Chapter 62: I can see the End

Only 13 more chapter left.

Liam: Hey babe! Stopping by your office to pick up the check for Aspen's field trip! Would you like lunch?

I smiled at my phone these past two months have been amazing. It felt great to be in LA, be working for Seventeen Magazine,  and have Liam home, not in that order of course, but life was pretty swell.

Besides having my own clothing line Seventeen Magazine asked me to be their fashion editor since their previous one retried. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, there was no way I was going to pass it up. Liam has been nothing but supportive and I love him more and more each day.

"Maya, we need to on the set of the photo shoot now. The you tubers are here," my assistant, Kelly, told me. "Thanks Kel!" I smiled at her. I quickly picked up my phone and texted back Liam.

Maya: lunch sounds amazing. Give me an hour and a half. Xoxo.

I piled everything I would need into my purse and headed to the studio where the photo shoot was taking place. I knew it was okay to be late because anytime we got this group together they always had to catch up with one another before we got done to business. My job was my dream working along side of brilliant professionals to create something I used to read religiously. My name was in a world known magazine, and finally it wasn't because of who I was married to, it was because of my own success.

"Everyone is stuck in traffic, " Kelly sighed as I arrived at the location. "I didn't get stuck," I told her. "Well I'm assuming you weren't going the main roads," she laughed. She knew me too well, to be honest with you. She knew I preferred the less busy roads and usually took the long way to get anywhere if that mean I could avoid traffic here and there.

(Liam’s POV )

"MAN! Does it feel great to step back into a studio!" I exclaimed as I walked in. "It's good to have you back," Harry smiled. The rest of the guys look at me and smiled. "This album is going to be sick!" Niall exclaimed.  "Does it have a fever?" Simon joked. We all just stared at him. "What you didn't think it was funny?" He asked. "It's was so funny I didn't know what laugh to use," Louis laughed.

It felt great to be back. Back with the guys in the recording studio, back home with Maya and Aspen. Back in my normal life. But this time we weren't in Nebraska anymore.

Maya: Aspen's teacher just called me. We need to get to the school right away.

Liam: what?! Why?!

Maya: She thinks Aspen had a seziure. 

Liam: She was fine when we left for school this morning!

Maya: I know she was Lee. These things just sort of happen. Everything will be okay. I promise. Just meet me there please.

My stomach was in knots, she hadn't had a seziure in over a year. I quickly told the guys what was going on and left.

(At the doctors office)

"Have you ever heard epilepsy?" The doctor asked. "Yeah, I know some who are," Maya sighed.  "I want you to watch her closely. No school for a couple days and stay close to her. I don't want to jinx this but this might be an early sing of epilepsy," he sighed.

No. No. No.

(Maya's POV )

I helped Aspen into her seat and buckled her. Liam leaned in and kissed me.  "I'll see when I get home," he whispered. I wrapped my arms around his neck and smile!. "I love you babe," I whispered.

When I got home I called my office to tell them I wouldn't be in for a few days and then made some lunch.

Mom: Dad and I are coming to visit. Be there soon (:

Maya: did you fly in?

Mom: we do tonight! surprise!

Maya: Thank Goodness! I need your guys advice.
