckles.

"It's wonderful; we were worried they wouldn't get along, but they proved us wrong," Arthur answered.

"Yes, Catherine has taken Sinderella under her wings," William said.

"It's time," The director said.

"We'll be right here, watching," Catherine told me.

I nodded.

Catherine and William moved to stand behind the director off to the side while Arthur and I walk over to the couch in one of the informal living rooms of St James Palace.

"Your Royal Highness, Blackwood, congratulations to you both," Tom said.

"Thank you," Arthur said.

"Thank you," I said.

"People are curious about your engagement, so let's start with the obvious. When did it happen? How did it happen?" Tom asked.

"It happened in August after we visited the Queen in Scotland at Balmoral Castle; I had finished my conversation with Her Majesty about proposing to Sinderella when I asked Sinderella to go on a walk with me, and I just decided that it was the right time really and I proposed," Arthur answered.

"It was an epic moment. It was very sentimental and sweet," I said.

"Did you say yes immediately?" Tom asked me.

"Of course, yes. Once he got down on one knee, I could barely let him start proposing," I explained.

Arthur laughs.

"Once I was down on one knee, she was saying yes, that I had to tell her to wait and let me say the speech that I had prepared for the proposal," Arthur said.

I nodded.

"And this is how long after you first met?" Tom asked.

"We met in 2014, so it's been a year and a few months," Arthur answered.

"Yes, well, at the time, it was a year and six months," I said.

"That's a whirlwind for most people. Is that how it's felt to you?" Tom asked.

"At first, it may have been a whirlwind, but we were in a long-distance relationship, and when Arthur's accident happened, it challenged our relationship even more, but with therapy, we made it work, and now we're here," I explained.

"You guys have gone to therapy; why?" Tom asked.

I looked at Arthur, and he nods.

"We struggled a lot in our relationship; we both had issues that needed to be solved for us to continue with our relationship," I answered.

"Therapy helped us, and I courage everyone to try therapy," Arthur said.

"How did you first meet?" Tom asked.

"We met at the Red Ladybug Gala in aid of homeless-military charity, Lively Place," Arthur answered.

"Yes," I said.

"The ring. Let's have a look at it. What kind of ring is it?" Tom asked.

I lifted my hand a bit so Tom and the camera could have a better look.

"It's gorgeous," Tom said.

"Thank you; it may look familiar because it was the Queen Mother, my great-grandmother's original engagement ring, she had left it for me, and I knew that Sinderella loves vintage jewelry, so it was perfect for her. It is a sapphire and diamond sparkler," Arthur explained.

"Sinderella, how do you feel wearing The Queen Mother's engagement ring?" Tom asked me.

"Very honored; it's a beautiful ring," I answered.

Sinderella Blackwood's engagement ring belonged to The Queen Mother

Prince Arthur and Sinderella Blackwood announced their engagement yesterday and revealed that Sinderella's engagement ring originally belonged to The Queen Mother.

The Queen Mother, formally The Duchess of York, as she was known at the time, wearing her original engagement ring and holding the future Queen Elizabeth.

When you think of trendsetters and fashion plates, I'm guessing the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth's mum, also known as Elizabeth, doesn't come to mind. But it seems, in her own right, she was. At least when it comes to engagement rings.

The Queen Mother is wearing her original engagement ring just after her engagement was announced.

You have to go back to photos shortly after her engagement and wedding to see it, but there it is, a sapphire and diamond sparkler, given to her by the current Queen's father, George. At the time, he was still the Duke of York. After his brother's abdication (which occurred so Edward could marry Wallis Simpson, but that's another story).

The Duke and Duchess of York, not yet King and Queen, parents to the current Queen, Elizabeth II.

You can still see it in photos when she's holding baby Elizabeth. But later in life, perhaps after the King's death, she began wearing a pearl ring in its place.

Often, people confuse Camilla's engagement ring, given to her by Prince Charles, as the Queen Mother's former engagement ring. While the Queen Mum did own and wear the 5ct diamond sparkler, it was referred to as a family piece but was not her actual engagement ring.

While Queen Mum did own and wear the engagement ring now belonging to Camilla, she did not receive it as an engagement ring.

So, there you have it. Princess Diana, Kate Middleton, and many other royals in the family have the Queen Mother to thank for setting the sapphire and diamond engagement ring trend.
