Part 14 Sick

 A/N: of course someone has to get sick, it's a fanfic after all.

After Ranpo and Poe's recent night out visiting the graves, it seems that one of them caught a cold.

"I'll be fine" coughed Ranpo as he tried to persuade Yosano too let him leave.

"No, you're gonna stay here, you'll eat this cough candy and you'll drink tea with honey and that's final, if your head hurts drink a spoon of this" she instructed while passing him a medicine bottle with pink liquid.

"Thanks" he said as he plopped on the bed. This sucked, he can't go out to get candy, he can't go to class and he can't hang out with Poe all day!!

Then he heard a knock he stood up to open the door, it was Poe.

"H-Hello, I thought since your sick I'd bring you your candy-" Ranpo snatched it and then jumped on the bed to munch on it.

"tfhanfks" he said while chewing the candies.

"No problem, I'll make you some tea" he replied and walked to the kitchen.

Ranpo watched Poe cook and make the tea, no matter what he did he was pretty.

Even Ranpo could admit that the cold is really bothersome, he had to be under the blanket the hole time since he's cold, and his head hurt like hell.

Poe gave him some tea, and then said to call or text him if he'd need anything.

Ranpo nodded and just as Poe was about to step out, he heard his ringtone.

"Eddddd my head hurts! Can you please stay here a little?" whined Ranpo.

"Of course, but what would I do, I don-t-" Poe didn't get to finish since Ranpo pulled him onto the bed a cuddled up to him.

"We're dating so now I can cuddle with your forever!" exclaimed Ranpo.

"O-oh" replied Poe, blushing from how close Ranpo was, they cuddled all the time but somehow it's different now...

They just lay there, Poe definitely had classes but he wasn't gonna tell Ranpo that, he was sick after all!

After some time, Ranpo fell asleep, Poe was glad since it helps you when you're sick. He stroked the smaller's hair and lightly kissed his forhead, it was still warm but definitely better.

He thought about leaving to go to class, but he couldn't do that to his boyfriend, so instead he just cuddled up to Ranpo and fell asleep.

An hour or so later Poe woke up to Ranpo's face.

"Good morning" he said.

"Oh hi, I hope I wasn't a sleep for too long"

"It's fine" assured Ranpo, as he got off Poe so he could sit.

"Sorry you missed your classes" apologized Ranpo.

"It's fine I didn't mind" replied Poe.

"I'll make it up to you" flirtyly suggested Ranpo.

Poe blushed, he tried to make himself think but that's the only thing that he could think that meant.

"Y-You don't have to-" he assured but Ranpo didn't care.

"It's ok dear, I want to" he explained as he got up. "just not yet I'm still sick" he laughed.
