Par Thirty-Tree
23:32, 9 July 2014Sophia’s POV
We went through the airport and got our cases (we had one case each- so five in total) and then we had to look for the boys. The boys had tweeted us saying they’d be here to pick us up, yesterday before we got on the plane. “Where are they?” Beth mumbled as we all strained our necks to look for the five familiar boys.
I scanned the crowd of people- which was a lot, as it was a huge airport. People were walking everywhere, pushing trolley’s stacked high with cases and bags, parents holding on to struggling children that try and run off, couples holding hands and weaving through the crowds, and other people like us, the people who are looking around for loved ones, friends, holiday reps, or taxi drivers. We must have been standing there for about three minutes, looking like complete idiots as we searched for our boyfriends in the mass of people, until I finally saw someone I knew.
“There’s Paul!” I shouted and we all grabbed our case which we had left on the floor whilst we were looking. We then ran over to where Paul was standing with a trolley for us to put our cases on. As soon as we reached him we started firing questions at him all at the same time.
“How are the boys?”
“Are they okay?”
“Did they get new girlfriends whilst we were gone?”
“Did they miss us?”
“Where are they?”
“Are they hiding?”
“Are they in the car?”
“Stop!” Paul said holding up his hand and we all clamped our mouths shut.
“Breathe,” He said calmer and we all took a deep breath through our noses, as our mouths were still shut.
“Calm?” He asked and we all nodded silently.
“Right, to answer your questions,” Paul said slowly.
“The boys are good.”
“Yes, they are okay.”
“No, they didn’t get new girlfriends.” (He rolled his eyes at this one).
“Yes, they missed you, a lot.”
“No, they are not hiding.”
“No, they are not in the car.”
“They are at an interview.”
He answered every question individually.
“But, they said they’d be here,” Lauren whispered, looking very upset, as though she was about to cry, I placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. We all new Lauren missed Harry a lot, as we missed our own boyfriends, she was forever worrying about him finding a new girlfriend, even though we kept telling her he loved her and nothing would ever change that. Sometimes we had to slap her (lightly) across the face to get her to snap out of her worrying; it could be quite annoying, because then we’d worry about our boyfriends leaving us. Then we’d all be worrying and all hell would break loose.
“I know, and they are just as gutted as you, they really wanted to come, but they had a last minute interview to do. But look on the bright side, you can all clean up and look all pretty for when they see you,” Paul smiled.
“Good point, I probably look like a tramp,” Beth said and we all mumbled our agreements; Paul rolled his eyes at us.
“Right, put your cases on the trolley and stay close, I don’t want to lose any of you,” He said looking at me specifically.
“Just because I like to wander off, does not mean I will,” I huffed.
“You will Soph,” Mel laughed.
“Whatever,” I muttered and placed my case on top of everyone else’s on the trolley. I am totally not going to wander off without them. I don’t do that anyway, sometimes something just catches my eye and I make a little detour, but I always find them in the end. It’s not my fault they wander off and leave me alone, or they don’t keep a hold of me. I cannot be held responsible for my actions! Seriously, some people.
Hm, I need a pee. Is there any toilets here? I followed behind the girls and Paul, looking for a restroom sign. When I found one I walked over to it and walked in. Once I was done with my business I walked back out to see that Paul and the girls had mysteriously disappeared. I wandered around the airport for a bit and then went outside. I finally found Paul and the girls by a car- which I suppose was ours, Paul looked very frustrated, I wonder why… I walked over to them and Paul turned around, he opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off.
“Now,” I said sternly, “What did I tell you about wandering off? That you shouldn’t do it, so what did you do? You wandered off. It’s a good job I found you, or you lot could all be lost in the airport right now! Then we’d never get back to meet the boys.”
Everything was silent for a minute then all the girls burst out laughing and Paul had an amused look on his face, but was trying not to laugh. He had to keep up with his badass rep; don’t want no one making him laugh and ruining his rep as a badass security guard, who gonna kick your ass if you come near his boys.
“Honestly, some people. It’s a wonder we get anywhere,” That sentence did it, Paul cracked up laughing with the rest of the girls. I shook my head and climbed in the car.
“Hurry up, we haven’t got all day,” I shouted and everyone climbed in the car, still laughing- Lauren’s laugh could be heard from a mile away… not to mention the snorts… get ready hear they come… coming… anytime now... Snort... There you go.
When we got to the hotel we were staying at, the girls had a separate room to the boys… not that we’d sleep in separate rooms, we just told Paul we would. We planned on sneaking in there later tonight, for a huge slumber party!
We all grabbed some new clothes out of our suitcases, I chose some black short shorts and a white tube top- I wasn’t planning on going anywhere, so I might as well be comfy. We took it in turns to use the bathroom to shower and get ready. Once we were all ready, Paul said he was going to pick the boys up, but we had to stay here.
We all sat on one of the beds- we hadn’t claimed any as our own, because well, we wouldn’t be sleeping in here tonight anyway, so it was pointless. We all sat in silence, none of us had anything to say- which was a first, especially for Lauren. We all just had huge smiles on our faces and were staring at the door, waiting for them to come in. I swear every second felt like a life time. The whole room was silent except for the clock that alerted us of every second that past with its annoying ticking. “What’s taking them so long?” Lauren finally broke the silence.
“You don’t think they’re hurt do you?” I asked nervously.
“You two, pack it in, Paul’s been gone one minute, he’s probably not even in the car yet,” Molly said.
“Sorry,” Lauren and I muttered.
“I can’t just sit here, it’s killing me!” Beth stood up.
“I agree,” Mel stood up too and we all joined the two of them. So instead of sitting staring at the door with a smile on our faces we were now standing staring at the door with a smile on our faces. I walked over to the window and pulled back the shut curtain a little. I wondered why we had to come through the back door, and why the curtains were closed, but now I saw. There was a huge, and I mean huge, swarm of Directioners outside. All of them screamed loudly at the sight of the curtain moving and I saw them all pointing up at the window.
“Hey guys, look at this,” I laughed and opened the curtain more so the other girls could see.
Suddenly, my phone started buzzing like crazy in my pockets, I pulled it out and saw that my mentions on Twitter were going crazy. The Directioners outside were all tweeting about seeing us. I waved down at them and began tweeting and following some of them back- the ones that were being nice, I just ignored the ones that were sending me hate. My mentions continued to go crazy as did the other girls. This was all so weird. Even after all this time, I’m still not used to it.
Suddenly, my eyes were covered and I couldn’t see anything. I screamed and put my hands on the window to support myself, dropping my phone on the floor in the process.
“Hey babe,” A sexy Irish voice whispered in my ear. God I missed him.
“You nearly gave me a heart attack!” I said removing his hands from my eyes and kissing them, before I turned around and kissed him.
“I missed you,” He smiled.
“I missed you too,” I grinned and kissed him again.
“You look great by the way,” He smirked, his hands on my waist as he pulled me closer to him.
“Thanks,” I blushed.
“You should wear tube tops and short shorts more often,” He winked and I laughed.
“I bet you’d really like that,” I grinned.
“I would,” He laughed.
“I bet all the other boys that saw me would like that too, don’t you think?” I smirked and he stopped laughing, “Not such a good idea now is it?”
“Maybe you should just wear it when I’m here?” He smirked and I laughed.
“Sure,” I winked and then we both were laughing.
“So, how’s America treating you?” I asked after we stopped laughing.
“It’s been awesome, but I miss home,” He sighed. My phone was still buzzing like a crazy person on blue skittles on the floor because I hadn’t bothered picking it up yet.
“Not long now and you’ll get to go home though,” I reminded him.
“Yeah, that’s going to be great,” He smiled and pulled me on his lap as we sat on the closest bed. Even though the other eight were in here, it felt like there was just the two of us, “Plus you’re here now.”
“Stop, you’re making me blush,” I joked and he laughed.
“I’m so glad you are here though,” He whispered against my neck.
“Me too… well glad you’re here… because it’d be weird if I was glad I was here, unless I meant glad I was here with you- which I am, but if I meant glad I was in America- not that I’m not happy about being in America- because I am; I mean I’ve never been before, and it’s awesome! Not that I’ve seen much, but still!” I rambled until Niall cut me off by kissing me.
“Shut up,” He whispered against my lips.
“Shutting up,” I laughed and he kissed me again, his hands on the small of my back, bringing me closer to him.
Beth’s POV
The people look like ants from up here. Hello little- WOW! Everything went black. Is this what it’s like to be blind? “Lou, tell me this is you… ha, that rhymed,” I laughed to myself.
“Yes, yes it did Beth,” Louis laughed behind me, aw, I missed him so much. I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him tightly.
“I missed you,” I whispered before kissing him.
“I missed you too babe,” He grinned.
“Come on,” He smiled at me after a moment of silence and grabbed my hand dragging me off somewhere. To the unknown world we go! Jokes, it was just outside the hotel room and up the corridor a bit.
“Are we allowed up here Lou?” I asked as he pushed open a door that said ‘Roof’ on it and then we began climbing some stairs.
“I don’t know,” He answered truthfully.
“Okay,” I laughed. I like adventures. Especially ones with Louis. He pushed open another door and the sun light hit us, wow it was so warm compared to England. He gently pulled me over to where he’d set up a little picnic blanket and a basket of food. “What is this?” I asked stupidly, it was quite obvious what it was, but I couldn’t think of what else to say.
“It’s a picnic on a rooftop, what does it look like?” He laughed and we both sat down.
“Why?” I asked him.
“Can’t a guy treat his girlfriend, who he hasn’t seen in three weeks?” Louis raised his eyebrow at me and laughed, “I remembered that you’ve always wanted to do something spontaneous, and with me being… well me, we can’t really go many places without being noticed, but then I also remembered you’ve always wanted to have a picnic on a rooftop. So, I decided we’d have a spontaneous picnic on a rooftop. You like?”
“I love it,” I grinned and kissed him gently, “And I love you.”
“I love you too,” He grinned.
“I can’t believe you remembered though,” I smiled at him, moving closer so I could rest my head on his chest, as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
“Of course I remember,” He chuckled.
“Not many people do,” I pointed out.
“Your favourite colour is purple, your favourite animal is a tortoise, you always cry when watching The Notebook, PS I Love You and Marley and Me, your favourite books are The Hunger Games and Noughts and Crosses; and when you were eleven you broke a bone in your foot. You also have a bucket list, which you hide in your bedside table under the picture of your family, that you keep in there so it doesn’t get damaged. You-“ I cut him off by kissing him.
“I love you so much for remembering all that,” I whispered.
“I love you too,” He grinned.
“So what do we have to eat?” I asked after a moment of content silence.
“We have your favourite food, lasagne and chips- I cooked… some of it… but Harry helped, a lot… anyway, your favourite drink, Fanta Fruit Twist, followed by your favourite desert, warm chocolate brownie with squirty cream” He winked at me pulling the stuff out the basket.
“Okay, now you’re just showing off,” I laughed.
“If I can’t show off around my girlfriend who can I show off around?” Louis smirked.
“Your boyfriend,” I smirked.
“I thought we agreed not to bring Hazza into this!” Lou pouted.
“I’m sorry Lou,” I laughed and kissed him and he smiled.
“You are forgiven young grasshopper,” He smiled.
“Good,” I laughed.
“Let’s tuck in,” Louis grinned and we started eating. This was perfect. I cannot believe he remembered all of this.
Molly’s POV
My eyes were covered by a pair of hands, making me jump and scream.
“I’m going to kill you Liam,” I laughed as he removed his hands.
“Aw, why are you so good with words Molly, I love you too,” Liam smirked.
“I love you too, but I’m still going to kill you,” I grinned and kissed him.
“Hm, is that the kiss of death? If so, I’ll have it again please,” He winked at me and I laughed.
“Nope,” I shook my head.
“Why?” He pouted.
“You made me jump,” I jutted my bottom lip out.
“I’m sorry Molly,” He smiled innocently.
“Tough,” I said, but it was really hard not to give in, when I’ve been missing him so much as it is.
“Molly,” he sighed as I walked away from him, “I’m sorry, Molly, please don’t be mad at me.”
“I-I’m sorry, I j-just, I’ve missed you s-so much,” I pretended to stutter and cry, with my back to him so he couldn’t see my smile.
“Hey, don’t cry, I missed you too Molly,” He said hugging me from behind.
“Got you,” I grinned up at him.
“You were acting?” He looked shocked.
“Maybe,” I winked and kissed him.
“Well, I never knew you were such a good little actress,” He grinned.
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me Mister Payne,” I grinned.
“Oh really?” He smiled.
“No, you pretty much know everything, oh except once I nearly got arrested because I flashed in a bar, but that was ages ago…” I smiled at him innocently.
“Are you being serious?” He laughed.
“Completely,” I nodded and he laughed harder.
“So that’s twice you’ve nearly been arrested, once for flashing and once for peeing up a policeman’s leg,” He chuckled.
“You knew?” I asked in shock.
“Sophia was on the phone to us at the time,” He laughed and kissed me, “It honestly made my day.”
“Well I can’t even remember it,” I laughed.
“Yeah, I didn’t think you would,” He chuckled.
“So, have you had fun here?” I asked.
“Yeah, it’s been awesome, everything is so different, but it’s all fun,” He grinned, taking my hand and we both sat on one of the five beds.
“Good,” I sighed happily and rested my head on his shoulder. I’m so happy right now, nothing can burst my bubble. Not even an alien attack on the world. Not that that would ever happen.
Mel’s POV
“Zayn I know that’s you, I can smell you,” I laughed, leaning back on to my boyfriend’s chest.
“You can smell me?” He chuckled.
“Yup,” I popped my ‘p’.
“I hope it’s a nice smell,” He smirked.
“It is, if it wasn’t I’d tell you to go shower,” I laughed.
“And I’d ask you to join me,” He winked and I blushed.
“And my reply, is something for you to find out when the question is asked,” I smirked and turned so I was facing him, resting my hands on his chest as he rested his on my waist.
“Aw, you’re going to make me wait?” He pouted.
“Yes,” I laughed and kissed him quickly, well it was meant to be quick, but as I went to pull away, he pulled me closer and deepened the kiss.
“I missed you Mel,” He smiled.
“Hm, I wish I could say the same, but my mum taught me not to lie,” I sighed.
“You make me cry,” He jutted his bottom lip.
“Aw, I’m sorry baby,” I laughed and kissed him quickly.
“So, on a scale of one to ten, how much did you miss me?” Zayn asked me, smirking.
“Hm… I’d say about… eleven, twelve,” I grinned.
“Aw, I love you,” He kissed me.
“I love you too,” I laughed.
“So, are you girls coming Universal with us when we go tomorrow?” He asked.
“Sure,” I smiled, “We can teach you how to do the amazing Chinese tourists.”
“Oh yeah, that picture was truly amazing!” He laughed.
“I’m sexy and I know,” I winked.
“Yes you are,” He laughed and kissed me again.
Lauren’s POV
We were all looking out the window at the fans when I my eyes were covered, I let out a high-pitched scream, as did the other girls, so I knew it wasn’t just me who had been blinded. “If this is a rapist or some weirdo I will kill you because I am waiting to see my boyfriend and if you stop me doing that there will be all hell to pay!” I shouted.
“Aw, Lozzar I love you too,” Harry laughed and took his hands away from my eyes so I could see again.
“Hazza!” I squealed happily and tackled him into a hug, ending up with us both on the floor, with me on top of him.
“Lauren, calm your hormones, unfortunately, there are other people in here too, save that for tonight,” He winked and I blushed a deep shade of red before climbing off him. Well, I sort of climbed off him, he pulled me back down so I was sat on his lap but so I wasn’t facing him.
“I missed you,” He whispered, his lips right next to my ear, making me shiver, and I knew he was smirking, I didn’t even have to look at him to know that.
“I missed you too,” I grinned and twisted my head so I could kiss him.
“I love you,” He mumbled against my lips.
“I love you too,” I smirked and kissed him harder and twisted my body so I was facing him.
“Have you sprayed any fans with silly string recently?” I asked innocently, a smile playing on my lips.
“You heard about that?” He laughed.
“Heard about it? It was all over… everywhere! Not to mention the videos and GIFs,” I laughed.
“It was so funny, but I don’t think the girl liked it,” He chuckled.
“So, met any pretty girls?” I asked casually after a moment.
“Yes, I met this one girl, she was beautiful, the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen in my life. When I saw her for the first time, it was as if nothing in the world mattered anymore; and now, I can’t get her out of my head. She has the most beautiful blonde hair, and a great figure, she has the most amazing hazel eyes I have ever seen and every time I look into them I get lost in them, and I find it hard to concentrate on anything but her,” Harry said honestly and I felt a lump rise in my throat. He found someone else. He found someone prettier and better than me- to be fair that’s not hard, considering I’m like a tramp.
“Oh,” Was all I could say, trying not to sound to hurt, but I couldn’t hide it; Harry burst out laughing. “What?” I asked him trying my hardest not to cry.
“The girl,” He said, after he calmed down a bit, but I cut him off.
“I don’t care, I don’t want to know how amazing your new girlfriend is,” I managed to choke out looking away from him.
“Who said anything about a new girlfriend?” He smirked, lifting my head gently so I had to look him in the eye.
“B-But, you said…” I trailed off. He couldn’t be talking about me?
“Yes, Lauren I was talking about you,” He smiled at me.
“But I’m not gorgeous, my hair is beautiful, my eyes aren’t amazing, and I doubt that you can’t concentrate on anything but me. And my figure isn’t great; I’m like a giant marsh mellow!” I said.
“Lauren, you are so harsh on yourself... You are beautiful, no matter what they say, words can’t bring you down” He began singing softly to me, changing the words slightly, from Christina Aguliera, Beautiful, “You are beautiful, in every single way, yes words can’t bring you down.”
“So don’t you bring yourself down today,” He whispered the last bit to me, a smile toying on his lips.
“Harry,” I whispered, suddenly over-whelmed with tears that just poured down my face, “Have I ever told you I love you so much?”
“I think you’ve mentioned it once or twice,” He smirked and wiped my tears away.
“I love you,” He smiled and kissed me softly.
