"Damnit Naruto." I mutter, while putting ointment on his face.

Let me explain this.

Ok, so we were all on a mission to get a lost cat, right? Everything would've went smoothly, but somebody had to pick up the cat the wrong way and get scratches all over his face. I mean Naruto has freakin whiskers! Shouldn't he be best friends with it?

I put the ointment back in my pouch, and look back up too see Naruto putting his arms in an 'X'.

"No old man! I want a real ninja mission!" Naruto yells. "All those other things aren't missions! Those are chores, when are we gonna get some action?!"

"I'm not that little brat that used to pull pranks! I am a ninja now and I want a ninja missio-" Naruto gets cut off when Kakashi punches his head.

"Boy, I am so getting in trouble after this..." Kakashi says under his breath.

"No way! You are only a genin, a beginner! You get all the small jobs!" Iruka yells back at him.

"Hmm.. So Naruto wants to prove that he is a former brat, and wants to gain a lot of experience, eh? So be it." The Hokage says.

We all look up to him in shock, everyone obviously not expecting that the old geezer would agree with Naruto.

"Team 7 will be going on a C rank mission, a mission to protect and lead someone back to their home." Gramps pauses, before looking at the door and yelling "Come in!"

"Oh who is it?! Is it a princess? Or a really important council member?!" Naruto yells happily, as the Hokage chuckles at his enthusiasm.

Just as Naruto finishes his sentence, an old drunk guy comes in.

Naruto, Sakura, even Sasuke and I, have our mouths dropped open.

"I am Tazuna, master bridge builder. And all of you will take me home and guard me safely, even if it costs you your lives." Tazuna says

I narrow my eyes at him. This is only a C rank mission.. Why would we need to give our lives to protect him from robbers and bandits? I could just be over thinking this. He is a drunk, after all.

"You're serious? These snot nosed brats are gonna be protecting me? And what's with that short blonde one with the idiotic look on his face?" Tazuna asks.

I growl at him, making my presence known.

Naruto tries to 'get at him' but Kakashi holds him back.

"And there is gonna be a puny little girl protecting me too?" Tazuna says, looking at me.

I'm as tall as Naruto, which isn't half bad.

I appear in front of him in the blink of an eye, and whisper menacingly into his ear.

"Listen here, bridge builder. You see that jonin right there? The one that is protecting you? I could kill him in about .3 seconds. And don't underestimate Naruto, although he acts like a child, he has been through more than you will ever experience, and is one hell of a fighter. Don't underestimate him." Ok, I might've bluffed a little, but I still could kill Kakashi. Just not in .3 seconds. Even though I'd probably die in the process...

I appear back at my position sitting on the Hokages desk, leaving an opened mouth bridge builder where I just stood.

"Ok team, go get your things and meet me at the front gate in 30 minutes." Kakashi instructs us.

I teleport to my house, and put 20 more apples into my scroll.

(A/N just in case you don't understand how she does that, she puts her apples in her scrolls like Tenten puts her weapons in scrolls)

I pack most of my kunai and shuriken, plus a few senbon needles hidden throughout my outfit. You never know, although this is only a C rank mission I have a feeling that Tazuna is hiding something.

Whatever, I'll ponder on it later.

I poof to the tree near the front gate and walk down it, walking about another 50 feet before my eyes land upon Sasuke, waiting there.

We have about 10 minutes before Sakura and Naruto come, and about 20 minutes until Kakashi comes.

"Is this your fist time out of the village?" Sasuke asks.

I deadpan at him, "No." I say.

"Hn." He says.

"Wow what an extensive vocabulary you have there Sasuke! Good job! Here is a gold star!" I sarcastically say to him.

He sticks his nose up in the air, just when Naruto and Sakura start running towards us.

"Oh my gosh! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM KAJI HE IS OBVIOUSLY UPSET-" I cut Sakura off by shoving an apple in her mouth.

"Sakura, shut up." I say to her. I know she has the power to become an extremely strong ninja. I know she does. But she won't forget about stupid Sasuke.

Naruto falls on the floor laughing, Sasuke uses a cough to cover his laugh, and Sakura gets an irk mark. I just stand there, happy that I made Naruto laugh.

She spits the apple out, but I see that and jump to catch it before it hits the ground. However, since life obviously hates me, right when I caught the apple I landed on my sensei's chest, making him stumble, with me on top of him.

"Ow, my boobs." I mutter.

I get up, aware of all my teammates looking shocked at me, sliding my mask down slightly, starting to chew on the apple that Sakura ungratefully spit out.

"Sorry 'bout that sensei. Here," I say, holding a hand out for him, which he takes. I slide my mask back up, slightly uncomfortable without my mask on.

"It's ok Kaji, lets go guys!" Kakashi says to Team 7.

"Alright! Lets go! Woo hoo!" Naruto yells, like a kid in a candy store.

"Oh my gosh Naruto, shut up! Why are you so excited about going anyways?" Sakura asks annoyingly.

"Because this is my first time out of the village, believe it!" Naruto yells back at her.

We walk the dirt path, me with a kunai in hand standing in a defensive position. Kakashi looks at me weirdly,

"Kaji, you do know this is only a C rank mission, it isn't like any ninja are going to be attacking us." Kakashi says.

At that, Tazuna tenses. I notice that.

"Yeah, sure..." I say, still on guard.

Kakashi shakes his head at me.

"Hey Tazuna, your land is the Land of Waves right?" Sakura asks.

"Yeah, what of it?" Tazuna replies gruffly.

"Kakashi-sensei, do they have ninja there?" Sakura asks another question.

"No, there aren't-" Kakashi says, and goes on about the five great nations and the hidden villages. Things I already knew.

As he was explaining this, I notice two foreign heartbeats coming close to us. You see, with my kekkai genkai, called Teishi-tai, meaning stopping body, we can sense the movements of your body, inside and out, and use chakra to immobilize you. Whether it is permanent, or temporary. It takes a lot of chakra for me, because I haven't mastered it yet, and stopping the heart is the hardest thing to do. However, every single person has a different heart beat, so I would know if it was a foreign ninja, a regular citizen, or an animal.

This was two foreign ninja.

I can sense their heart beats coming from a puddle about 10 feet ahead of us, so I go ahead of the group and kick the puddle, hearing a small hiss come from it.

I smirk, and look back at my group, no one but Kakashi knowing what's going on. I give him a nod, and he does the same back to me.

We keep walking ahead, until they emerge from the puddle, 'killing' Kakashi. Kakashi used the substitution jutsu.

"Two little piggies." The two ninja mutter, as they appear behind Naruto. However, I start to see red, and run there so fast it would be hard for the sharingan to detect me. I immediately grasp the chain binding their hands together and flip them over Naruto. I swing them around me to gain momentum and launch them at a tree, making them spin around the tree and getting tied up with their own chain. And just to be sure, Sasuke throws a kunai and shuriken lodging them in place.

"You can come out now Kakashi." I try not to growl.

"Good job Kaji, Sasuke, Sakura. I'm sorry I couldn't help you not get hurt Naruto," I look up to see Naruto's hand cut with poison. So I failed. I bow my head down in shame, as Kakashi continues " I just didn't think you would freeze up like that."

"Hey, you alright, scaredy cat?" Sasuke asks.

"Sasuke! Do not call your teammates names! This is Naruto's first battle with foreign ninja, not everyone has seen their-" I stop, trying to re-word what I was about to say, "Not everyone has experience with foreign ninja." I finish coldly.

Sasuke looks at me, shock written all over his face. He always tries to cover his emotions but honestly he's horrible at it.

"Tazuna, you said you needed protection against robbers and highway men. Not ninja." Kakashi says.

"Why did you let the genin handle that?!" Tazuna asks worriedly.

"I could have killed these two any time, but then I wouldn't have found out anything. I needed to know whether they were coming after one of us, ninja against ninja, or if they were coming after you." Kakashi replies.

"Kakashi, we should go back! This mission is way too dangerous for genin! Plus, we have to go back and get Naruto's hand fixed, the claws had poison on them!" Sakura yells at Kakashi.

"Damnit! Why am I so different! I couldn't do anything! But Kaji and Sasuke.. they did all that without batting an eye!" Naruto yells, while stabbing a kunai onto his wound. "I swear, upon the pain in my left hand, I will protect you!"

Tazuna looks shocked, but a wave of respect passes over his face as he looks at Naruto.

"Naruto, that was really cool and all, but if you bleed anymore you could die." Kakashi says with a closed eye smile.

Naruto starts freaking out, running around saying he is too young to die.

"Naruto! Come here, I'll bandage it for you!" I yell at him. He complies, and walks over to me holding out his hand.

I apply ointment to his wound, but realize that it is already healing.

'Huh, so this is the power of Kurama...' I say in my head.

I wrap up his bandages, and we are off again.

(Woohoo timeskip)

I got on the boat and sit next to Kakashi, right as he asked Tazuna what was going on.

To sum everything up, Tazuna is a bridge builder that is getting in the way of Gato making as much money as he possibly can. So, Gato, this huge money maker jack ass, is hiring ninja to kill Tazuna. But considering that The Land of the Waves is an extremely poor nation, they could only pay for a C rank mission. Then he guilt tripped us into staying on the mission. Which everyone but myself agreed too. And I thought Kakashi was a jonin...

So now we are back on land, and Naruto is trying to throw kunai to impress everyone.

I hear a heart beat, he seems very powerful. Not so great at suppressing charka either..

I look up to a tree behind Kakashi and see the ninjs eye, and I wink at him. His/her eyes widen a fraction before narrowing on me. They disappear in the blink of an eye, and Kakashi and I both yell "Get down guys!" and proceed to push everyone to the ground.

The Executioners Blade gets stick in a tree, and a weird guy with a cow fetish lands on it. Facing the wrong way.

"Woah! Dude, guys! That's Zabuza Momochi! Demon of the hidden mist, current wielder of the executioners blade, part of the seven ninja swordsman of the mist! This guy is a legend!" I yell, obviously excited.

Kakashi glares at me as a signal to shut up, but Zabuza has already taken a liking to me. Hah, sucker.

"Oh my gosh, fan girl moment. Bro, that graduation exam! SO COOL! And oh my gosh you are right here with us right now can you sign my sword holy hairy mother of mary! I just-" I didn't get to finish because Kakashi put a hand over my mouth to stop me from talking.

Zabuza chuckles, and I squeal a little, and then says "So Kakashi of the Sharingan, eh? I have heard lots about you. It seems that you have a student that is fond of my work. Hey girl, what's your name?" he asks me.

I rip Kakas his hand off my mouth faster than anyone ever expected me too, "Kaji Tora! Man, I can't wait to see you fight! Kakashi! Go take a crack at him, I wanna see this guy in action!" I say, squealing a little more.

Zabuza chuckles again, "You heard the girl Kakashi, take a crack at me? I am gonna need the bridge builder."

"Aw man, I never knew you were someone's bitch, Zabuza. Seems as if Gatos got you on your knees begging for money, eh? Pretty pathetic." I sing.

Zabuza gets an irk mark, but then disappears to the middle of the lake.

I start to sense another heartbeat. Another enemy ninja? I frown, wondering who it could be this time. I snap out of it when a thick mist rolls in.

I see Kakashi move his headband so that he can use both eyes, but when he opens his other eye, there is a sharingan there. So, that's what all the books were saying.

"Woah! What is up with Kakashi-sensei's eye?" Naruto asks.

"So, I get to see the Sharingan in action? This should be fun.." Zabuza tells us.

"Everyone keeps saying Sharingan, Sharingan! What is it?" Naruto yells out frustratedly.

"Shinobi who have the sharingan eye.. Have mastered a form of ocular ninjutsu. It enables them to penetrate and see the reality behind any spell of illusion... and to reflect the power of the jutsu they penetrate back on those who cast them!" Sasuke says.

"And you only scratched the surface boy, the most formidable ability of this kekkai genkai is the ability to discern and then duplicate it's opponents greatest skill." Zabuza says, shocking everyone but me.

"When I was an assassin for Kirigakure, I possessed the usual bingo book- a kind of who's our enemies. It had quite the extensive write up on you Kakashi. Including.. a mention of your impressive record. The man who had penetrated and copied over a thousand different jutsu, Kakashi the Copy Cat Ninja." Zabuza finishes.

I could see Sasuke glancing at Kakashi suspiciously, but Kakashi focused on his opponent.

"Well," Zabuza begins, " as pleasant as this conversation has been, the time for talking is over. I am on a very tight schedule you see, so if you could hand over the old man that would be fantastic."

Kakashi stands his grounds.

"Well, if I want that stupid bridge builder looks like I am just gonna have to kill you first." Zabuza claims.

The mist starts to get thicker and thicker, until the only thing we can see is our hands in front of us. Sakura and Naruto, even Sasuke look shocked that Zabuza is still standing on the water. I know this jutsu uses up a lot of chakra, but since we are in the Land of the Waves it should take up less because of the mist already in the air.

"Keep on your guard guys! He will come after me first. Manji form! I taught you teamwork now is the time to use it!" Kakashi yells at us.

"Eight points. Throat, spinal column, lungs, liver, the jugular vein, subclavian artery, kidney, heart. So many choices.. which one should I choose?!" Zabuza laughs like a maniac.

"Honestly the best place would probably be the throat. Clean cut kill, but I mean if you like messy kills than-" I start

"Shut up Kaji!" Kakashi hisses at me.

I narrow my eyes at him but stay silent.

I start feeling Sasuke's heart beat increase to extremely fast, and I look over to him, just as he is holding a kunai above his chest.

"Sasuke, who knew you didn't have any balls? Don't worry! I'll protect you no matter what!" I state calmly with a closed eye smile at him.

Right after I say that, Zabuza lands between us genin and the bridge builder, but I activate my kekkai genkai and stop his arms from swinging, giving Kakashi enough time to get in front of the sword and stopping it with ease because of me.

"What happened?!" Zabuza yells angrily.

"Wow, you suck at listening don't you Zabuza? You see, my kekkai genkai has the ability to stop any part of your body. I am from the Tora clan, remember? My kekkai genkai is far more superior to the sharingan, because the sharingan cannot copy it, no matter how hard they try." I say to him, 'tsking' while shaking my finger.

"What? You little brat! The Tora clan is dead and useless now! They all died!" He yells back at me.

I growl, feeling more and more adrenaline making up for my loss of chakra. I let his arms go from my Teishi-tai.

That other ninja is just hanging out in the trees, but I ignore him. For now.

Kakashi stabs Zabuza with a kunai, but it was a water clone. Then, Zabuza comes up behind Kakashi and slices him open. But since Kakashi had his sharingan open, he also used the water clone jutsu.

The real Kakashi appears behind Zabuza and hold a kunai to his throat.

"Game over." Kakashi says menacingly.

"Heh, you think it's over? It will take more to defeat me than mimicking me like an ape. A lot more. Hehehe, but I'll give you this; you are good. In that short time, you duplicated my water clone technique, and by making your student say something you would've said yourself.. you ensured all my attention would be focused on it when you used the opening to silently make a clone. While you yourself used the Hidden Mist technique to hide, watching my every move! Too bad for you." Zabuza says, as he reappears behind Kakashi with a kunai to his neck, making his Sharingan eye widen.

"I am not that easy to fool!" Zabuza tells him.

The Zabuza that Kakashi was holding fell to the ground: just another water clone.

Kakashi looks back just as Zabuza pulls his sword back, aiming to chop his head off. Kakashi ducks, but is kicked away into the lake, but leaves caltrops on the ground.

Just as Kakashi thinks he is safe in the water, Zabuza appears behind him and puts him in a water prison jutsu.

"You running around free makes it hard to do my job." Zabuza tells Kakashi.

"Well we don't exactly want to make it easy for you.. dip shit." I mutter.

Zabuza makes water clones to come after us, and then Kakashi tells us to run.

"Wow, some jonin you are! You idiot! What would happen if we did run, huh? Kakashi, Zabuza is one of the Seven Ninja Swordsman. Even if we were to run away, he would just kill you and then come after us! It's either take a chance saving you and maybe dying or getting our coffin picked out and running away. We'd never abandon you anyways!" I yell over to him.

Zabuza looks over at us and tells us that we aren't ninja, just brats wearing a headband. Naruto looks deep in thought, and runs towards Zabuza who somehow had Naruto's headband under his feet.

He runs towards Zabuza and retrieves his headband, putting it on and telling Zabuza, "Hey.. you.. What's life like with no eyebrows, freak? Got a new listing for your bingo book right here! A guy who is gonna be the next Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves! Naruto Uzumaki!" He yells.

"I got a plan Sasuke! Come here!" Naruto yells to his rival.

"Heh, finally thinking about teamwork huh? Lets do this!" Sasuke says.

Naruto throws Sasuke two demon wind shuriken, one being him, and Sasuke throws them at Zabuza. Zabuza catches one, but doesn't see the second one in it's shadow. He easily jumps over it, but it poofs into Naruto who throws a kunai right at Zabuza's neck. His only choice was to let Kakashi out of the water prison just and dodge it, so that is exactly what Zabuza did.

"Great job Naruto!" Kakashi praises.

Naruto chuckled and scratches the back of his head, "I knew we would never be able to beat him on our own, that's why I was focusing on getting you out of the water prison Jutsu!"

Zabuza and Kakashi then both started doing hand signs, and Kakashi convinced Zabuza that he could see the future.

"Yes, I can. This is your last battle." Kakashi said, trying to be all bad ass.

Just as Kakashi said that, the ninja that was hiding in the trees the whole time decided to make his presence know by throwing 2 senbon at Zabuzas neck.

I walked over to Zabuza, and felt no heart beat.

"Thank you for your help. I hope you don't mind my interfering, but I wanted the satisfaction.. of putting Zabuza down myself." The other ninja said.

"The mask.. You are a hunter nin from the Village Hidden in the Mist, am I correct?" Kakashi asks.

"I am indeed, a member of the elite tracking unit from the Village Hidden in the Mist. It is our responsibility -- and our art -- to hunt down and deal with the rogues and outlaws." The hunter nin tells us.

Judging by how they hold himself/herself, I am guessing it is a guy. No older than Naruto, very strong.

Naruto throws a temper tantrum, and Kakashi tells him, "There are kids who are younger than you," he flicks his eyes over to me, "yet stronger than me."

The hunter nine disappears with Zabuza's body, and we start walking to Tazunas house, when Kakashi faints. I insist that I carry him, I have trained myself to carry very heavy weight uphill, so carrying Kakashi on flat ground should be nothing.

(Timeskip weehee)

Well, we finally made it to Tazuna's house, where we met his daughter and grandson who had attitude problems. I couldn't fully trust them yet, so I kept my distance. But once Kakashi was put on a bed, I plopped right on the floor next to him and fell asleep.

I realized that I used my kekkai genkai for too long when I stopped Zabuza from ripping the bridge builder in half, and helping Kakashi deal with the weight of the sword.

"It was fun fighting you... Zabuza Momochi... I hope we can tussle again sometime." I whisper, as I pass out.
