Chapter 8

Lexi's POV

My smirk faded away, I glared at Kol but kept my head held high not going to fall for that trick. "Go ahead... I don't care about that Gilbert boy." I said sternly letting the lies run off my tongue.

Kol cocked his head and smirks pulling out his phone. "So you don't mind if I just send a quick text to my vampires and he'd be dead in a second?" He smirked.

I try not to give in but Kol raises his phone to press buttons. I couldn't control what I said next "STOP!" I yelled blurring over grabbing his phone and throwing it over to the wall. I blured over to kol grabbing him by his shirt and bang him against the wall. "Father or Not. Do Not touch Jeremy." I threatened. I drop Kol and glared at Klaus. 

Klaus smirked and tried to look into my soul. "I want 10 hybrids by Friday."

I walked over to him, with my heels clattering on the floor. "Look..." I smirked. "You bring those stupid werewolves, bring a bag of blood, and I'll make your stupid hybrids."

Klaus smirked. "Good it's settled--"

"But if you or anyone hurt Jeremy before then and after I will kill those hybrids and kill just kill you myself." I smirked.

"You can't kill me without a oak stake--" Klaus said.

"Oh, if there was another original hybrid that can tear your heart out. I've been been around Klaus. I know my ways." I smirked then turned around glancing at Kol who blurs up and walks over to me. 

"So you have feelings for Jeremy?" Kol asked.

I raised my eyebrows. "That is none of your concern." I said folding my arms.

"You know Jeremy and I were great mates well until he found out I was an original vampire." Kol mentioned.

"You forgot , physco, crazy, endless killer." I added.

"Darling, your my offspring, not like your one either. Plus adding the hybrid to the plate, he'd probably hate you for the rest of your life." Kol smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "At least I'm more fun." I smirked.

"Ouch, Kol must hurt." Klaus chuckled.

I rolled my eyes.Why am I still here? I wondered then started walking towards the door.

"Maybe I should have a chat with him?" Kol asked.

I snapped my head towards him "Now you're being a father?" I laughed. "Don't. Cause it's not needed here." I smirked.

I walked to the hallway but bumped into someone. "watch were you're going." a uptight old accent voice said.

I looked over at the blonde that walks in with a smirk. I scoff. "Rebekah Mikaelson." I smiled.

She turns around. "Who are you?" She asked.

"You're competion." I smiled polietly.

Her smirk faded then I blurred away not wanting to be in that house anymore.

I hurried back but I just ended up in the woods letting my thoughts wonder about Kol, Klaus, and hybrids but the thought of Kol hurting Jeremy came into my mind.

I walked into the woods and suddenly came upon a red lakehouse. I walked through the branches and heard voices.  

"Go Run around the lake four times!" I heard Damon's voice. 

"No, you're not the boss of me." Jeremy voice said. 

"I am if you want to eat these pizzas." Damon threatened. "Now go." Damon said.  I heard pacing of steps then running. I peaked out of the woods and saw Jeremy running over. I smiled seeing him in his tank top and shorts, seeing his muscles. 

As he started running closer to me, I saw Matt running far behind him. I quickly grab Jeremys arm as he runs past and pull him into the woods. Pulling my lips on his lips. 

He pulls away quickly and sees me. "Lexi? What are you doing here?" 

"Well, a great response for a surprise kiss." I smirked. 

His lips curved into a smile then leans down kissing me softly. I smile through the kiss feeling butterflies. I grab his tank top and pull him closer as he wraps his hands around me not breaking the kiss. 

He pulls away slightly "What are you doing here?" He asks. 

I smirk. "Well, I heard what the football player told you. Lake. So I came and checked out, plus I missed you." I said.

He chuckles. "Damon would like you here. Especially since its hot outside." 

I smirked taking my hand fanning myself. "Or I could just sit here and fan myself while I watch you work." I sat down on a rock and laughed. 

He laughed as he grabs my hand and pulls me off the rock. "That wouldn't be fair." He smirked. 

"Then what will?" I asked cocking my head smirking. 

He smiles and leans in but before he kissed me he whispered "Doing this." He said then smashed his lips against mine.

He wraps his hands around my hips. as I wrap my arm around his neck pulling him closer.  

I didn't want to see Jeremy hurt, not in a life time because our lips were matched for each other. 

I promised myself not to fall in love but for some reason, Jeremy got under my skin and hard to pull away from. 

"This could be better if were on a bed." He said between the kiss. 

I laughed "We can leave." I said. 

He smiled. "I like that idea." I nodded in agreement and kept my arms around his neck. 

"Jeremy!" Matt called. "Where are you? Jeremy!" Matt called. 

Jeremy looked back at the lake as we both saw Matt calling. Jermery looked back at me. 

"Saved by the friend." I smirked. "You're lucky." 

He laughed." I should get going. Do you want to stay?" 

I shook my head. "It's okay. --" 

He grabs my hand. "No, come on. You can't just come and leave like that." He said smiling. 

I couldn't help but smile. "Okay." I followed him out of the woods and walked over to Matt. Matt saw Jeremy then smiled but soon he saw me and his smile faded backing up. 

"Jeremy! She's a ---" Matt began to say. 

"Matt, run around the lake again!" Damon walked over to us. Matt glares over at Damon then runs again. Damon looks at us holding hands then looks at me "Jeremy, go get the stakes ready." 

"Okay..." Jeremy said then walked pulling me along. 

"No, I want to talk to Lexi. You can go by yourself." Damon said. 

"What? No, I'm not going to leave her here with you." Jeremy said. 

"You're a big boy, I'm pretty sure you can go by yourself. She's fine with me." Damon glared at Jeremy "Now go." 

Jeremy rolled his eyes. Then looked at me. "If he does anything just yell." Jeremy said kissing me on the cheek. I smiled and nodded.

Then Jeremy walked away glaring at Damon. I watched Jeremy walk away far in the distant then turned to Damon glaring.

"What' is your problem?" I asked.

"Why the hell are you doing here? And with Jeremy?" He ignored my question and said harshly.

I sighed. "Jeremy is a friend. And I came because I wanted to tell you that Kol knows who I am now." I said

"So? Are we going to die?" He asked. 

"No." I looked at Jeremy packing up the stakes far in the distant. "Klaus wants me to make hybrids for him..." 

"No you can't." Damon said but I cutted him off. 

"Kol threatened to kill Jeremy." I said sighing and looking at Damon. 

Damon blue flame icy eyes calmed down sighing " He can't."

"But he will. He will do anything to get what he wants. Don't you understand, that if I don't make the hybrids Kol will slowly kill Jeremy." I said.

"That wont happen, you can't make any hybrids. "Damon said. 

"I have to, I don't want to see Jeremy hurt.  " I said. 

"I wont let it happen." Damon said.

"How do we know for sure Damon, it's Kol." I said looking at him. 

He puts his hand on my shoulder "I won't let it happen... I promise." He said.

I slightly smirk. "You said the exact same thing back in 1924."

He smirks. "Did I?"

"You probably don't remember... but I let it happen. I'm sorry." I said the walked away after he gave me a confused look.

As I walked over to Jeremy. I heard Damon say "I do remember, and I forgive you." He said.

I laughed.
