They started dating that night, and they were beyond happy. Cade absolutely adored his mother's boyfriend, and he became a father figure in his life. Olivia was falling in love with Rafael, and it scared her. It was especially scary since she had just started dating him and she didn't want to get attached and have him change his mind.

"So, are you okay with Cade tonight?" Olivia asked softly as she got ready for her date with Rafael. It was a Friday night, so Olivia was going to spend the night and most of the day with her boyfriend.

"I don't know... why am I watching him again?"  Alex teased.

"I just don't want to force him on you, if you have plans." Olivia breathed.

"Nope. I'm having a date night with my favorite man. I'm thinking that we will eat dinosaur nuggets, play with legos and dinosaurs, and end the night with watching Paw Patrol." Alex spoke, and Olivia smiled before hugging her best friend.

"You will find a guy, eventually. I'm older than you, so it's my time." Olivia chuckled.

"Do you just want to get pregnant?" Alex asked, and Olivia quickly shook her head.

"No... I don't want to ruin what Rafael and I have going. I'd love to have another baby or two, but I don't want to scare Rafael away if he doesn't want kids now or later."

"Liv, he loves you and Cade. I think he'd love to knock you up." Alex spoke quickly.

"Elliot didn't even want to knock me up! Why the hell would Rafael?!" Olivia huffed, as Alex slipped from her best friend's room.

Olivia moaned deeply as her boyfriend kissed and sucked on her neck. She knew that she'd be covered in hickies, but really didn't mind. 

"We can move to the bedroom if you'd like." Rafael smiled, as he came up for air. Olivia bit her lip as she looked at him, before shrugging.

"Rafael, I should really get on birth control... condoms and Plan B aren't the best for what we've been doing." Olivia breathed, and Rafael nodded slowly.

"Okay. But why are you just bringing that up now?" Rafael questioned, as he wrapped his arms around Olivia's waist.

"Because Alex brought up something earlier and it kinda scared me... I'm worried that I'll..."

"You'll what?" Rafael breathed.

"That if we don't use better protection, I'll end up pregnant. We've only been dating for a month, and I really doubt that now is the time you'd like to start a family with me. Honestly, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want any kids with me." Olivia breathed. She felt awkward and vulnerable. 

She and Elliot had talked about starting a family a few times, but that was before they got married and before he met Abbie. Once he met her, he never did want a child with Olivia.

"Having kids with you have been on my mind since that first night together... we are both older and I kinda assumed that eventually we'd talk about it."

"Like talk about having them or did you change your mind?" Olivia breathed.

"About when we thought the best time to start a family together would be. I was thinking maybe in a year... I think we will be together still, and we will be more used to each other. We might even have said that we love each other by then."

"Okay. A year." Olivia breathed.

"Are you-"

"A year gives me time to prepare myself for this all."

"I'll set a reminder... you know, just in case it doesn't happen sooner."

"Let's go to the bedroom." Olivia smiled, before standing and pulling her boyfriend up.

"If you insist, Livvie."

By the time Olivia went home the next morning, she and Rafael had talked about a lot. They ended up not waiting more than a few hours before talking about what they were hoping to gain from this relationship. And Rafael told Olivia that he was falling hard for her, and was getting closer to feeling ready enough to tell her that he loved her. Olivia only heard a few words before blurting out that she loved him.

But she wasn't embarrassed. Rafael ended up just coming out and saying it too before they fell asleep snuggled together.

"How was your date?" Alex yawned, as she came out of her bedroom. She had fallen asleep after putting Cade down for his nap, and only woke up when she heard Olivia washing dishes in the kitchen.

"It was amazing. On our one year anniversary, we are going to start discussing having kids. And last night we actually said that we loved each other. Alex, it took me ten months to tell Elliot that I loved him... I was still unsure when I said it. But I'm not unsure when I said that to Rafael. I do really love him."

"Elliot came back last night." Alex frowned, and Olivia's eyes went wide.

"What did he say?" Olivia breathed.

"He wants to spend time with Cade. He was wondering if I could just lie to you and say that he didn't even come over. But I'd never do that." Alex spoke.

"He's not spending time with Cade. I refuse to let him ruin my sweet baby. Cade is doing good without Elliot."

"He's doing great with me, you, and Rafael. He really doesn't need Elliot, but Elliot thinks that he needs him."

"What is Abbie pregnant again? He seems to show up a lot more when Abbie is pregnant or just had a baby... or honestly when he wants to piss me off."

"Maybe you should try and talk to him again. See if threatening him helps."

"I'm not going to threaten him... I'm just going to try and not hit him... I'll be back soon."

Olivia texted Elliot and asked if they could meet up. He was quick to give her an address to a cheap motel, which she told him that she refused to go to. So they decided on a Walmart parking lot. Then once Olivia and Elliot were done fighting, Olivia planned on going inside and picking up a few things.

Olivia got out of her vehicle and waited for Elliot to show up. Once he did, he scrambled from his car and quickly ran to Olivia.

"I'm so glad you called. I've missed you." He spoke quickly, before going in for a kiss. But he was surprised when he was greeted with Olivia's fist instead.
