Dinner felt different. None of his friends were there to eat with him, and Marvin, Rose, and Bowser were sitting with him. Jeffy was still in his room, probably destroying it or something like he always did when he was mad, so he wasn't present.

"What'd you order for supper, Marvin?" Rose asked her husband.

"McDonald's again. I couldn't think of anything else. Don't worry, your order is vegan." Marvin responded.

"What are you getting Jeffy?" Rose asked.

"Definitely not a happy meal." Marvin said. "I haven't been to the store to get more green beans, so I'll just find some other vegetables in the pantry."

"You know, your method of discipline doesn't really work." Bowser started.

"What do you mean...?" Marvin asked.

Y'know, just sending your kid to his room? All his toys and stuff are in there. That's not gonna do anything." Bowser told the shorter man.

"Well I've tried putting him in the corner but that doesn't work either." Marvin said.

"Just give him a reason to be good. He's clearly doing all that shit for attention. Give him negative attention, and he'll start shaping up into a better kid. That's how I was raised." Bowser said.

"Negative attention?"

"Yeah, like giving him the belt or sending him to military school for a day just to scare him." Bowser recommended. Junior couldn't believe Bowser was talking about this right in front of him. He avoided all eye contact, but he could tell his dad was glancing at him as he spoke.

As Marvin was about to respond, there was a knock at the door. "That must be the food. Rose, can you get it while I find Jeffy something?"

"Of course." Rose said, getting up and going to the door while Marvin went into the kitchen. Junior was alone with his father once again, which made his heart start beating faster.

"I bet you recognize some of those methods I was talking about, dontcha?" Bowser mumbled to his son. Junior didn't answer, and continued facing away instead. Bowser frowned, and pinched Junior's arm. Junior shot up and inched away from Bowser. "Did you hear me?"

Y-yea..." Junior spat out, trembling in fear. Bowser smirked, knowing damn well he was scaring the crap out of Junior with minimal effort. Rose came back to the dining room, and sat the large bag of food on the table with a thud.

"Alright, I don't exactly know what you guys ordered, so you might wanna wait for Marvin so there's no mix-ups." Rose said.

After Marvin brought some peaches up to his room, and hearing some profanity shouted from Jeffy, Marvin came back downstairs and sorted everything out.

Junior tried to sneak away from the table to go back to his room, but Bowser ordered him to stay and eat at the table so he didn't make a mess. Junior reluctantly came back and scooted his chair away from Bowser before nibbling at his chicken nuggets.

It felt good to eat an actual meal at home for once, but with his father breathing down his neck, he'd rather still be outside taking short meal breaks.

Once everyone was done, they all threw their trash in the big Uber Eats bag and went their separate ways. Marvin and Rose took advantage of the empty red couch like they had been and went to watch more TV. Junior went upstairs and locked himself in his room to feel at least a little more safe from his father.

"Hey guys, I'm Charleyyy." The famous Charleyyy said on the TV screen. An applause track played, then he continued talking. "Today, I'm walking my dog. I even got it a cool new coat! Have a look."

The camera panned downwards to a hotdog in a bun with leash around it. "It's a pretty lazy dog. It just doesn't want to move!" Charleyyy said, tugging the leash.

"Heh, this show is pretty funny. I can see why Bowser likes it. Though, I don't know how he's obsessed with it." Marvin commented.

"Hey Marvin, can I talk to you about something?" Rose asked.

"Of course, baby. What is it?" Marvin replied. Rose went to speak, but then Jeffy came into the living room.

"I don't want to go to school tomorrow daddy!" Jeffy exclaimed.

"God damnit Jeffy, you know you have to!" Marvin shouted back.

"Fuck that, daddy!" Jeffy said.

"Just go to your room." Marvin told him. He then thought back to what Bowser had told him earlier. "Or... I'll get my belt and... hit you with it?"

"Fine, Bowser's twin." Jeffy grumbled, flipping Marvin off and leaving the room.

"Marvin, I don't think you should say things like that to Jeffy..." Rose said.

"I'm not actually gonna hit him." Marvin told her. "I'm going to go check if he's actually going to his room." He got up and left the room to follow Jeffy.

"Okay Marvin..."

Meanwhile at the police station, Officer Simmons was on the phone with Bowser.

"Yeah, I'll be there tomorrow around noon, I was just really busy today at the station... alright... yeah, sounds good. Bye, mate." He said, hanging up the call. "Now I can clock out and go home... finally." He said, slipping his cop shirt off, leaving him in a black T-shirt. He heard a door open behind him, and turned towards the noise, ready for either a talk with the chief, or a possible escaped inmate. Though the person he saw was neither of those people.

"Hey Simmons, I'm back from vacation." The man said, who was none other than Brooklyn T Guy.

"Oh, hey Guy! There's been a lot of stuff going on around here. Want me to fill you in?" Simmons offered.

"Sure, I'm ready to get back to work after spending that long with my annoying wife." Brooklyn said, leaning against the wall. "Lay it on me."
