Prologue: New Semester, New Me!

3rd POV:It was a beautiful peaceful time in Vale, birds were chirping, people out and about, the world seemed to be in a moment of true serenity, but as we all know nothing lasts forever.

The dust shop "Dust before Dawn" was having a re-opening, and as the shopkeep was setting up he was suddenly knocked down, as he opened his eyes he saw it was a girl.

Girl: "Excuse me, Sorry! I'm not really from around here." She said innocently as she picked the old shopkeep up.

Girl: "Can you point me in the direction of this shop?" She said showing him the name of the shop on a piece of paper, the old man nodded as he did so and the girl walked away around a corner.

??: "I know you were lost." Said a guy leaning on the wall around the corner.

Girl: "Murcury! I will seriously pay you to shut up." She said to Murcury handing him lien.

Murcury: "That's not your money." He said.

Girl: "But it could be yours, for five minutes of silence." She said.

Murcury: "Hmmm..No deal." He said.

Girl: "Hamph fine." She said putting the lien away and walking away.

Murcury: "Whatever, you want me." He said following her.

Murcury: "How much further?" He asked.

Girl: "A few blocks." She said.

Murcury: "Ugh this place is so dull." He said.

Girl: "Eh, I kind of like it, tall buildings, diverse culture-"

Murcury: "And nice, Dopey people who are easy to pickpocket." He finished her sentence.

Girl: " That's every city." She stated proudly.

Murcury: "Ohhh! Emerald, master thief! Please don't take my money, I barely have enough to make it through the day." He said sarcasticly.

Emerald: "Ugh!" She said walking away.

Murcury: "Your no fun today." He said as they went to a book store.

As they came in Murcury went to browse while emerald went to the counter and rang a bell.

??: "Be right there!" A man said coming out from the back room carrying a lot of books.

??: "Welcome to Tukson's book trade: home to every book under the sun! How my I uh-" He said putting thr books until he realized he knew them.

??: "How may I help you?" He asked them.

Murcury: "Just browsing." He said slamming books shut.

Emerald: "Actually I was wondering if you had any copies of "The Thief and The Butcher"? She ask.

Tukson: "Yes we do." He said.

Emerald: "That's great!" She said.

Tukson: " Would you like a copy?"

Emerald: "No, just wondering." She said as Murcury closed a book harder.

Emerald: "Oh! Oh! What about Violet' s Garden? In Paper back" She asked.

Murcury: "He's got it! Hardback too."

It was a new semester in Beacon and our hero (y/n) Valkyrie, the self-proclaimed fearless Huntsmen extraordinaire! was eating his lunch surrounded by his loving friends and dearest team, and so this is how our lovely story begins.

The gang were doing their own thing when, Blake was looking pretty sad.

Yang: "Whatcha doing?" Yang asked Blake.

Blake: "Just going over notes from last semester." She said closing her notebook, Yang and (y/n) caught grapes Nora was throwing at us.

Yang: "Lame!" She said.

(Y/n): "Yang be Nice." He said catching two more grapes.

Ruby: "Sisters! friends! boyfriend! Weiss."

Weiss: "Hey!"

Ruby: "Four scores and seven minutes ago, I had a dream!" She stated.

Yang: "This outta be good." She said catching a grape.

(Y/n): "Where have I heard those words before?" He thought.

Ruby: "Shush! I had a dream that the five of us would come together as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had, Ever!" She shouted with joy.

Weiss: "Did you steal my binder?" She asked.

Ruby: "I am not a crook." She said giving two peace symbols with her hands.

(Y/n): "Definitely heard that one before." I said getting up.

Ruby: "Where are you going!?" She ask lying on the table and grabbing my arm.

(Y/n): "Relax rose petal I'm just getting cookies from the vending machine outside." I said booping her nose.

Ruby: "Oh ok hurry back! And get me some cookies too!" She shouted as (y/n) walked out of the cafeteria.

(Y/n) walk to the vending machine putting in the lien and getting the two bags of cookies.

(Y/n): "I don't see why they put this vending machine out here, when one can simple break the glass and take all the snacks." He said as he was about to go back In till he heard a certain voice.

Sun: "So then the three of us were fighting side by side and she was super fast and other dude was super strong strong and then I threw a banana at a guy which sounds gross but was actually really cool!" He explained excited.

??: "Nice!" Some guy said to him.

Sun: "Right! And the best part is she's a Faunus!" He said excited.

(Y/n): "Which was suppose to be a secret." I said leaning on the vending machine.

Sun: "Oh shoot! (Y/n)!" He said excited .

(Y/n): " Hi Sun how's it rolling?" I said.

Sun: "Awesome everything has been awesome since we fought your dad." He said.

??: "Ahem! Pardon his rudness for not properly introducing us, but I'm Neptune Vasilias nice to meet you."

(Y/n): "I'm (Y/n) Valkyrie, nice to met yah." He said as (y/n) went for a handshake but (y/n)'s grip might have been too much for Neptune.

Naptune: "Ow! Whoa! Dude that's a hell of grip!" He said letting go and messaging it.

(Y/n): "Sorry bout that." He said scratching his head.

*Buzz* *Buzz*

(Y/n): "Its mine here let's see. " He pulled out his scroll and checked it.

(Y/n): " Song of the Week?" He said as him, Sun, and Neptune entered the cafeteria and a lot of people started running out.

Random student: "Food Fight!" He said as (y/n) saw his sister Nora on top of piled up cafeteria tables.

Nora: "I'm queen of the castle I'm queen of the castle!" She sang as Ruby stood on the other side of the cafeteria.

Ruby: "Justice will be swift! justice will be painful! It will be delisous!" She shouted squeezing her milk as her team also cheered behind her, but suddenly a food tray hit Nora and then bounced off and hit ruby knocking them both on their butts, as the tray bounced into the air (y/n) suddenly flipped on the table, holding a tray as a shield.

(Y/n): "Hi everyone, getting started without me are we?" He said as picked up sasegaes and tied them around his chest and then getting two baguettes and putting them across his back like swords.

Nora/Ruby: "(y/n)!!!" They both shouted happily.

Nora: "Join our side baby brother and we'll rule this school!!" She said proudly.

Ruby: "No join our side! And we'll rule this school as boyfriend and girlfriend!" She shouted.

WBY: "Ahem!"

Ruby: "And as a team!" She added.

(Y/n): "Quite the hard choice this is, my girlfriend or my sister? Truly the hardest choices requires the strongest will." He said thinking to himself out loud.

RWBY/JNPR: "Well?" They all asked him.

(Y/n): "Apologizes Dearest friends, sister, girlfriend, teammates, and Weiss."

Weiss: "Hey!"

(Y/n): "I'm on my own team today!" He said as he took out the baguettes and took a swordsmen's stance.

Nora: "Big mistake little Brother! Off with their heads!" Nora shouted as Ren, Jaune, Pyrrah, and her threw watermelons at into the air like missiles.

Ruby: "You chose wrong! Yang! Turkey!" She yelled as Yang got to turkeys and put them on like gloves rushing to (Y/n).

(Y/n): "Sun! Hit it!" (Y/n) shouted as he jumped in the air dodging the watermelons.

Suddenly yang started punching all the watermelons till she jumped in the air and punched (y/n) down on the table and tried to slam herself down on him, but he dodged it and grabbed her turkey hands.

Yang: "Really Dubstep is your theme for fighting?" She asked smirking.

(Y/n): "What would you rather I use electro like you?" He asked smirking back.

Yang: "Dubsteps for pussies!" She said as she quickly turned him around holding him in a choke hold.

(Y/n): "For someone with hair as bright as the sun, your so dark! I love dubstep! And electro is no better!" He yelled as he quickly shot his legs up in front and flipped yang over slamming her on the table and tried to punch her but she moved out of the way.

Suddenly he was was attacked by Blake and Pyrrah who were also using baguettes as swords and tag teaming on (y/n).

(Y/n): "So both my kitty and Spartan Queen at the same time hmm what a treat!" He said happily as they continued attacking him till Yang came in and punched him into a vending machine, with him out of the picture, pretty soon it was an all out battle between team RWBY and JNPR.

Sun and Neptune ran over to (Y/n).

Sun: "Dude are you okay?" He said as he tried to help (y/n) but suddenly (y/n) stepped out.

(Y/n): "Okay I wasn't going to hard on you guys but I guess sudulty just went out the window." He said as he smirked and dusted himself when he saw Ruby was in the middle of using her semblance to do a whirlpool of food which sent team JNPR splattered on a wall making a fantastic art piece, however before Ruby could claim victory, (Y/n) zoomed passed her running in a circle in a speed so fast you could barely see him.

(Y/n): "Sorry Rose pedal but you ain't the only one with speed now he said as he ran and got a bunch of pies and continued running around her only to throw multiply pies at her from every direction, he stopped and saw that she was covered in a mountain of pies, he quickly put a cherry on top of her head.

(Y/n): "I made..*Huff* a..*Huff* Cherry pie y'all!" He said as everyone started laughing even Ruby.

Sun: "I love these guys." Sun said as Goodwitch barged in loudly and literally and amazingly fixed everything so properly she could probably build houses faster than any construction worker ever could.

Goodwitch: "Children! Please do not play with your food!" She said as Nora burped really loud and Yang fell from the roof but (Y/n) caught her.

Yang: "Why are you so good at catching people when they fall?" She asked as he smiled gleefully.

(Y/n): "What are friends for?" He said as he put her down and sat down a bit tried but they all started laughing together happily it's what we needed.

Ozpin's POV:

Me: "Let it go." I said as I stopped Gylnda from saying or doing anything to the bunch.

Goodwitch: *Sighs* "Their suppose to be the defenders of the world." She said sounding a bit disappointed.

Me: "And they will be, but right now their still children." I said staring at team RWBY and (Y/n).

Me: "So why not let them play that part." I said to her walking away

Me: "After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever.." I said as I looked back at (Y/n) who was helping clean Ruby.

Me (in thought) "Speed hmm, your growing (y/n), but you still have a ton to gain...and lose." I said as I closed my eyes with a hint of Worry.

(Meanwhile else where in a warehouse) 3rd POV:

Murcury and Emerald were entering a warehouse where members of the White Fang were unloading a bunch crates carrying dust.

Torchwick: "Oh look, she sent the kids again." He said sarcasticly, as he got close and hugged them.

Torchwick: "This is Turning out just like the divorce." He said as they pushed him off.

Emerald: "Spare is the thought of you procreating." She said as he walked away from them.

Torchwick: "That was a joke, although apparently there's a kid out there claiming to be my "son" he said as they stared at him with confusing.

Torchwick: "But any this might just tell me where the hell you two have been all day." He said holding up "Emerald's wallet".

Emerald: "How did you?"

Torchwick: "I'm a professional sweetheart, pay attention maybe you'll learn something." He said smirking, till he looked at a card with an address on it.

Torchwick: "Why do you have this address?" He asked clearly mad.

Emerald: "Wouldn't you like to know." She said.

Torchwick: "Yes I would, now where have you been all day?" He asked them again.

Murcury: "Cleaning up your problems, one of them at least." He said.

Torchwick: "I had that under control." He stated.

Murcury: "Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise." Murcury countered.

Torchwick: "Listen you little punk, if it were up to me I would take you and your little street rat friend here and I would-"

??: "Do what Roman?" A female voiced asked him, as a beautiful lady came out of the top floor and used an elevator to go down to them.

Torchwick: "I would um not kill them?" He said nervously.

Emerald: "Cinder!" Emerald said a little too excited.

Cinder: "I thought I made it clear, that you were to eliminate the would be runaway." She said walking up to them.

Torchwick: "I was going too." He said.

Emerald: "HE was going to escape to Vacuo. Murcury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat." Emerald said.

Murcury: "I think he was some kind of cat." He said.

Emerald: "What like a Puma?"

Murcury: "Yeah there you go."

Cinder: "Quiet, did I not specifically instruct you both to keep your hands clean while in Vale?" She asked them.

Emerald: "I just thought-"

Cinder: "Don't think. Obay." She said in a serious manner.

Emerald: "Yes Ma'am, it won't happen again." She said with her head down.

Cinder: "And YOU." She said staring at Roman.

Cinder: "Why wasn't this job done sooner?" She asked.

Torchwick: "Ehh? Ehhh? EHHH!?" He said pointing everywhere at the dust crates.

Torchwick: "Sorry if I've been a little busy stealing every speck of dust in this kingdom!" He said stating his point.

Murcury: "Your an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski-mask." He said sarcasticly.

Torchwick: "Look around kid, I've got this whole town running scared. Police camping at every corner. Dust prices through the roof. And were sitting pretty in an old warehouse with more dust crystals, vials, and rounds then we know what to do with, speaking of which if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your master plan then I'm pretty sure I can make the rest of these robberies go smoother!" He said serious.

Cinder: "Oh Roman Have a little faith, you'll know what you need when you need to know it." She said cupping his cheek and making her eyes glow bright yellow.

Torchwick: "Tch!"

Cinder: "Besides, were done with dust." She said walking away.

Torchwick: "Okay what now?" He asked.

Cinder: "We're moving, have the White Fang move everything out of the warehouse, I'll send you details and coordinates tonight." She said walking away.

Torchwick: "Coordinates?" He asked confused.

Cinder: "We're proceeding to phase two." She said smirking.

Cinder: "By the way, I heard you say something about someone claiming to be your son who is he?" She asked.

Torchwick: "Some idiot with a powerful Semblance having to use Lighting, why?" He asked.

Cinder: "Nothing to worry about carry on." She said walking away while Emerald and Murcury followed after her.

Emerald: "Why asked that ma'am?" She asked out of curiosity.

Cinder: "Though I dont knoe much about who the boy is, something in my gut is telling me he'll be an obstacle to our plan." She said with seriousness in her tone.

Emerald: "Would you want us to eliminate him?" Emerald asked with a smirk.

Cinder: "No, I don't really ever get that gut feeling but when I do it means he'll be an obstacle for me, and truth be told once we get what we came for he'll be a challenge and I love a good challenge." Cinder said smirking.
