Ten Years Later

'Good morning, Mari,' Damian said as he noticed Marinette's eyes slowly open. 

'It's the high school reunion, right?' Marinette mumbled-asked. 

'Yeah, for Gotham Academy, then you'll fly to Paris for Collège Françoise Dupont's high school reunion,' Damian said, sitting up on the bed as he placed his hand on Marinette's head. 

'Come on, let's get ready,' Marinette said as she grabbed Damian's hand and bolted to the bathroom with him. 

As the two of them prepared for the day, their toddler, Dahlia, and their young child, Matthew or Matt for short, slept peacefully. As Damian finished his preparations, he woke Matt up from his room that he shared with Dahlia. 

As the whole family got ready, they started heading to a fancy restaurant where the alumni of Gotham Academy have agreed to meet up.

'Hi Chlo!' Marinette said as Chloe and her greeted each other. 

'Hey, I was just about to head in,' Chloe replied as her son, Carlos greeted Dahlia and Matt. 

Chloe and Marinette started talking while Damian and Jon greeted each other. 

'So... how is it being superman now that your father's resting?' Damian asked. 

'There's not much crime... I'm usually just doing normal work instead, what about you?' Jon answered, following the girls into the venue. 

'I'm tired, I have no idea how my father managed Wayne Enterprise,' Damian answered as they went to one of the private rooms for their class where they took a seat. 

The group met up with their friends, Lorenzo,  Lucy, Lloyd, Jay, Clara, Vanessa and Rebecca. Lorenzo is a successful fashion designer who does commissions, unlike Marinette. Lucy and Lloyd are happily married with a daughter named Lunox. Jay realised he's aroace and is happily single. Clara is a famous actress and is married to a fellow actor. Vanessa and Rebecca are lesbian... for each other. So the two of them are also married. After a long time of catching up, the door opened revealing Lizzie and Marcus. 

'Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry for being late,' Lizzie said as she walked in with their son, Louis, while Marcus held onto their daughter, Maddy. 

'What happened?' Marinette asked. 

'Was coming back from the airport and there was a horrible traffic jam, there was an accident,' Lizzie said as she sighed. 

'Oh my goodness, I hope they're ok,' Marinette replied as she led Lizzie to her seat. 

They all feasted on the food as they talked about what happened over the last few years.

Marinette, Damian, Chloe, Jon, Lizzie and Marcus followed Rebecca and Vanessa to the cemetery where Alison was buried. The grave wasn't that pretty, it was a small plot of land because Alison's parents never wanted to give her anything, but to keep up appearances, they decided to give her a cheap grave. 

The group cleaned the grave a little bit and added some flowers, making silent prayers for Alison. 

'May her soul rest in peace,' Marinette muttered as she placed her flowers on the grave.

'We are going to Paris for the Françoise Dupont reunion,' Marinette said as the group left the cemetery. 

'I see... What about Valda?' Rebecca asked as they started walking out of the cemetery. 

'She recently got arrested again so she's still in jail, Alya fought in prison and had her sentence lengthened, I wanna visit them in jail just for the fun of it,' Marinette said, following the rest of the group out. 

'I hope you guys will stay safe, never know what she might do,' Vanessa warned.

The next day, they arrived in Paris, France. After a short break at their hotel, they headed to a nice restaurant where their classmates were gathered. 

They first met with Nathaniel and Max, both of which were doing well in their respective careers. Nathaniel brought Marc along and the both of them have published multiple amazing comics. One of which being called "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir" or "Miraculous: Les Aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir" with permission from Ladybug and Adrien, except that they ended up together. It was a fun read though. Max was instead in charge of one of the largest tech company in the world.

(A/N: Just an easter egg to a theory I found that the whole show was just a comic book made by Marc and Nathaniel) 

After that, they spoke to Adrien, Juleka, Nino, Kim and Sabrina. Sabrina caught up with Chloe, apologizing for doubting her. Adrien, Juleka, Nino and Kim were just talking. All of them having respectable careers. 

Moving on, Rose, Alix, Mylène and Ivan. After the truth was revealed, Alix was the most accepting of it, she had her doubts about Lila, but didn't really act on it. Rose didn't really know what to believe while Mylène and Ivan were processing everything. Marinette, Chloe and Lizzie didn't have much to talk about with them so it was just plain greetings. 

Their teachers were also there, Miss Bustier, Ms. Mendeleiev and some other teachers. Miss Bustier was in prison for a short while, but she was out now and she hasn't done anything wrong... again. Ms. Mendeleiev was always a fair teacher and the three girls never had any issues with her, so the conversations weren't awkward.

After lunch, they met with Kagami and Luka who were taking a break from work and they had a tea meeting. Was it a quadruple date? Only they know. 

And for the moment you've been waiting for, prison. The group headed to the prison where everyone was kept. Adrien tagged along to talk to his father. 

'Hello Lila, or should I say Rosa?' Marinette asked, holding the phone for their non-contact visit. 

(A/N: Rosa is rose in Italian and I thought, hey that sounds like a name)

'What do you want?' Lila asked, sitting down and holding the phone reluctantly. 

'Just wanted to talk, how is prison life?' 

'It's fine, I've managed to lie my way to a gang,' Lila replied with a smile. 

'Are you proud of that?' 

'Yes, very much.' 

'Interesting, are you regretting your lies and what you've done to me?' 

'Yes, I'm regretting the fact that I didn't do better and get away with it, I should've planned it more, but alas,' Lila answered. 

'There's no hope for you, is there?' 

'Should've given up hope long ago,' Lila said, hanging the phone back and asking the police officer to bring her back to her cell. 

'Absolutely hopeless,' Marinette muttered under her breath as she went to meet Alya. 

'MARINETTE!' Alya shouted into the phone. 

'How is prison?' Marinette asked. 

'It's horrible, no one listens to me in here, why did you let the others go except for me? I'm your best friend,' Alya pleaded, putting her available hand on the glass that separated the two ex-best friends. 

'You did the worst things to me, please don't try to get my pity. You landed yourself in prison, not me, I did nothing wrong,' Marinette said before adding, 'And also, you were my best friend, you lost that honor long ago.' 

Marinette hung the phone back as the police officers brought Alya back to her cell. Just another moment of listening to Alya was going to drive Marinette insane, at least Lila was interesting. 

They all met up at a restaurant to have dinner, reminiscing about their adventures.

Honestly, this dragged on longer than I thought it would, it's been three years since I started. I don't think I'll be doing any more fanfics, but I will be writing this original story idea of mine, if you're interested, check it out. It's not out yet tho...
