Chaos
04:11, 13 November 20256 months after their marriage
JAY-JAY POV
I woke up to Keifer hugging me like it was the end of the world, his arms locked around me so tightly I could barely move. His breath tickled my neck, warm and steady, and for a moment I just lay there, listening to the rhythm of his heartbeat against my back.
"Keif, get up," I whispered, nudging him gently.
"Five more minutes," he mumbled, voice thick with sleep, pulling me even closer as if I might vanish if he let go.
I sighed, half‑annoyed, half‑melting. "You're ridiculous."
He cracked one eye open, a lazy grin spreading across his face. "Correction: I'm ridiculously in love."
I rolled my eyes, cheeks warming despite myself. "You're exhausting."
"Exhausting? Or irresistible?" he teased, brushing a kiss against my shoulder.
I groaned, but my lips curved anyway. "Both."
The morning light spilled across the room, painting everything in gold. Six months of marriage, and Keifer still clung to me like it was day one. Every minute, every hour, he found a way to remind me I was his — sometimes with kisses, sometimes with teasing, always with that relentless devotion that made me blush no matter how much I tried to hide it.
"Jay," he murmured, tightening his hold, "I don't care if the world ends. As long as I'm holding you, I win."
I buried my face in his chest, trying to hide the smile tugging at my lips. "You're impossible."
"And you love me anyway," he said simply, pressing another kiss to my hair.
Suddenly, a wave of nausea hit me so hard I barely had time to think. I bolted from the bed, rushing into the bathroom, and dropped to my knees as my stomach twisted.
. Keifer was instantly beside me, one hand rubbing circles on my back, the other fumbling for his phone.
"Jay, babe, you're scaring me," he said, voice tight. "I'm calling the doctor."
I groaned, weakly waving him off. "Keif, it's probably nothing..."
"Correction," he snapped, pressing a kiss to my hair even as panic flickered in his eyes. "It's everything. You're everything. I'm not taking chances."
Minutes later, the doctor's calm voice filled the room through the phone. Keifer explained everything in a rush — how I'd woken fine, then suddenly bolted to the bathroom.
There was a pause, then the doctor said gently, "Keifer... Jay's symptoms sound very much like early pregnancy."
The words hung in the air, heavy and unreal. My breath caught, and I turned to Keifer, wide‑eyed.
I was still trembling against the bathroom sink when the doctor's words landed like a thunderclap: pregnant.
For a heartbeat, Keifer froze — his protective chaos suspended mid‑air. His hand was still on my back, his phone clutched tight, his eyes wide as if the world had tilted. Then, in the next breath, everything changed.
"Pregnant?" he repeated, his voice cracking between disbelief and joy. His grin spread so fast it nearly split his face. "Jay, babe, do you hear that? We're going to be parents!"
Before I could even process it, he scooped me up, spinning me around the bathroom despite my weak protests. "Keifer!" I squealed, dizzy and flushed. "Put me down, I just threw up!"
He laughed, kissing my hair, my cheeks, my lips in rapid succession. "Correction: you threw up because you're carrying our baby. And I'm officially the happiest man alive."
I groaned, cheeks hot, trying to hide the smile tugging at my lips. "You're impossible."
"Impossible? Or irresistible?" he teased, his eyes shining with a joy I'd never seen before.
I buried my face in his chest, overwhelmed, but his arms tightened around me like he'd never let go. "Both," I whispered, and his laughter filled the room, turning chaos into something unforgettable.
Keifer couldn't hold it in.
The moment the doctor's words sank in, he was already dragging me out of the bedroom, his grin so wide it looked like it might split his face.
"Kegian! Kieran!" he shouted, voice booming with excitement. "Get in here, now!"
Kegian was the first to appear, calm and composed, his expression serious as he stepped into the room. "What's going on?" he asked, his tone steady.
Keifer puffed out his chest, practically glowing. "Jay's pregnant!"
For a moment, Kegian's eyes widened, then softened. He crossed the room, pulling me into a gentle hug. "Ate... that's wonderful. You'll be amazing." His voice carried quiet conviction, the kind that made my chest ache with emotion. "And Kuya, you better take care of her every second. This isn't just about you anymore."
Keifer nodded quickly, his grin faltering into sincerity. "Correction: it's about us. I'll protect her and the baby with everything I've got."
Before I could respond, Kieran burst in, the youngest and the most mischievous. "Pregnant?!" he shouted, eyes wide, then broke into a grin. "Ate's gonna be a mom? Oh man, Kuya, you're doomed. Midnight crying, diapers, no more kissing every minute unless the baby approves!"
"Hey!" Keifer barked, though his grin came roaring back. "Correction: bedtime kisses for Jay and the baby. Every minute, every day."
Kieran laughed, nudging Keifer's shoulder. "Better hope the baby doesn't inherit Ate's eye‑rolls, or you're in trouble."
I groaned, cheeks hot, burying my face in Keifer's chest. "You're impossible."
Kegian chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Impossible, but glowing. I've never seen you this happy, Kuya."
Keifer's grin widened, his eyes shining with joy. "Happy? Correction: ecstatic. This is the best day of my life."
Keifer's grin hadn't faded for a second, even as he dialed every number he could think of. Within minutes, the living room was full — Section E boys piling in with their usual energy, Kuya Angelo storming through the door, Aries close behind, Tita Gemma clutching her bag, Percy, Luna, and Jare all wide‑eyed and breathless.
"Jay, did something happen?" Kuya Angelo demanded, his voice sharp, protective. His glare snapped straight to Keifer. "Did this asshole do something?"
I groaned, cheeks hot, burying my face in Keifer's chest. "Kuya..."
Keifer puffed out his chest, unbothered by the accusation, his grin stretching wider. "Correction: I did everything right. Jay's pregnant!"
The room froze.
Aries blinked, then broke into a grin. "Wait—pregnant? Jay is going to a mom and I'm gonna be a uncle"
Tita Gemma gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "Ay, Dios mio! Jay, anak, that's wonderful!"
Jare and Luna exchanged stunned looks, while Percy let out a low whistle. "Well, guess Section E's about to have a new recruit."
Eman clapped his hands, grinning. "Jay, I'm cooking for you every day now. No arguments. Pregnant women deserve feasts."
Calix stepped forward first, gentle and protective. "Jay... that's amazing." He hugged me carefully, as if I might break. "You'll be incredible."
David's eyes welled up instantly. "Jay... this is beautiful. You're going to be such a good mom." His voice cracked, and I had to smile through my blush.
Felix ever the teasing one said. "To be speaking, Keifer's vow of kissing every minute was bound to lead to this."
Drew leaned against the wall, smirk soft but sincere. "Congrats, Jay. Guess Keifer's charm finally worked in more ways than one."
Edrix crossed his arms, brooding but protective. "Keifer, you better not screw this up. Jay deserves the best."
Eren winked, playful as always. "Jay, you're glowing already. And Keifer... man, you're about to lose sleep for life."
Mayo bounced in place, hyper as ever. "A baby! A baby! Jay, can I babysit? Please? I'll teach them chaos!"
Rory smiled warmly, investigative eyes softening. "Jay, this is wonderful. You'll be amazing. And Keifer... you better be ready."
Denzel puffed his chest, proud. "Jay welcome to parenthood. Trust me, it's the hardest and best thing you'll ever do."
Josh hovered shyly in the back, his voice quiet. "Congrats, Jay... I'm really happy for you."
Blaster threw his hands up dramatically. "Jay, I'm writing a song for the baby. It's gonna be loud, rebellious, and perfect."
Kit stepped forward last, elegant and calm. "Jay, motherhood will suit you. And Keifer... cherish this gift with grace."
The room was a storm of laughter, teasing, and warmth. Keifer, of course, thrived in the chaos, pressing another kiss to my temple.
"Correction," he said, voice booming over the noise. "This is the best day of our lives. And I'll kiss Jay every minute of pregnancy, every minute of parenthood, every minute of forever."
I groaned, cheeks hot, burying my face in his chest. "You're impossible."
Ci‑N snorted. "Impossible, but predictable."
David wiped his eyes. "Impossible, but perfect."
And just like that, Section E turned the reveal into a whirlwind of teasing, chaos, and love — exactly the kind of family moment I never knew I needed.
