Laugh my head off

I changed back into my S.H.I.E.L.D outfit and my teal leather jacket. Then I joined Tony and Coulson as they walked in on Steve, Bruce, Natasha and Thor's conversation.

"Iridium? What does he need Iridium for?" Bruce asks.

"It's a stabilizing agent", Tony says as me, him and Coulson enter the room.

"It means that the portal won't collapse on itself like it did in S.H.I.E.L.D", I explained. Yeah, I know this stuff too.

"No hard feelings, Point break. You've got a mean swing", Tony says to Thor.

I chuckled at Thor's new nickname. Thor looks at me, but with no anger in his expression. "Sorry", I said. Thor looks at me with a smile.

"It's alright", he says.

"Also means that the portal can stay open as wide and stay open as long as Loki needs", Tony continues. I like it when Tony speaks science stuff. "That man's playing gallaga! Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did".

I stood next to Tony, trying to find the S.H.I.E.L.D agent who was playing gallaga. "See, right there", Tony says, pointing to the agent. I found where his gaze was. I walked over to the S.H.I.E.L.D agent who was playing gallaga.

"And Pain is about to yell at someone", Tony says behind me. I looked back at Tony with a glare and I mouthed, "Really?".

"I love it when you glare", Tony says. I rolled my eyes and turned around. I walked towards the agent.

I stood behind the agent. He looked behind him and froze. "Gallaga, huh? It's a nice game, but you should be working", I said. The agent was silent. Honestly, I wouldn't blame him. I would want some excitement in my life instead of sitting down, working on the computer all day. "Actually, I understand. Continue doing...what you want to do", I said. The agent nodded his head slowly. I walked back towards the group of adults.

"Finally", Tony says.

I rolled my eyes. "Oldie".

"Pain", he said. I sat down next to the rest of the Avengers while Tony continued his conversation with the Avengers.

I noticed Natasha, Bruce, Steve, Thor and Maria Hill glanced at me, but when I noticed, they looked at Tony.

Did I do something wrong?

"The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major components, he needs a power source. A high energy, density that can kick start the cube".

"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Maria Hill asks.

"Last night", Tony says. "The packet, Selvig's notes, The Extraction Theory papers, Am I the only one who did the reading?"

"Does Loki need a particular power source?" Steve asks.

"He's got to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin to break through the coulomb barrier", Bruce explains.

"Unless Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunnel effect".

"Well, if he could do that, he could achieve heavy Ion Fusion at any reactor on the planet".

"Finally, someone who speaks English", Tony says. That is not English.

"Is that what just happened?" Steve asks. I shrugged my shoulders.

"It's nice to meet you, Dr Banner. Your work on anti-electron is unparallel. I'm a huge fan of the way you loose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster", Tony says.

"Tony!" I snapped.

"What? Can I not compliment the guy?" Tony asks.

"That's not a compliment, Tony", I said. "I'm sorry about Tony, Bruce. He acts like this because he's a moron". Tony glares at me. I stuck my tongue out at him. He stuck his back at me.

"Doctor Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you might join him", Fury says as he enters the room.

"Let's start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a hydra weapon", Steve says.

"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the cube", I said.

"And I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys", Fury says. I smiled, holding back my laughter.

Thor looked confused. "Monkeys? I don't understand", he says.

"I do!" Steve says. Tony rolls his eyes with made me chuckle. "I understood that reference".

I stood up from my seat and made my way towards the door. "Zee, where are you going?" Tony asks.

"To laugh my head off", I replied.

"Uh...Have fun", Tony said.
