Why me?

Zayn walked back into his younger brothers hospital room, Liam was asleep on Harry whilst harry was alseep too on the chairs surrounding Nialls bed. Louis was comforting Niall as he silently cried. Paul just watched all of this as tears filled his eyes.Zayn walked over to niall and hugged him "whats wrong ni" Zayn questions with a nice soothing voice. "why me I can't feel my legs anymore and I.. i .. can't stand or run or anything" niall sobbed his little heart out. Zayns heart broke into million of pieces hearing his younger brother speak like this. Niall was usually the little ball of sunshine and seeing him so upset broke everyone. Louis looked so guilty as if he could have stopped this "louis this isn't you fault" Zayn said "I know but it's still upsetting seeing him like this" louis replies as he cried. The brothers huddled together knowing it was tough but they will pull through.Later on Niall was discharged however only a week ago Niall was running and playing with liam and his brothers now he needed to be pushed and this broke the little boys heart. "Ok boys I've got a driver to take you home I need to get to work and Niall you will have a nurse at home to help you get everything done" Paul said in his deep voice. Now Niall needed a injection in his back every 4 hours to help get rid of any fluid building up towards the bottom of his spine so this was going to be tricky. Zayn and the boys got home so as the boys all got out of the car louis got Nialls wheelchair and Zayn carried niall bridal style to their house. Harry helped get the couch nice and soft for niall and Zayn laid niall down while louis got liam in. Niall was wondering if he could move his legs again so he tried to get up but fell flat to the ground and as soon as the loud thump was heard everyone came running In. "what are you doing niall" louis exclaimed and Zayn went and lifted his small blonde brother of the ground. "nothing" niall mumbled. now niall was due an injection so the nurse came and was about to do it but niall was screaming and thrashing about and shouting "please noooooo only zaynie or louis can no one please" that's when Zayn and louis both looked at each other knowing that niall only feels safe around his brothers and dad so Zayn called his dad "hey Dad I don't think the nurse is needed niall won't let her do anything he will only let us do it so I don't think we really need her I mean we have everything under control." paul sighed knowing he can't let his older sons look after his younger one but he knows thats all he can do for now "ok son don't worry I'll sort it". The nurse left and Zayn an louis were left to give niall his medication. Louis held niall up so his back was reachable and since niall was really small it wasn't much effort for Louis. Zayn got the right amount in the syringe and inserted it at the bottom of Nialls spine, he doesn't really feel it so it's not as painful. "There you go bud all done" Zayn sighed. This became a routine for the boys even at school the older boys would got to Nialls class to give his medication.liam was playing on the floor with his action figures and he really wanted niall to play so he waddled to him and started to try and pull niall of his wheelchair and lead him to where he was playing "liam stop" niall said as his eyes were glued to the TV screen "no Ni Ni play wiv me" liam repeats a few times and niall really wants to but he can't move down to the floor and he just gets so frustrated so he just pushes liam who stumbles backwards and falls on his nappy covered bum. liams big brown eyes fill with tears and they start to release. "you no wuv me anymore" liam shouts at Niall who feels guilty. Zayn comes running down after hearing all the noise he sees liam on the floor crying and Niall looking guilt. "what happened" Zayn questions. "Niall push me I try making him play" liam explains. "niall you know that's not right" and Niall just breaks down "IM FED UP OF BEING IN THIS WHEELCHAIR NOT MOVING WHY ME ... I hate it" he whispers the end. Tears stream down Nialls face and Zayn crouches down to his level, with his big thumbs he wipes Nialls tears and pushes his chin up so he faces him "I get it. its hard and everything is different but your still the same person you were before the accident so don't let this chair stop your or change you ok?" Zayn says trying to make niall feel better. "ok" Niall mumbles and throws himself at Zayn wrapping his arms tightly around Zayns neck. "I love you" niall whispers in Zayns ear " I love you too" Zayn replies and kisses his cheek.
