Friends

I headed back to my room, it was Saturday so I assumed we didn't have classes or whatever they make us do here. I must have been right because Olivia showed up a few minutes after, closing our door behind her.

"Margo? Really?" She asked.

I turned towards her, surprised.

"I mean. We were just talking. Why do you say is like that?"

Olivia rolled her eyes,

"You're even dumber than I thought. She's fucking nuts Billie. Stay away from her...for real. Not to mention she's a slut," Olivia said casually.

This was a different side to Olivia than I had seen before. She seemed quieter and tame when I first met her. Now I see attitude and fire, all because the door was shut. And I sensed something else in this equation...jealousy?

"Why? You jealous?" I asked.

Her face turned red,

"No just trying to be a good friend...I guess I overstepped some boundaries, my bad."

She turned around and headed for the door to exit when I felt myself saying,

"Stop, Olivia. If you wanna be friends let me get to know you."

She turned back towards me slowly, a small smile and lit eyes appeared,

"Only if I get to know you too."
