06:59, 17 April 2025Jeffy checked the red couch room for his parents, and predictably they were in there. There was no Bowser in sight, which was perfect. He walked in, and sat next to his father. Marvin looked at him, a little surprised by his sudden appearance. "Hey Jeffy." He half-ass greeted before giving all of his attention back to the meatball channel.
"Daddy, Bowser has got to go!" Jeffy said, starting off his point strong. Marvin sighed, continuing to watch the TV. "Jesus christ, you need glasses AND hearing aids."
"Jeffy, Bowser does not need to 'go.' He didn't abuse his son, Junior is just... Going through some stuff. He probably doesn't know what to think after being lied to and kidnapped by Chef PeePee." Marvin explained, stuttering throughout.
Jeffy stared blankly at Marvin. "Daddy, where do you get your crack? Because you must be doing drugs if you think that's actually what happened."
Marvin and Rose gasped a little bit. "Jeffy, I do not do drugs! Go to your room!" Marvin shouted.
"NO! FUCK THAT DADDY! YOURE GONNA HEAR ME OUT THIS TIME!" Jeffy yelled back, taking the remote and turning off the TV before throwing it off to the side. "JUNIOR AND CHEF PEEPEE RAN AWAY FROM HERE BECAUSE THAT BITCH BOWSER WAS ABUSING THEM!"
"Why would they call the police first?! It doesn't make sense!" Marvin retorted.
"BECAUSE THE POLICE FORCE AROUND HERE SUCKS! THE COPS ARE DUMBER THAN YOU!" Jeffy exclaimed. "AFTER THEY RAN AWAY BOWSER TOLD EVERYONE THAT CHEF PEEPEE KIDNAPPED JUNIOR BECAUSE THAT WAS THE BEST EXCUSE HE COULD COME UP WITH, AND EVERYONE BELIEVED IT! THEY LOCKED UP CHEF PEEPEE IMMEDIATELY SO HE WOULDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO PROTEST, AND JUNIOR HAD A PANIC ATTACK FROM SEEING HIS DAD AND PASSED OUT!"
Jeffy was breathing hard once he was finished explaining. Marvin blankly stared at him, though Rose looked like she was actually listening. Marvin sighed. "I don't think Bowser would do that. His kid is making all of it up to protect the chef because he thinks that the Chef is still a good guy."
Jeffy was flabbergasted. "Now come on Marvin, Jeffy has a point." Rose said.
"Exactly mommy!" Jeffy exclaimed, relieved that he's making sense to at least 1 person.
"You don't have to take his side, baby. Jeffy, how would you even know about all this. It seems like you know every side of the story, when you weren't even there." Marvin questioned snobbishly.
"You wanna know how, daddy? Maybe it's because I've been in this type of situation before!" Jeffy told his father sternly.
Marvin scoffed. "Sure you have. Just go to your room before you get grounded for longer."
"I HAVE!" Jeffy yelled. "WHEN I LIVED WITH BAD MOMMY, SHE WOULD LOCK ME AND FEEBEE IN A CAGE, HARDLY FEED US, AND ABUSE US WHEN WE MESSED UP EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST! AND YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?! NO ONE BELIEVED US! THE POLICE DIDN'T DO SHIT, NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE WE HAD. THEY TOOK BAD MOMMYS SIDE EVERY TIME!!"
Jeffy's voice started becoming increasingly more wobbly. Marvin started actually listening to what he had to say. Rose even started to tear up a little bit.
"IT WAS LIKE THAT FOR YEARS. EVERY TIME THE COPS WOULD LEAVE SHE WOULD BEAT US FOR SNITCHING. EVERY TIME I'D TELL FEEBEE SOMEONE WOULD BELIEVE US EVENTUALLY, BUT SHE FUCKIN DIED BEFORE THAT HAPPENED!!!" Tears started running down Jeffy's face and onto his shirt, same with Rose, but Jeffy wasn't done yet. "I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH FOR THE BITCH TO BE TIRED OF ME AND DROP ME OFF, BUT JUNIOR ISNT GONNA GET THAT LUCKY! HE ALREADY THINKS HIS DAD IS GONNA KILL HIM AFTER THIS IS ALL OVER! HE'S FUCKING TWELVE DADDY!!! FEEBEE WAS TEN!!!"
The room was silent, the only noise being Rose sniffling and Jeffy breathing heavily. Marvin's eyes were wide. He was surprised. He was surprised Jeffy had it in him to protect Junior that much. But Bowser wouldn't do such a thing. He couldn't.
"If you don't want to get all this through your thick skull, then don't be surprised when I'm being accused of kidnapping Junior to get him away from this hellhole so he doesn't fuckin die like Feebee did." With that Jeffy got up, and stormed off to his room, slamming his door so hard it seemed like the hinges would come off.
Marvin and Rose were dead silent. Rose wiped her tears away, so not even sniffling was breaking the silence occasionally. Marvin stood up, and got the remote off of the floor. It thankfully hadn't been broken by Jeffy tossing it. Marvin then sat back on the couch and turned the TV back on. Rose was appalled.
"You're just going to turn the TV back on after Jeffy dropped that bombshell on us?" She said.
"You know Bowser loves his son, he wouldn't kill his son or anything or the sort. Jeffy is just taking what Junior is saying too literally." Marvin scoffed, clearly not caring about Jeffy's long rant, which didn't make Rose any more happy.
"I'm starting to think otherwise. I've seen how scared that little boy is around his father. I don't think Chef PeePee has the capability to brainwash someone, child or not." Rose explained sympathetically.
Marvin was speechless. "You actually believe him? Don't tell me you actually think they'd just run away instead of asking for help."
"You heard what Jeffy said! The law enforcement around here isn't really enforcing anything besides corruption and racism." Rose told her husband. "Anyone is perfectly capable of bending the truth in these types of situations."
"Oh come on. Bowser isn't that smart, and he's a cool guy. He wouldn't do that." Marvin scoffed.
"Yes! He would! Listen to the evidence for once!" Rose exclaimed.
"Easy for you to say, you always immediately take Jeffy's side on everything!!" Marvin shouted, turning from just annoyed to angry.
"You're doing that with Bowser right now!!" Rose shouted back.
"He has reasons behind why Junior is acting how he is!!!"
"Brainwashing! That's his only reason! And that's hardly even real!! Quit being an idiot, Marvin!"
"How the fuck would you know about anything being real?! YOU AREN'T EVEN FROM THIS PLANET!!!" Marvin stood up and shouted the last part directly at his wife. Rose gasped, and felt herself starting to cry. Marvin took a second to realize what he had said, but he felt really bad afterwards. He tried to apologize, but Rose started talking before he could.
"I'm going to leave for a while." She said sternly, tears starting to go down her face again. "I don't know about you, but I will be supporting Chef PeePee in court." She then walked out of the room, trying her hardest to contain herself.
Marvin sighed to himself. He put his head in his hands and closed his eyes, taking in everything that had just been said.
Maybe Rose and Jeffy did have a point. Jeffy was kind of onto something. But Bowser couldn't have been abusing his son for that long without repercussions.
...Right?
