Comfort

This takes place a week after the previous chapter.

Conan woke up feeling uncomfortable, he was sitting on a chair, his hands were tied behind him. He was in a place he didn't know.

"You're finally awake." He heard a familiar voice say, one that he didn't like, he looked up and saw a figure, he couldn't see very well since the room was dark except for a lamp near him.

"..Gin." Conan says as he spots a glimpse of his hair. "Indeed." Gin answers. "I finally have you in my possession, Kudo Shinichi." Conan looks shocked.

"Oh and also the little traitor, bring her in here." He orders someone and Conan's eyes widen as he watches the door open. 'Fück, it's Haibara.' he thought as he sees a guy holding her arm and throwing her on the floor, she winces in pain, she looks hurt, her body has blood all over.

"Haibara!" Conan yells trying to free himself. "Don't try to get out, these are super tight chains." Gin says laughing. "Let her go you fücking maniac!" Conan yells again as he looks at Gin with hatred. "Oh but I can't do that, traitors deserve punishments." Gin says as he walks over to Haibara and grabs her by her hair making her look up at him.

"And you'll watch as I make her pay for what she did." Gin says as he lets her go and grabs a gun. Haibara looks at Conan weakly. "No! Get the fück away from her!" Conan yells trying to free himself again, he cuts himself with the chains but he doesn't care about the pain right now.

"Any last words Sherry?" Gin asks as he puts the gun on her head. "Stop!" Conan yells. "Goodbye Sherry." Gin says before a loud gunshot was heard and an evenly loud "no" from Conan.

Haibara laid lifelessly on the floor. Conan had tears on his face as he looked at the pool of blood around her. He felt his world crash down and watched as Gin had his evil smirk plastered on his face.

Conan quickly got up from bed, panting, and breathing heavily, he was sweating all over his body. Haibara was next to him in bed, she had a worried look on her face. She waited for him to calm down a little before she asked him.

"Shinichi..what's wrong?" He heard her soft voice and looked at her, he felt relief all over his body. He quickly hugged her tightly, she was taken aback but hugged him back.

"Did you have a nightmare?" She asked again as he let go of her and held her face. "Thank god it was a dream." He mumbled as he got closer to her and rested his head on her shoulder, breathing in her strawberry scent. He wanted to make sure she was here, he held her and felt her heartbeat, to reassure himself that she's alive.

"Hey..I'm here, don't worry, I'll always be here." She said as he looked up at her. "Go take a quick shower, you're sweating." She said as he reluctantly got up and walked to the washroom. "I'll get you some spare clothes." She said as he entered the washroom and closed the door.

After he was done, he got out with a towel around his waist. He saw her sitting on her side of the bed with the lamp on, his clothes were on the bed. "Sorry that I woke you up, you can go back to sleep." He says as he wears his clothes. "I'm good.." she says waiting for him to finish.

He sits down on the bed next to her, they both don't say anything until she decided to speak. "Do you want to tell me what happened.?" Haibara asks looking at him. He sighs before saying. "I..I lost you...Gin h-he..killed you infront of me." He finally finishes. Haibara looks at him as he looks away, she knew it was difficult for him, he did witness her die infront of him after all.

"It's okay now, we defeated them years ago yeah? I'm here, no one's gonna take me away." She reassures him as she gets closer to him. "I don't want to lose you, ever." He says looking at her. She knew they weren't gonna sleep anytime soon. "Come here." She says opening her arms for him. He gets closer to her and rests his head on her chest, she wraps her arms around him.

"I'm here and I'll always be here." She says reassuring him, she played with his hair, trying to get him to fall asleep. She kept whispering sweet words to him. "I can't afford the thought of losing you." He says looking up at her. 'He's still thinking about the nightmare.' she thought of something to distract him from it.

"Take off your shirt." She says and he quickly shoots up, wondering what he heard was correct. "It's not what you think, just take it off."  'perv' she thought.

He thought for a sec than got out of her hold to take his shirt off. He then laid back down into the same position. She started to trail her fingers down his chest and stomach, going up and down in that way several times. His mind starts to relax and softens at her touch.

"You know your touch is making me think of possible ways this night could end." He says making her blush. At least she was distracting him from the nightmare. "You're so down for me." She says teasing him. Thinking he'll object. "Oh yes I am." He says smirking.

She was a bit surprised but continued as normal. His mind started to wander back to his nightmare. Haibara noticed the uncomfortable look on his face and started to improve her caresses. She went up to his shoulders, down his arms, then back up to his chest, slowly near his abs and almost too close to his hips.

Conan felt something in his stomach stir and blushed a little. His breath hitched as he felt Haibara slowly getting closer but before anything happened, she brought her hand up to his chest again.

"You're such a tease." He says with a knowing smirk on his face. "Hm? I don't know what you're talking about..I'm just trying to make you forget about your dream." She said acting innocent.

"Mhm don't play dumb now, you know what you were doing." He says holding her hand, kissing it slowly. "Is it working though?" She asked looking at him. "Almost too perfect." Conan said, he leaned forward towards her to place a kiss on her lips.

She kissed back holding his neck, he deepened the kiss and tilted her head to the side to slip his tongue in her mouth. They kissed like that for a few mins and then separated to catch their breath.

"Do you feel sleepy?" He asks only inches away from her. "Not really why?" She asks him raising a brow. He straighted his position so now he was almost on top of her, he held her hands and got closer to her face. Her ragged breaths tickled his neck the closer he got, then he waisted no time claiming her lips with his again.

They kissed passionately and desperately like that, he slithered his hands to her waist and she pulled him closer from his nape. They stopped for another moment to breathe, Conan dipped his head towards her neck and started laying kisses there. While Haibara played with the ends of his hair and touched his bare back.

Conan began placing one hickey on her collarbone, than another below her jaw, all the way to a sensitive spot near her ear, that made her moan a little and Conan groaned at her reaction. "You actually make me go crazy for you at times like these." He says continuing to leave kisses on her neck.

After he was done, he laid beside her and she wrapped her arm around his body, he snuggled closer to her. "How are you feeling now? Done being emotional?" She asks teasing him. "If I knew I was gonna mess with you like this, then I would've always woken up in the middle of the night." Conan says smirking, earning a blush from her.

They sat in silence for a bit, until Conan spoke up. "I know this is random, but Kaito's visiting next month so he's staying here for a few days." Haibara looked at him confused. "Why, does he need anything?" She asks waiting for a reply.

"I don't think it's that big of a deal but he's trying to run away from a problem that happened to him, and he's my cousin so it's alright I guess." Conan explains and Haibara just nods. "Okay, he's welcome whenever." She says and starts to play with Conan's hair as he closes his eyes to savour her touch.

She yawns and changes her position to a more comfy one. "Come on let's sleep." She says as he hugs her and burries his head in her neck. He tried not to think of the nightmare again and succeeded after a bit. He later slept while hearing her heartbeats and smelling her strawberry scent.
