Chapter 28

"Evan what the fuck?!" Will shouted pulling away as the music started playing again, couples dancing and enjoying the start of the new year.

Evan looked up at Will and smiled, "Will he's no good for you! You need me."

Will wiped his lips as his eyes watered, "Just leave me alone!" He shouted, pushing through the crowds of people until he made his way to the exit.

After an hour of walking, Will made his way to Mike's dorm room and stood outside the door. His tear stained face and bloodshot eyes didn't help with trying to act like nothing had happened.

He stared at the door and knocked it three times, surprisingly the door opened no longer than thirty seconds after to reveal a tired Mike running his hand through his hair. He looked at Will and straightened up, "Oh my god are you okay?" He asked widening his eyes as he opened the door for Will's to come inside.

Will shook his head and sniffled, "I'm s-so sor-sorry!" He sobbed loudly as he made his way into Mike's dorm room.

Mike looked at him confused and held Will's arm, "Hey, what happened?" He whispered softly as he cupped Will's cheek with the other hand.

Will sobbed gibberish and pulled Mike into a hug, crying into his chest and not letting himself catch a breath. Mike lay down with him and rubbed his back soothingly, whispering sweet nothings into Will's ear as he kissed around Will's face.

After what seemed to be an hour Will finally stopped crying, Mike's shirt was soaked from Will's tears.

"Feeling better?" Mike whispered with a small smile as Will sat up and wiped his face.

"You're gonna hate me so I'm gonna give you this back." Will whispered as his voice cracked, slipping the engagement ring off his finger and handing it to Mike.

Mike looked at the ring, "Will what are you doing?" He asked slightly panicked, "Will please don't do this I can't loose you, I would never want to mess with you." He begged as his eyes became glassy.

Will looked away from Mike, "Evan k-kissed me at m-midnight." He choked out as tears formed in his eyes again.

Mike's face went pale as he looked at Will, he sat in silence for five minutes before standing up.

"B-but you didn't like, kiss him back.." Mike smiled shakily as he looked at Will, "Did you?"

Will shook his head and sniffled, "No! I didn't, he wouldn't let go of me, I had to shove him."

Mike exhaled and covered his face, he laughed into his hands and sniffled, "Shit Will, you had me freaked for a second."

Will raised his eyebrows and looked at Mike, "Y-you're not mad?"

"No! You didn't want him to and you didn't kiss back, you had me thinking you cheated on me." He sniffled walking over and holding Will's face, "Put the ring back on idiot." He smiled as he kissed Will, their salty tears mixing together.

Will pulled away and smiled, he slipped the ring back on and hugged Mike tightly "I'm sorry I didn't spend New Years with you." He whispered into Mike's neck.

"It's okay, you were mad at me." Mike whispered, "I would be mad if I was told my fiancé only wanted me for sex at the start and was still doing porn." He laughed a little.

Will pulled away slightly and looked up at Mike, "I'm sorry!" Mike said quickly as he held Will's waist, "I'm sorry, how about you kissing Evan is payback for all the things Richie had done?"

Will nodded sadly and hugged Mike again, "I'm so sorry."

"No, it's okay." Mike smiled as he kissed Will's face, "Look, how about a bath then you can stay over tonight? We can have a long overdue talk."

Will nodded and pulled away from the hug, kissing Mike's cheek before making his way to the bathroom.

Mike sat on the bed, Will walked out of the bathroom clean and refreshed as he climbed onto the bed and sat beside Mike. He took a long breath before exhaling.

"I guess I should tell you why I was doing porn again." Mike started, he seen Will's eyebrows furrow a little.

Will nodded and fidgeted nervously with the ring that hugged his finger perfectly.

Mike bit his lip and took Will's hand into his, "You know the way people get part time jobs when they're sixteen and start gaining work experience?" Mike asked and Will nodded back, looking at him with confusion.

"And by the time they go to college its easy for them to pick up a job to earn some quick money?" he said softly, placing a kiss onto Will's hand.

Will just nodded again, listening to Mike, "I never had that, my parents never let me get a part time job so I would focus on school." he sighed.

"When we got here, I was living off the last of my savings." Mike told Will, "I had applied for jobs, so many jobs but they all said I lacked the experience for the job."

Will's eyes softened as he watched Mike tell the truth, "Then I got this email from a production company asking me personally if I wanted to work with them, I was desperate."

"Mike..." Will whispered as he squeezed Mike's hand.

Mike shook his head, "I never slept with anyone, it was all solo videos and I made it clear that it was all I wanted to do." he told Will, "I was too nervous to tell you and I'm sorry."

"I know." Will whispered, a hint of red appearing on his cheeks, "I went online and watched the videos to see what you were doing when we weren't speaking."

Mike laughed and pulled Will into his arms, "You are such a fan boy." he smiled, "But, can I ask you something also?"

"Of course, you can ask me anything." Will smiled as he wrapped his arms around Mike.

"What happened at halloween? I know you didn't want to talk about it but it feels like it was my fault for bringing you there." Mike asked nervously. He didn't want to upset Will.

Will sighed softly and looked up at Mike, "My dad..." Will whispered before taking a deep breath, "He used to chase and threaten me with baseball bats, would've hit me too."

Mike frowned and held Will closer as he listened, "I guess the halloween thing just triggered those thoughts, I'm sorry I never told you." he apologised.

Mike kissed Will's head, "Thank you for telling me."

"I love gay people." Stacy smiled as she looked at Mike and Will sleeping in the same bed together, Mike opened his eyes and sat up slightly.

"What happened? Did somebody die?" Mike asked blinking a few times as he looked at her.

"Not this time Mikey!" She smiled kissing his forehead then kissing Will's.

"Mmm, Mike go back to sleep." Will mumbled as he held onto Mike's arm.

Mike laughed and pulled Will into his arms, "Will wake up, I gotta beat Evans ass soon."

"Evan? Mean Evan?" Stacy smiled as she sat at her desk.

"Yes Stacy." Mike smiled as he kissed Will's face.

Will opened his eyes and squinted, "Too bright." He whispered looking up at Mike.

"You'll adjust." Mike smiled getting up and getting into jeans.

Will sat up and looked around the room, he looked towards the window where Stacy was staring right at him making him jump, "Shit! Stacy you scared me." He laughed tiredly.

"Sorry Willy!" She smiled stroking his cheek so gently that Will could barely feel it.

Will took her hand and kissed it, "See you soon Stacy, stay weird." He smiled as he got up and slipped his shoes on, he wore Mike's hoodie and way too big pyjama bottoms.

"Bye!" She smiled waving as Mike and Will left.

"Please don't kill him!" Will begged as he opened the door to his dorm room and stood in front of it.

"No promises." Mike sighed as he cracked his knuckles.

Will walked inside and Mike followed in behind him, Evan lay asleep in his bed peacefully until Mike walked over and grabbed him out of bed, "Oh shit!" Evan gasped as he woke up.

Will stood in the corner of the room and covered his mouth as he watched Mike take the first punch straight onto Evans nose, Evans eyes watered as he grabbed into his nose "Fuck!"

"You seriously think you could get away with kissing my fiancé?!" Mike shouted, Will's heart swelled at being called Mike's fiancé but one Mike started to rapidly punch Evan he snapped back to reality and ran over.

"Mike! Stop! You'll kill him!" Will shouted as he grabbed onto Mike's arm.

Evans nose busted and blood splattered all over his face and Mike's hand, Mike dropped Evan onto the floor and wiped his hands, "Stay the fuck away." He smiled as he grabbed Will by the waist and looked towards Evan again, "Hey Evan! Look!"

"What the fuck do you want psycho?" He muffled as he looked at them.

Mike laughed and pulled Will into a kiss, Will kissed him back and pulled away after a minute, "Dickheads." Evan mumbled as he left the room quickly.

Will laughed and covered his mouth, "I'm so terrible."

"Let's have sex in his bed." Mike smiled as he pulled the hoodie off Will and kissed Will's neck.

Will smiled and wrapped his arms around Mike, "I love you." He whispered running his hands through Mike's hair.

"I love you too." Mike smiled against Will's neck before falling back onto Evans bed with him, "We really need to get you a new dorm room."
