Chapter 1

Ushijima took his father's invitation to have a vacation abroad thinking that it will help him heal from all the heart aches he experienced in just a span of two days. He was dumped by the person he liked and his best friend left him with only a letter after confessing his feelings. Staying abroad with his dad really did help him forget the pain but not all. Every night he still thinks about Tendou. Every time he bakes he ended up baking Tendou's favorite flavor. Even though he tried his best to shift his attention to something, the thought of Tendou always get inside his mind, he tried to contact him but it seems like Tendou changed his number, he tried to ask their friends but they also don't have any idea where Tendou is. He never thought that a day would come that he will end up having a feeling for Tendou since the person he liked was Oikawa, but as he think of it, the pain that he felt about Tendou leaving him was heavier than Oikawa dumping him and that's when he realized that he had feelings for Tendou.

He stayed abroad for seven months, and during his stay he was able to open 3 branches of his cake cafe abroad and all the three was a success, his father helped in managing one branch since it's close to their house. He actually enjoyed his stay abroad but still did not forget about Tendou and his confession.

He never did.

While Ushijima was packing his things because he will have his flight back to Japan early in the morning he received a message from Goshiki saying that he saw Tendou.

He never thought receiving a massage like that would make him so happy.

He called Goshiki.

"Did you really saw Tendou?"

"I think. I'm not sure though , because I can't see the person's face but I really think that was Tendou-san, they have the same hair."

"Oh. Okay, thank you for telling me."

"You're welcome Senpai."

Ushijima ended the call. I hope it's the really him. He thought as he finish up packing his things.

The next day, his father drove him to the airport. He smiled and thanked his father before going inside. During the plane ride all he can think is seeing Tendou, how will he approach him, how will he start a conversation or will they be able to talk again properly.

After 9 hours flight Ushijima finally arrived at Tokyo, he's finally back after 7 months. He directly went to the hotel he called for reservation and stayed there for the day before going back to Miyagi.

One month passed after he came back but he still didn't see Tendou. He's losing hope even if he doesn't want to. He keeps on checking Tendou's social media accounts but there are no updates and he's starting to think unnecessary scenarios.

He decided to open another branch of his cafe in Tokyo, finding a place was not difficult he found a two story place where he turned the first floor into his cafe while the second floor as his living place. The preparation only took 3 weeks and he was able to open his cafe. 

The first day was a success. It was hectic since he's the only person attending the cafe but it was fun and he's already used to it. 

"Yes dad, I will."

"I know you son, do you want me to hire someone for your new cafe?"

"No. Dad I can handle this, it's not like this is my first time opening a cafe."

"Well, okay. By the way did you already saw Tendou?"

"No, i guess the person Goshiki saw was not him."

"It's already one month since you went back there, and almost 1 year since you lost contact with him are you sure everything is alright? Did you try asking his parents?"

"No." he sighed. "I don't have their contacts dad. I know everything is alright. It's Tendou we're talking about."

He heard his father sighed. "Okay, then I'll end the call now, take care son."

"Thanks, you too dad. bye."

The call ended.

Tendou is safe. he is safe.

He said to himself as he went to bed.

Ushijima woke up earlier than his alarm. He always does this, waking up earlier than his alarm but he still sets it the night before going to sleep. He prepared his breakfast, took a bath and went down to open his cafe.

It's still 9 o'clock so the costumers are still few,  he was sitting on the counter spacing out, thinking about Tendou again. Tendou is always inside his head.  Ah, I always think about him, now I am seeing things. He thought when he saw someone outside looking like Tendou. He sighed and closed his eyes.

The bell on the door suddenly rang indicating that a customer came inside, and it made Ushijima's focus came back. 

"Good morning Wakatoshi-kun." A familiar voice said. 

Ushijima stared at the guy in front of him. He blinked and pinched his hand.

"Am I still seeing things?"

he said because the guy that he's been trying to find for almost a year suddenly came to his cafe. 

"What are you talking about?" Tendou laughed. "No, you're not seeing things Wakatoshi-kun." Tendou smiled waved his hand and said "Hi"

Ushijima doesn't know how to react, he's really talking to Tendou, Tendou is really standing in front of him.

"Hi." Was the only thing Ushijima can say.  He's just too happy to see Tendou. "Hi Tendou." he said again, pulling Tendou on a tight hug, even if it's difficult because the counter is separating them.

Tendou winced, but the  chuckled at how Ushijima reacted.

"Hey, there are costumers lining up."

Ushijima looked at the line and the girls gently smiled.

"Sorry, uhm, do you have any orders?"

Tendou nodded. "Hmm, still the same. I hope you're serving my favourite cake."

"Of course,   I'll get it for you."

"No, it's okay, take their orders first, I'll go sit there." he said pointing at the table near the window.

Ushijima nodded. Tendou went to the table he chose and Ushijima took the orders of the girls.

Tendou sat on the chair, facing Ushijima. He smiled as he look at him taking orders and suddenly tears started streaming down his face. He blinked, and quickly wiped his tears before Ushijima could see him but he just couldn't stop the tears from falling.
