The Wedding
00:04, 9 November 2025JAY-JAY POV
I never thought I'd be here.
Marrying the boy I once swore I hated.
But here I am, standing in front of the mirror in my wedding dress.
Dress
Make-up and hairstyle
The fabric clings and flows in all the right places, and for a moment I hardly recognize myself.
Mica and Rakki and Honey hover nearby, Ella fussing with the veil, Freya lounging with that familiar smirk — yes, Freya and I are on good terms now — and of course Luna and Grace, both glowing with excitement.
"Jay, you look so beautiful," Grace said softly, eyes shining.
"Beautiful?" Freya scoffed, grinning. "She's looking hot. I don't think Keifer will let you sleep tonight."
My cheeks burned crimson. "Shut up, Freya."
The room erupted in laughter, the kind of laughter that eased my nerves and reminded me:
this wasn't just my wedding.
It was ours — chaos, friendship, family, and love all tangled together.
The door swung open and in came Jare and Percy, with Aries and Kuya Angelo right behind them.
"You're looking so beautiful, Jay," Jare said, his smile wide and genuine.
"Thanks," I replied, cheeks warming.
Percy immediately stepped in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie. "And, as usual, I'm looking handsome."
I rolled my eyes. "Of course you are."
Aries ignored him, leaning closer with a grin. "Forget him — you're the one looking beautiful, Jay."
"Thank you," I said, smiling back. "You look good too."
Kuya Angelo's expression softened, but his tone carried weight. "Jay, are you happy with your decisions?"
I nodded without hesitation. "More than happy."
He gave a small nod. "Just making sure."
Before I could answer, Ci‑N poked his head through the doorway. "Kuya Angelo, Aries — they're calling you guys."
"Excuse us," Kuya Angelo said, straightening his jacket. As he left, I caught him muttering under his breath about threatening Keifer if he ever hurt me.
I laughed quietly, nerves easing. Surrounded by them, by all this chaos and care, I felt steady. Ready.

Keifer POV
I was never this nervous.
Not for exams, not when I had to take over my company no never this nervous
I was the guy who ran from commitment, who laughed at the idea of forever.
But then Jay happened.
She made me believe in love again.
Made me feel like I was supposed to be loved, like I wasn't just someone passing through people's lives.
With her, forever didn't feel like a trap — it felt like a promise.
Now here I am, standing in front of the mirror, fumbling with my coat.
The fabric feels heavier than it should, like it carries the weight of every vow I'm about to make. My reflection stares back at me — sharp suit, nervous eyes, crooked smile.
Not the boy who ran, but the man who stayed.
I take a breath, steadying myself.
Outside, I can hear laughter, voices, the chaos of Section E filling the chapel.
It's comforting, in its own way.
They're all here.
They've seen us fight, tease, fall apart, and come back together. And now they'll see us promise forever.
I adjust my tie, muttering under my breath, "Don't screw this up."
But deep down, I know — the moment she walks through those doors, everything will make sense.
Because it's Jay.
And I'm hers.
"Keifer, it's time," Felix said, his voice steady but carrying that edge of excitement only he could disguise as calm.
I nodded, adjusting my coat one last time, and stepped away from the mirror
My heart was pounding harder than it ever had before — harder than the day I pitched my company to investors, harder than any exam, harder than any fight I'd ever had with Jay.
The hallway outside was buzzing.
I could hear laughter, footsteps, the rustle of dresses, the low hum of voices waiting for the ceremony to begin.
Section E was out there, loud and chaotic as always, filling the chapel with their energy.
I walked toward the doors, each step heavier than the last.
Not because I doubted —
never that —
but because I knew what this moment meant.
This wasn't just a promise.
It was forever.
Felix clapped me on the shoulder as I passed. "You've got this," he said simply.
I gave him a crooked smile. "Yeah. I do."
And as the doors opened, light spilling in, I thought of Jay —
the girl who swore she hated me,
the girl who taught me how to stay,
the girl who made me believe in love again.
I wasn't the boy who ran anymore.
I was the man who waited.
For her.
The officiant gave me a small nod as I took my place at the altar. Section E filled the pews, restless and loud even in their attempts at silence. Ci‑N smirked like he was waiting to make a sarcastic comment, Mayo bounced in his seat, David folded his hands with quiet reverence. It was chaos, but it was ours.
And then the music began.
The doors opened.
Jay stepped inside.
Everything else blurred — the crowd, the flowers, the lights.
She was the only thing I saw.
Her dress shimmered under the glow, veil trailing behind her like a secret, eyes locked on mine. My chest tightened, not with nerves but with certainty.
I thought of every fight, every sarcastic jab, every moment she swore she hated me.
And I thought of every laugh, every late‑night rooftop, every time she chose me anyway.
She was walking toward me, and with each step, the boy who ran from commitment disappeared. In his place stood the man who stayed.
When she reached me, I leaned forward, voice low, meant only for her.
"You're glowing," I whispered.
Her laugh was soft, shaky. "It's the roses."
I shook my head, smile tugging at my lips. "It's you."
And in that moment, I knew — this wasn't just a ceremony. It was the start of forever.
The officiant's voice echoed softly through the chapel. "Keifer, your vows."
My throat tightened. For a second, the words I'd rehearsed vanished, scattered by nerves. But then I looked at her — Jay, standing there in her dress, eyes steady, smile trembling — and the words came back, not rehearsed, but real.
"I was never this guy," I began, voice low but clear. "The one who stood still. The one who promised forever. I was the guy who ran, who laughed at the idea of commitment, who thought love was something temporary."
I paused, breath catching. "But then you happened. You made me believe in love again. You made me feel like I was supposed to be loved, like I wasn't just someone passing through. You taught me that staying is braver than running."
Her eyes shimmered, and I felt my own voice grow steadier.
"I promise to keep showing up — late sometimes, messy always, but yours. I promise to fight for us when it's hard, to laugh with you when it's easy, and to hold you when the world feels too heavy. I promise to choose you, every day, in chaos, in silence, in everything."
I swallowed, the weight of the moment pressing down, but it wasn't heavy. It was grounding.
"You're my anchor, Jay. My chaos. My home. And I swear — for as long as I'm breathing — I'll be yours."
The chapel was silent. Even Ci‑N didn't dare interrupt. Section E leaned forward, eyes wide, hearts caught in the same pause as mine.
And then Jay smiled, tears slipping free, and I knew: the vows weren't just words. They were us.

JAY-JAY POV – Vows
I took a breath, my hands trembling just enough to remind me this was real. The officiant's voice faded, and all I could see was Keifer — standing there, waiting, steady in a way that made my heart ache.
"I never thought I would be here," I began, voice soft but clear. "Marrying the boy I swore I hated. The boy who drove me crazy, who argued with me about everything, who made me roll my eyes more times than I can count."
A ripple of laughter moved through Section E, but I kept my eyes on him.
"But then you became the boy who stayed. The boy who listened when I needed to talk, who held me when I wanted to fall apart, who made me laugh when I thought I couldn't. You became the boy who made me believe in love again."
My throat tightened, but I pushed through.
"I promise to keep choosing you — in chaos, in silence, in every ordinary day. I promise to fight with you, and for you. I promise to remind you that you're more than the company you built, more than the suit you wear, more than the smirk you hide behind. You're mine. And I'll keep reminding you, every day, for the rest of our lives."
I paused, smiling through tears.
"You're my anchor, Keifer. My chaos. My home. And I swear — for as long as I'm breathing — I'll be yours."
The chapel was quiet, Section E holding their breath, even Ci‑N biting back a comment. And in that silence, I felt it: the weight of forever, not heavy, but steady.

KEIFER POV
"And now... you may kiss the bride."
The words rang out, final and absolute, and for a heartbeat the world held still.
Jay looked up at me, eyes shimmering, veil trembling just slightly. My chest tightened — not with nerves, but with the kind of certainty I'd never known before her.
I cupped her face gently, thumbs brushing away the tears that had slipped free. The chapel blurred — the flowers, the candles, the crowd — all fading until it was just her.
Then I kissed her.
The room erupted.
Mayo cheered loud enough to shake the rafters. Ci‑N groaned, muttering something about "finally putting us out of our misery." Drew dabbed at his eyes like he was starring in a soap opera, while Blaster cranked up music from the back row. David smiled, calm and proud, and Felix gave me a rare nod of approval.
It was chaos. It was perfect.
Jay laughed against my lips, pulling back just enough to whisper, "We did it."
I smiled, crooked and certain. "We're still us."
And in that moment, I knew — this wasn't just a kiss. It was the start of forever.
