Cool parents
05:07, 13 July 2016Third person's POV:
(Y/n) woke up, still exhausted. Why am I still tired? She thought. I had a good night sleep. Must be the stress and all. She struggled to sit up, which she miserably failed the first hundred time.
But once she did, she got in the bathroom. Nothing will make her muscles relax more than a hot shower. (Y/n) turned the water on, stripped of her clothes and got in the relaxing shower. She washed all the stress away. After she let out a satisfying sigh, she got out of the shower, dried herself and got into some blue jean and a white plain t-shirt.
Heading downstairs while drying her hair with a towel, she smelled pancakes. she didn't realize how hungry she was until that moment. (Y/n) sped to the kitchen and found her best friend cooking.
"Umm, I smell pancakes!" (Y/n) said in a sigh.
"Well, good morning to you too." Her best friend chuckled.
"Oh yeah, sorry. Good morning." (Y/n) greeted, taking a mouthful of a stolen pancake.
"I gotta say, Tony disappointed me last night." (F/n) shook her head.
"Last time I checked, I was the one who went on a date with him." (Y/n) giggled. "I like to take it slow, especially with him." She continued.
"Tony Stark and slow? It's like you're saying The Flash is walking at normal speed. It's like you're saying Calvin hates all superheroes." (F/n) gave her a knowing look.
"Never happening, ok I get it." She finished her breakfast.
"Where is Calvin by the way? I didn't see him all morning." Her bestfriend asked.
"He's at his friend's house. He's helping him make arrangements for his birthday. You know how Calvin is; being the future businessman. And he's going to stay there for like four days or so." (Y/n) put her plate in the sink.
As she was washing her dirty plate and (F/n)'s now-empty cup of coffee, the phone rang and (Y/n) went to answer it.
"Hello... oh hi!... I'm good, and you?... yeah sure... no, no, I haven't had breakfast yet... bring who?... of course, she would love to... ok see you later, Tony." And she hung up.
She heard footsteps rush out of the kitchen to the hallway. (F/n) stood for a couple of minutes, holding her finger, asking a second to catch her breath.
"Was that.... Tony?" She asked breathless.
"Yes, that was Tony. And he already set another date." (Y/n) clarified.
"Now I like him. Talk about slow, huh?" (F/n) raised an eyebrow.
"Ooo, you are about to love him." (Y/n) giggled.
"What? How?" (F/n) stood now tall.
"He said I can bring you with us. If you want of course." (Y/n) said.
After that (F/n) did something (Y/n) didn't expect... She... ready for it?... stayed silent. She just stood there, freezed, paralysed.
"Earth to (F/n), come in, (F/n)." (Y/n) snapped her fingers in front of her.
"H-He... He w-wants me t-to c-come..." she suddenly furrowed her eyebrows. "Wait a second, I am not going to be a third weel?" She asked.
"No, no. Of course not. I won't let that happen." (Y/n) shook her head.
"Oh my lord, I don't have something to wear. I gotta go look for something to wear." (F/n) rushed to her best friend's closet.
"Yeah, sure. Go ahead. I just need a jacket over this." She gestured at her plain white t-shirt.
(Y/n) went to fetch a black jacket. She took a glance at the mirror beside the front door. Satisfied with her look, she headed towards the couch, already knowing that her bestfriend will take forever to get ready.
After a few minutes, she was starting to get annoyed. She stomped upstairs to her bedroom. She stood at the doorway, jaw dropped to the ground. Her whole closet was on her bed.
"What the heck?" She yelled.
(F/n) immerged from the bathroom in blue jeans and a black t-shirt with a jacket on top of it. She matched her outfit with some black heels.
"Ok, I'm ready. Let's go." She sighed.
"You took all this time, just so you dressed like me." (Y/n) put her two fingers on the bridge of her nose.
"Oh my Odin, you're right. I'll go change." She turned to the bathroom to be stopped by an arm.
"No, no. You're fine. Let's go. He must be waiting for ages in that cafe." (Y/n) pulled her out of the house.
-----
They pushed the door open. They looked around for Tony. They found him twerling a cup between his fingers. They sneaked behind him.
"What is a handsome guy like you doing all alone?" (Y/n) teased.
"Waiting for two beautiful girls like you. You didn't happen to see them?" He joked.
"No. But will we be enough?" (Y/n) sat on the opposite of him with her bestfriend following her lead.
"I suppose so. Only if you have matching clothes. Oh look, which you have." He sarcastically.
"Said the guy who only wears suits. Oh look, he is wearing one right now." (Y/n) replied his sarcastic answer.
"Ok, we get it. You are both sarcastic as hell. Can we get a coffee now." Her bestfriend sighed.
"I told you I like her." Tony smirked.
"I like you too. But I like (Y/n) more. That's why she's gonna let me take a picture with you, right (Y/n)?" She looked at her with begging eyes.
"Yeah, sure. Would you like a phone number with that?" (Y/n) said sarcastically.
"I would like if you stop being sarcastic and badass so often." Her bestfriend pouted.
"I am sarcastic all the time, thank you very much." She replied.
"I mean it even when we were at school, you were the badass girl." (F/n) said.
"No, I wasn't." (Y/n) argued. Tony just sat there watching.
"Really? What about that one time in the high school library with Jason, huh?" Her bestfriend asked raising her eyebrow.
"What happened?" Tony asked, eager to know.
"Nothing. That's something I'd like to keep to myself." (Y/n) glared at (F/n).
"Oh, come on. Please?" Tony pouted. "Besides, I wantto know who is this Jason guy." He continued.
"Jason was my ex, he wanted back with me after he cheated on me but I refused. So he was really sticky. That one time, I was reading a book at the library when he came and started being annoying. I just wanted him gone, so I called him names. Then he said sticks and stones may break my boned but words can never hurt me, so I got up and took in my hand the largest dictionary I can find near me and I threw it at him and yelled how's that for words hurting you, Bitch. And I ran away."
By this time, Tony was laughing real hard, clutching his sides. After two minutes of good laughter, he finally calmed down enough to talk.
"What did your parents say?"
"My dad said: You are totally my daughter. And my mom said: you should have taken down the whole shelf." She laughed.
"They were really cool parents." (F/n) said, in a few seconds she burtedout laughing then she stuttered. " I reme-me-mber, I was downstairs at her house talking to my boyfriend on the phone, I was standing in the middle of the hallway. I didn't hear her mom say excuse me like five hundred times until she yelled in my ear how many times do I have to say excuse me before get the fuck out of my way becomes acceptable? And I just blushed. She bursted oit laughing in front of me until she said I'm just kidding, dear."
"I didn't know that. When did it happen?" (Y/n) giggled.
"The same day your dad said I'm famous, don't talk to me." Her best friend giggled.
"He said what?" Tony asked laughing.
"I had a really bad headache, so I texted him to bring me some asprin. He said that. Then I begged. And he said anything for my fans. I swear my head never hurt me more from laughing." She giggled.
"I wish my parents were like that." Tony crooked a sad smile.
"Well, I don't have them anymore. So don't be sad." (Y/n) said, taking his hand in hers and squeezing it gently.
"Why is it that when one of you is in a good mood, the other is happy too. And when one of you is in a bad mood, the other is too." (F/n) sighed.
"We like to do things in couples' way." Tony smiled.
"So that's what we are." (Y/n) said.
"Of course. We did have a date, and this is the second, right?" Tony said.
"Right. TWO DATES. What can I expect more from a man who don't do dates." (Y/n) sighed and Tony smirked.
"Talk about slow, huh?" (F/n) whispered to her best friend.
