Will stood in his dorm room pacing back and forth. His hands fidgeting nervously as he whispered to himself continuously to 'Calm down' Mike raised his eyebrows and look at him.

"Why are you freaking out?" Mike sighed softly as he grabbed Will to stop him from pacing around the room.

"Mike, I'm not ready to graduate." He panicked, "God knows how hard it's gonna be to find a decent paying job."

Mike laughed and pulled Will into his arms, kissing his head and swaying with him, "I love you but you're worrying too much about this."

Will sighed softly and hid his face in Mike's chest, "I'm sorry, it's just so much." He whispered.

"It's your birthday tomorrow, let's just get graduation over and done with okay?" He smiled as he pulled Will in for a kiss.

"Yeah, okay." Will whispered as he kissed Mike back and wrapped his arms around his neck.

Mike opened his eyes and looked at the clock and pulled away quickly, "Shit! Look Will I gotta go to my graduation right now I'll see you soon okay?" He smiled kissing Will's face before running to the door.

"Good luck! I love you!" Will's called as he watched Mike leave, "Sorry I can't be there!"

"I love you too!" Mike called, "I'm sorry I can't be at yours!"

Will arrived at the auditorium for his graduation, he greeted his mom and his brother before taking his seat. An hour later, he was finally a college graduate and all his nerves were gone.

"I'm so proud of you Will!" Joyce smiled widely as she pulled him in for a hug.

Will laughed and hugged her back, "Thanks mom."

"Well done little bro." Jonathan smiled as he patted Will's back.

"Thank you guys for being here." Will smiled hugging them both at the same time.

Mike stepped off stage with the rest of his year group, everyone celebrating with their family and friends. He smiled as he began to make his way back to his dorm room.

He had invited his parents and his sisters but he wasn't too caught up on the fact that they weren't gonna come. The past few years they had sort of reconciled, at least they made the effort to speak to him now.

He left the auditorium, taking his hat off while he held his diploma in his hand. He was officially a graduate, he was no longer Porn star Wheeler. He approached the front doors of his accommodation and went to open the door before a familiar voice called his name.

"Michael!" She called, running up with another woman and a younger girl.

Mike turned around to see his Mom, Nancy and Holly all making their way towards him, "Oh shit, I didn't think you guys would've came." He smiled widely.

Karen pulled him in for a hug and Holly and Nancy joined in, "Of course we came."

Mike tensed up a little, his mom hadn't hugged him in years. He immediately melted into her hug.

"Where's Will?" Nancy asked as she looked around.

"He's on his way over with his mom and his brother, he just graduated too." Mike smiled.

They made their way over to the parking lot and waited for the Byers family to arrive, no longer than ten minutes they pulled up in Jonathan's car.

Will got out of the car quickly and ran to Mike, kissing his face and hugging him, "I don't think I've ever been this happy!"

Mike laughed, "Not even when I proposed to you?" He smiled stroking Will's cheek.

"Well that's my top one." Will smiled pecking him before greeting the rest of the Wheelers.

"Hey Mike." Joyce smiled hugging him tightly, "You look amazing in a cap and gown."

"Thanks Miss Byers." He laughed as he pulled away from the hug and shook Jonathan's hand.

"When are you two finally gonna get married? You've been together for five years." Jonathan laughed as he pat Mike's back.

"We actually haven't talked about anything." Mike told him as he looked over at Will, "I don't want him to feel like I'm rushing him."

"He's turning twenty two tomorrow Mike." He laughed, "And he's most certainly not getting rid of you."

Mike looked at the ground then to Jonathan, "I'll try talk to him about it." He smiled.

"Cmon mom we gotta check into the hotel." Jonathan smiled as he got into his car, Joyce hugged Will goodbye and they left.

Mike walked over and took Will's hands into his, "So I have a present." He smiled looking at his fiancé.

"Mike! We agreed no presents because you always one up me!" Will sighed looking up at him with a frown.

"The sex makes up for it." Mike shrugged as he kissed Will's cheek, "Get into my car and I'll be there in a few minutes." He smiled handing Will his car keys, Will squeezed Mike's hand and made his way to the car.

"I'll see you guys later okay? Joyce is treating everyone to a dinner tonight so come along." Mike smiled kissing each of their cheeks before walking away.

They had been driving for a few minuets, talking to each other about their graduation ceremonies.

"Mike where are we going?" Will asked impatiently.

He laughed and parked the car, "We're here."

Will got out of the car, "Fancy apartment complex?" He questioned as he took Mike's hand into his.

Mike nodded, "Fancy apartment complex." He smiled as he took Will inside and into the elevator.

"What are we even doing here?" He asked as they stepped out of the elevator and Mike took him towards a door.

Mike slipped the key into the hole and twisted the lock, "Welcome to our first home Will Byers." Mike smiled as he walked inside to the already furnished apartment.

Will gasped and covered his mouth, "Mike oh my god." He whispered looking around, "It's so..I don't know." He laughed happily as he turned to Mike.

"Remember when I asked you what would you choose for interior design?" Mike smiled.

Will nodded, "Wait- I chose all the furniture?" He asked raising his eyebrows,

Mike nodded and smiled, "Yes! And I even got some of your art framed and hung up."

Will's eyes watered as he looked up at Mike, "You're such a dick!" He sniffled.

Mike's face dropped, "Woah, what's wrong?"

"You done all this and I got you nothing!" He sobbed sitting on the sofa.

"Hey it's okay! I didn't want anything." Mike smiled, "You designed the apartment so that contributes."

Will sniffled, "Bitch."

Mike laughed and sat beside him, "Okay, I'll be your bitch." he winked

Will smiled and laughed a little as he leaned into Mike, "You have to stop doing these big things."

"I'm sorry." He smiled, "But we have a bath big enough to fit both of us."

Will looked at Mike and pulled him in for a kiss, Mike kissed him back before pulling away, "And a bed that actually fits two people instead of those single beds." He smiled wriggling his eyebrows and nodding his head towards the bedroom.

Will nodded and pulled Mike up from the chair, "Hurry up!" He smiled running to the bedroom.

"Happy birthday." Mike smiled as he shook Will awake.

"Noooo." Will mumbled as he squeezed his eyes shut.

Mike kissed Will's neck and wrapped his arms around Will's waist, "Your mom is on her way over to see the apartment." He whispered against Will's neck, "And you of course, you emerged from her this day twenty two years ago so the least you could do is greet her."

Will sat up and got out of the bed, "Gross Mike." He sighed rubbing his eyes as he took his clothes out of the closet.

"Birth is beautiful William!" Mike smiled getting out of the bed and fixing the sheets.

Will shook his head and laughed, "I'm gonna get a shower."

"You know what's funny? I also heard that I was having a shower the exact same time as you." He smirked as he followed Will into the bathroom.

"My mom is on her way and I need you to let her in." Will frowned as he put his hand on Mike's chest to stop him from walking any further.

"Nooo!" Mike whined as he pulled Will in for a kiss.

Will pulled away and pushed Mike's chest, "Go."

"Fine! But you owe me." Mike sighed as he left the bathroom.

"So, how does it feel being twenty two?" Max smiled as she nudged Will's shoulder, her speech slurred as they were a good few drinks into the night.

Will laughed and shook his head, "No different than being twenty one, I think birthdays stop being exciting once you turn legal."

"He's right." El smiled as she sat beside Max, sliding yet another drink over to Will, "I haven't been excited for a birthday in four years."

"I always forget you three are twenty five." Dustin spoke up as he looked at El, Mike and Lucas who sat opposite of Max, Will and himself.

Mike and Lucas looked over, "If anything, I am twenty two at heart." Mike smiled before taking another drink of his beer.

"I'm so happy you guys are here." Will smiled as he wrapped his arms around Max and Dustin, "Please come to my wedding." he slurred a little.

Mike raised his eyebrow and laughed a little along with Max and Dustin, "Don't you mean you and Mike's wedding?" Max asked.

Will frowned a little and Mike cleared his throat, "No no, it can be Will's big day." Mike smiled as he took Will's hand and kissed it.

Hours later Will stumbled into the apartment, Mike close behind him as they laughed the whole way home.

"Michael, me and you, bedroom now." Will slurred as he stumbled against the wall.

Mike laughed locked the front door before holding onto Will, "Birthday sex in new apartment? Yes pleaseee." Mike smiled as he pulled Will to the bedroom.

Will fell onto the bed and lay there, "We should get married."

Mike climbed onto of him, "Like, while we have sex?" He slurred.

"No!" Will smiled, "Like on New Year's Eve or July nineteenth."

"Why July nineteenth?" Mike laughed as he looked down at Will.

Will shrugged, "I liked the sound of it."

Mike laughed and lay on top of Will, "Okay." He smiled, "Yeah, we should definitely get married."

"I have to call my mom!" Will exclaimed as he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and dialled her number.

"Will?! What's wrong? It's three in the morning!" She sighed down the phone.

"Mom I'm getting married on New Year's Eve or July nineteenth!" He slurred down the phone.

Joyce was silent before sighing, "Okay, that's wonderful but I'm going back to sleep."

"Goodnight!" Will smiled as he hung up and looked down at Mike who was now passed out on Will's chest.

Will lay his head back and smiled as he drifted off to sleep.
